DeSantis Vows to Hold Vaccine Makers Accountable for Lying About Effectiveness

Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced that his administration plans to hold vaccine manufacturers accountable for making false claims about the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, which new evidence has shown may have posed a greater risk to specific demographics than the virus.

DeSantis made the comments at a private Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) event at the Florida Governor’s Mansion, according to American Greatness. He resolved to work with Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo “to hold these manufacturers accountable…”

“...but there are other people around the country that got forced to take this and then what? They’re not allowed to sue or get any type of recourse when this is not something that they wanted to do? So this is something that we’re gonna lead on in Florida, so we’re gonna have probably some announcements over the next three or four weeks on that. We’ve always gotten in front of these things, so we’re gonna continue to do that going forward.”

It's really a shame that Obama still touts this racism thing...all Trump supporters including our President is "racist." It gets sickening.

Did the Americans in these counties not know Barack Obama was black when they voted for him in 2008 and 2012 and then realized a “deep-seated panic” over a “black man in the White House” when Donald Trump descended his golden escalator at Trump Tower in 2015 to announce his presidential campaign?"

Donald Trump won the highest level of support among nonwhite candidates for a Republican since 1960. And did Obama forget it was a Republican president who freed the slaves?

Is the vice mayor talking about all the increased slum, blight and crime since he's been in office that has now made our city one of the top crime cities in the country? We are now safer than 4% of the cities in the country.  Back in 2009, when he first campaigned for office, he promised to improve the "overall health, sanitation and safety conditions of our homes" and provide "cleaner and safer neighborhoods."

Perhaps he means contentious when he's referring to some of the horrible decisions and statements he made from the dais over the last two years (especially the one where he told the voters that their vote didn't count) and then went ahead and voted in a hotel district.

Is this the "common sense" and "uncommon leadership" he was referring to back then? Is it the lack of transparency that has been implemented from the dais when he talks about "uncommon leadership?" Is it "You'' do it my way" and forget about what the people want? Trust is paramount when one is talking to and representing residents. Or is uncommon leadership just all the unfulfilled promises that went by the wayside?  Our city has regressed in the nearly five years that he has been in office but his personal political career has taken off.
