DeSantis Vows to Hold Vaccine Makers Accountable for Lying About Effectiveness

Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced that his administration plans to hold vaccine manufacturers accountable for making false claims about the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, which new evidence has shown may have posed a greater risk to specific demographics than the virus.

DeSantis made the comments at a private Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) event at the Florida Governor’s Mansion, according to American Greatness. He resolved to work with Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo “to hold these manufacturers accountable…”

“...but there are other people around the country that got forced to take this and then what? They’re not allowed to sue or get any type of recourse when this is not something that they wanted to do? So this is something that we’re gonna lead on in Florida, so we’re gonna have probably some announcements over the next three or four weeks on that. We’ve always gotten in front of these things, so we’re gonna continue to do that going forward.”
