Kalinthia Dillard named next county inspector general

The IG committee unanimously selected Dillard, who will take over in June when Inspector General John Carey retires. Inspector general, Palm Beach County.

Initially, the panel selected four finalists. Matthew Dove, with the U.S. Department of Energy, withdrew, and Anthony Zakel, formerly with the U.S. International Development Finance Corp., was unavailable until April because of a medical issue, Palm Beach County recruitment manager Paul Mattedo said.

Panelists filled out paper ballots and committee member and former Lake Worth Beach Mayor Rodney Romano counted the votes.

“I thought they were both highly, highly qualified,” Romano said after announcing Dillard as the appointee.

DOJ Inspector General Exposes More FBI Corruption

The corruption that is our own federal government is so deep and so immense that I don’t know that we’ll ever be able to undo it. If we can, it is going to take decades to do so.

Even our agencies that are supposed to be neutral have become weaponized by Democrats and beyond that have seemingly become entirely incompetent to do their jobs effectively. I would suspect that’s because they are liberals and for some reason are unable to think logically about, well, anything.

During a recent testimony before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance, Michael Horowitz, the Department of Justice the Inspector General, revealed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has conducted 3.4 million warrantless “backdoor searches” of American citizens’ communications. These searches are performed as part of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), which was designed to safeguard the country from terrorist and foreign espionage threats.

I think all complainants should be identified and no one should be investigated based on an anonymous complaint.

The Inspector General found the accusations were not supported. But the report did uncover some very concerning information. The audit looked at overnight travel and discretionary spending for the city manager, commissioners and mayor from 2017-2019.

Trey Gowdy to represent Trump?

Democrats are racing against time to wrap up their impeachment inquiry before the calendar turns to 2020 and the Presidential race takes over. Trey has to wait until the first of the year to represent the President because of lobbyist rules.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz wrote to congressional leaders with an update on his investigation into alleged abuses of warrants obtained under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
