Discharged Marine running for Congress in Florida calls for Trump to be killed in social media video

A medically discharged Marine running as a Republican write-in candidate for Florida's 5th Congressional District posted a nearly seven-minute video to social media calling President Donald Trump "the anti-Christ" who "must be killed", drawing swift condemnation from both the Marine Corps and the acting Secretary of the Navy.

William Upham, who was medically discharged from the Marine Corps on May 30, 2025, appeared in the video wearing his Marine uniform. He posted it to X on July 14, the New York Post reported. Upham did not immediately respond to the Post's request for comment.

The video arrived against a backdrop the country should not have to keep tallying: three assassination attempts against President Trump in the last two years, plus the assassination of Charlie Kirk last September.

That a congressional candidate, even a write-in with no apparent institutional backing, would record himself in uniform calling for the president's death marks a line that used to be unthinkable in American politics.

When "he must be killed" stops triggering consequences, the oath Upham violated won't be the only one that's broken.

That Upham chose to deliver these statements while wearing his Marine uniform is not a minor detail. The uniform carries weight. It communicates authority, discipline, and service to the nation. Upham was medically discharged more than a year before he posted the video. He no longer served. He no longer held the rank. Yet he dressed the part while calling for the death of the commander-in-chief.

South Carolina Dem Gubernatorial Candidate Goes on WILD Tirade As He’s Arrested in His Underwear

A police video has emerged showing a South Carolina Democrat running for governor getting arrested in his underwear and going on an insane tirade that must be seen to be believed.

As WCBD reported, 53-year-old William “Mullins” McLeod was arrested back on May 15 after he was found “yelling at the top of his lungs” while walking in downtown Charleston. At the time of his arrest, He was wearing only underwear and shoes.

The Charleston Police Department released video of the arrest on August 12 following a Freedom of Information request. The video, which is approximately one hour long, shows McLeod screaming at the top of his lungs, hurling the n-word, and even comparing himself to God and Superman at various points.

“I’m one of the most just humans to ever walk this soil,” he says at one point while sitting in the police car. “I’m Superman, godd*mn it.”
