Mamdani official scheduled a meeting with Iran's Ambassador

State Department blocks Mamdani official's planned sit-down with Iran's UN ambassador

The Trump administration shut down a planned meeting between a senior New York City official and Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, the second time in recent weeks federal authorities have had to intervene over the Mamdani administration's freelance contacts with foreign leaders.

Commissioner Ana MarĂa Archila, who leads Mayor Zohran Mamdani's Office of International Affairs, had scheduled a sit-down with Amir-Saeid Iravani, Iran's permanent representative to the UN, Fox News Digital reported. Once the State Department learned of the plan, the meeting was called off. Federal officials then met with Mamdani administration staff to spell out what conduct is and isn't acceptable.

Mamdani, New York City's newly elected mayor, told reporters at a Friday press conference that he had no idea the meeting was in the works until a journalist asked about it.
"That meeting did not take place, it will not take place and I did not know about it until there was a press inquiry regarding it."
When pressed on whether he would have supported such a meeting, Mamdani cut the exchange short: "I've said that that meeting will not be taking place. Thank you all very much."

Our U.N Ambassador quizzed by NBC host on Iran

Mike Waltz fires back at NBC host pressing on Iran: 'President Trump is ending it

' United Nations Ambassador Mike Waltz delivered a pointed rebuke to "Meet the Press" host Kristen Welker on Sunday after she repeatedly pressed him on whether the United States was "at war" with Iran. She kept asking.

Waltz refused to play the semantic game, redirecting the conversation to the decades of American blood spilled by Iranian proxies and the administration's resolve to finally end the threat.

The exchange came days after President Donald Trump announced in a video posted to Truth Social early Feb. 28 that the United States military and Israel Defense Forces had launched strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran's regime. Six American service members were killed on March 1 when an Iranian strike hit a technical operations center in Kuwait.

Welker opened by framing the question around language, telling Waltz that "words matter" and asking whether the Trump administration described its operations as a war against Iran. Waltz didn't bite.

The framing of Welker's question is worth pausing on. The implication was clear: pin the administration down with a single word so it can be weaponized in the next news cycle.

If Waltz says "war," Democrats get a talking point about unilateral escalation. If he says it's not a war, the press gets to call the strikes disproportionate to whatever lesser term he uses. It's a familiar trap, and Waltz walked right past it.

Trump's response to Australia's Ambassador

Former Prime Minister and now Ambassador to the U.S.

Trump’s Hilarious Takedown of Rude Ambassador Is Everything!

In a moment of pure, unscripted political theater that showcased his signature combination of wit and strength, President Donald J. Trump masterfully turned a diplomatic setting into a powerful lesson on loyalty and respect.

During a bilateral meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, a reporter attempted to dredge up a years-old, derogatory comment made by the current Australian Ambassador to the United States, Kevin Rudd. Rather than sidestepping the issue, President Trump confronted it head-on, delivering a response so savagely honest and hilarious that it left the entire room in stitches and the ambassador utterly humiliated.

The scene unfolded during a question-and-answer session, where an Australian reporter presented President Trump with Ambassador Rudd’s past inflammatory remarks. In 2020, Rudd had taken to social media to label President Trump the “most destructive” president in American history and “a traitor to the West.”

Instead of offering a dry, diplomatic rebuttal, President Trump demonstrated his flawless command of the room. With perfect comedic timing and a tone of genuine bemusement, he responded, “I don’t know anything about him. If he said something bad, maybe he’d like to apologize.” He then turned to Prime Minister Albanese and asked, “Did an ambassador say something bad about me? Don’t tell me! Where is he? Is he still working for you?”

When President Trump directly confronted Rudd, who was seated in the room, the ambassador offered a weak, excuse-laden justification, stammering, “Before I took this position, Mr. President.”

“I don’t like you either, and I probably never will!” The room immediately erupted in roaring laughter, validating the President’s bold and unapologetic stance.

This exchange was far more than just a moment of comedy; it was a profound demonstration of President Trump’s refusal to abide by the hypocritical norms of the global elite.

Examination of both motives and narratives of Ambassador is in Order

Leaked Video Shows Foreign Leader Talking Crap About Trump, He’s Scared

On January 19, 2025, reports surfaced regarding a leaked diplomatic cable from Andreas Michaelis, German Ambassador to the United States. These leaks have exposed Michaelis as an alleged false friend, critiquing the newly-elected US President, Donald J. Trump.

Trump’s second term as President has sparked global geopolitical reactions, and it’s becoming evident who truly stands with him and who does not. In these turbulent political waters, alliances are tested, and the true colors of purported allies, such as the German Ambassador, are being revealed.

In the incriminating cable reportedly written by Michaelis, the Ambassador expresses concerns over what he perceives as threats to US democracy under Trump’s leadership. According to the widely circulated document shared among German media outlets like Deutsche Welle and Bild, Michaelis asserts that this administration represents severe threats to the constitutional democratic checks and balances that define the United States.

It’s worth noting how quickly these internal communications found their way to mass media, suggesting an orchestrated effort to emphasize turmoil rather than unity.

The German Ambassador’s message alleges that, in his view, Trump’s policies aim to undermine democratic principles, suggestively manipulating institutions like law enforcement, the legislature, and the media for political gain.

Furthermore, the cable insinuates that the administration will empower ‘big tech’ as co-governing authorities, a claim resonating with barely concealed skepticism toward the US’s technological sector and its role in future governance.

Hunter Biden questions are taboo at Foreign Relations Committee

Panic Breaks Out In Senate After Ted Cruz Exposes Biden's Crimes On The Floor

Tensions were high between New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz as the two clashed during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on an ambassador nominee. Cruz accused Shaheen of “covering” for President Joe Biden after she prevented nominee George Kent from answering his questions.

Kent was nominated by President Joe Biden in March to serve as ambassador to Estonia and appeared before the committee for his confirmation hearing on Wednesday morning. During the hearing, Cruz asked Kent if he had been instructed not to answer certain questions or provide certain documents related to his previous testimony about Hunter Biden's work in Ukraine — but Shaheen interjected, saying that those questions were outside of the scope of what they were debating and would not be allowed at this hearing.

Cruz then pressed her on whether she was preventing Kent from answering because it could be damaging to President Joe Biden, which prompted an angry retort from Shaheen who shot back, “That is outrageous!” She went on to say that she prevented him from answering because the question wasn't relevant to his confirmation hearing and that it was simply meant to be a way for Republicans to “score political points” against Democrats and their agenda.

NO Quid pro Quo

No, Gordon Sondland Did Not Prove Ukraine ‘Quid pro Quo’

"Democrats are now claiming that in Gordon Sondland has now confirmed there was a quid pro quo deal between President Trump and President Zelensky of Ukraine. But, in fact, he did not. What he did say was that the money was being held up and because he did not know why he assumed it was because of the anti-corruption investigation once the first part of September rolled around. No investigation was started but President Trump released the money in September when it became apparent that no other country was going to aid Ukraine.

Sondland did not say there was a quid pro quo deal. What he said was that he assumed there was and that he notified Ukrainian officials of what he thought. President Trump had said he was holding up the money to try to force other countries to contribute, too. When they didn’t, he released the money. Ukrainian officials said there was no deal and that they didn’t know the money was being withheld until 5 weeks after the phone call."

Trump picks Lana Marks as Ambassador to South Africa

Not my favorite person, but at least she was born in South Africa.

My blog of October 20 about Mrs. Marks.

Lana Marks of Palm Beach in consideration as Ambassador to South Africa

Mar-a-Lago member Lana Marks headed to South Africa post?

Well, let's hope not. I can't imagine that Lana Marks who I thought was much older than myself at the time, is any nicer now than she was decades ago when I took a job with her and left after one day, although people can change! I was hired to be her executive assistant. It was my shortest job in history and one of my better decisions to leave immediately. I told her not to pay me for that one day and she complied.

"In more than a dozen past lawsuits against her in Aspen, New York, California and South Florida, Marks has repeatedly been accused of stiffing her attorneys, accountants, landlords and employees. She is also embroiled in bitter, international legal battles in South Africa and Israel with her siblings over a family trust and the care for their 89-year-old mother."

President Trump, I implore you to reconsider Mrs. Marks as ambassador to South Africa.

Read this article on Lana who had several obsessions: with her relationship with Princes Diana, her micro-management at her corporate headquarters and her lack of trust for any of her employees.

$400 million transfer to Iran blocked

‘This is huge’: US Ambassador Grenell quietly blocks $400 million transfer from Germany to Iran

A transfer of nearly $400 million in cash to Iran has been blocked by Germany’s central bank in what appears to be a response to efforts by the U.S. ambassador to Germany.

Last month, Ambassador Richard Grenell urged Berlin to prevent Iran’s withdrawal of large sums of cash from German bank accounts in an effort to offset U.S. sanctions that took effect following Washington’s withdrawal from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

Our ambassador to Germany stopped Iran from getting the cash

US Ambassador to Germany stopped Iran from withdrawing $400 million in cash from a German bank. Now, return it to the US, where it came from

Remember when Obama gave Iran $400 million from our Treasury as a bribe? $400 million was the first cash payment, which was followed by several more cash payments totaling $1.3 billion.

Subsequent to Iran receiving the cash from the Obama administration, they have used some of the $1.7 billion for Iranian-backed terrorists.

Former POTUS’ Own Russian Ambassador May Have A Connection To Lawyer Who Setup Trump JR

"Natalia Veselnitskaya was the Russian Lawyer who set up Donald Trump Jr. in the infamous Trump Tower meeting. She has a nasty way of showing up at the most coincidental places. Before and after the meeting, she met with Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS.

Also the company Hillary hired to write a fake dossier. She also came into the United States through a special visa from the DOJ. Why? They won’t say. But it is known she could not have entered the United States in the usual way." [Steadfast and Loyal]

Quote of the Day - Nikki Haley

“In addition to these significant cost savings, we reduced the UN’s bloated management and support functions, bolstered support for key U.S. priorities throughout the world, and instilled more discipline and accountability throughout the UN system.

The inefficiency and overspending of the United Nations are well known. We will no longer let the generosity of the American people be taken advantage of or remain unchecked.”

~ Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley

On Christmas Eve, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley announced that starting in 2018, America would reduce its annual contribution to the U.N. by at least $285 million.
