Protesting Netanyahu, Arrests at the United Nations for Blocking road

Socialist congressional nominee arrested at anti-Netanyahu protest near United Nations

Darializa Avila Chevalier, the Democratic Socialists of America-backed nominee for a New York congressional seat, was arrested Thursday outside the United Nations after blocking a Manhattan roadway during a protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one of more than 100 demonstrators taken into custody by the NYPD.

The demonstration, timed to coincide with Netanyahu's address to the UN General Assembly, drew roughly 250 people. By the time officers finished clearing the avenue, 104 had been arrested, according to the New York Post.

Avila Chevalier, 32, is the Democratic nominee for New York's 13th Congressional District, which covers Upper Manhattan and parts of the Bronx. She won the seat's June primary by unseating five-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat.

Avila Chevalier was far from the only prominent figure hauled away. Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon, Emmy winner Hannah Einbinder, and whistleblower Chelsea Manning were all among those arrested, the Post reported. New York City Council members Chi Ossé, Alexa Avilés, and Jennifer Gutiérrez were also taken into custody.

Netanyahu speaks truth and facts at United Nations

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised President Donald Trump's "bold leadership" in a speech before the United Nations on Thursday

He credited the president and the United States with playing a decisive role alongside Israel in confronting Iran and crippling its military and nuclear capabilities

Speaking before the U.N. General Assembly in New York, Netanyahu portrayed the U.S.-Israel partnership as essential to stopping what he described as an existential danger posed by Tehran.

"In this battle against the barbarians, we've had no greater partner than President Trump," Netanyahu said. "I thank him. I thank him for his bold leadership."

Netanyahu said Trump recognized the danger posed by Iran's leadership and was prepared to act rather than allow Tehran's capabilities to grow unchecked.

It was a disgrace that over 100 individuals from scores of delegations of the assembly walked out as well as those silly fools prostesting in front of the United Nations waving their Palestinian and Iranian flags. These people live among us!

International diplomatic bodies and legal frameworks treat Palestine as a recognized political entity and a non-member observer state at the United Nations, rather than a terrorist state. However, individual factions involved in political violence and attacks against civilians and military targets have formal terrorism designations.

Netanyahu condemned Mamdani for spreading baseless lies and condemned the fake news media. It was a great speech.

Plan for Disarming Hamas

The Board of Peace for Gaza has published the full text of its “roadmap” for disarming Hamas

accomplishing the goals of President Donald Trump's peace agreement

Principle #1: All parties reaffirm their commitment to President Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to achieve peace in Gaza, which constitutes, together with the UN Security Council Resolution no. 2803 (2025), the agreed upon international framework guiding the implementation of this process.

Through this process, the parties aim at ending the cycle of destruction, securing the complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza Strip, restoring normal life, enabling Palestinian governance, reconstruction, security, recovery and economic development, rehabilitating damaged sectors and facilitate launching a credible political path that achieves self-determination and Statehood.

Mamdani wants to arrest Netanyahu 🤡

Mamdani Can't Arrest Netanyahu. But He Is Targeting All Jews.

On Saturday, the mayor of New York said the prime minister of the Jewish state belongs in a jail cell. Zohran Mamdani told the New York Times that Benjamin Netanyahu "belongs in the Hague."

He called him "a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court," and confirmed that his administration is working out whether it can arrest the Israeli leader when he comes to New York for the United Nations in September.

Netanyahu's office answered on Sunday. The ICC is "a kangaroo court that has no jurisdiction over Americans or Israelis," it said, and the warrant is "bogus."

A mayor cannot arrest a foreign head of government, and Mamdani knows it. He said so himself in the next breath, promising he "won't be writing our own laws." The warrant he wants to serve comes from a court his own party's president called outrageous, and it was written by a prosecutor the court is voting to remove this week. Of every leader on earth, he reached for the one who runs the world's only Jewish state.

The United States is not a member of the ICC. A mayor cannot arrest a prime minister.

Foreign leaders who come to New York for the United Nations are protected by the 1947 treaty that lets the U.N. operate on American soil. A sitting head of government carries immunity. And a city has no power to override the federal government on foreign affairs, which is why the whole idea falls apart the moment anyone reads the law.

Even his own party sees it. Fetterman called the threat a stunt: "He's just a clown 🤡 to even say that.

Iran is violating International Law

US Proposes UN Security Council Resolution to Reopen Strait of Hormuz

Rubio said he is unsure whether the resolution can survive a permanent veto from Russia or China.

The United States, with its Gulf partners, is proposing a United Nations Security Council resolution to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, according to the State Department.

The resolution was drafted with Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a press statement on May 5. It calls on Iran to cease attacking ships, laying mines, and trying to charge tolls in the Strait, which is classified as an international waterway.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to hold the world’s economy hostage with its efforts to close the Strait of Hormuz, threats to attack ships in the Strait, laying of sea mines that pose a danger to shipping, and attempts to charge tolls for the world’s most important waterway,” Rubio said.

He added that the draft resolution “demands that Iran disclose the number and location of the sea mines it has laid and cooperate with efforts to remove them, while also supporting the establishment of a humanitarian corridor.”

United Nations Votes on stabilization of Gaza

Israeli leader insists there can be no Palestinian state

TEL AVIV, Israel — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Sunday to oppose any attempt to establish a Palestinian state, a day before the U.N. Security Council planned to vote on a U.S.-drafted resolution on Gaza that leaves the door open to Palestinian independence.

Netanyahu has long asserted that creating a Palestinian state would reward Hamas and eventually lead to an even larger Hamas-run state on Israel’s borders. But as the U.S. attempts to push forward with its Gaza ceasefire proposal, he faces heavy international pressure to show flexibility.(Hope he doesn't)

The Security Council is expected to vote on a U.S. proposal for a U.N. mandate that would establish an international stabilization force in Gaza despite opposition from Russia, China and some Arab countries.

Hamas and Palestinian factions warned Sunday against the U.S. proposal, calling it an attempt to impose an international mandate on Gaza that is biased toward Israel and deprives Palestinians of the right to manage their own affairs. In a statement, the groups said the force must not involve Israel and must be under direct U.N. supervision.

The statement also rejected any reference in the U.S. proposal to disarming Gaza. Netanyahu on Sunday noted the proposal calls for Gaza to be demilitarized and Hamas to be disarmed, telling his Cabinet: “Either this will happen the easy way, or it will happen the hard way."

The United States plan for Gaza was passed by the United Nations on Monday. The 15-member council voted 13 to 0 in favor of the resolution, with abstentions by Russia and China, which declined to use their veto power to block the measure.

"Move the United Nations to Ghana"

VDH: Trump should consider evicting the 'irrelevant' U.N. from New York

'I think he should say, 'You know what. Put it in Ghana or maybe, I don't know, Peru or somewhere''

On Fox Business Friday, Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Victor Davis Hanson called on President Donald Trump to reassess the United Nations' (U.N.'s) role and presence in the United States.

In an op-ed, Hanson said that the United Nations has become as ineffective and compromised as the defunct League of Nations, with only Trump willing to confront global crises head-on. Speaking on "The Bottom Line," Hanson said it may be time to relocate the institution and reexamine America's financial commitment to global bureaucracies.

"I think we've got to cut back on all of the so-called refugee relief funds. And we've got out of most of them. And we've got out a lot of the spinoffs, like the WHO and other criminal courts," Hanson said. "But I think Trump should have a serious conversation whether you even want the U.N. headquarters in New York. Because for half the membership, that's the only time they ever vote in a democratic fashion."

A Gallup poll in September shows 63% of U.S. adults believe the U.N. is doing a poor job.

Trump Official attacked at UN

Trump Official Assaulted at UN by Pro-Palestinian Protester

A crazed lefty protester assaulted a senior advisor to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the United Nations this week, chasing her around the lobby and into a bathroom stall, screaming “slut!,” law enforcement sources said.

The unhinged encounter happened around 2 p.m. Thursday when Patricia Schuh, 62, allegedly shined a bright light in Sara Kennedy’s face while yelling “Free Palestine!” and pro-LGBT screeds and began chasing her across the lobby, the sources said.

Kennedy — who is not related to her boss at HHS — “ran to the bathroom then a bathroom stall to avoid Patricia but she followed her into the stall and scratched her right eye, possibly with her phone or jewelry,” the sources said.

The stunned staffer was treated by Emergency Medical Services at the scene and refused hospital treatment.

Schuh, who was allegedly filming Kennedy on her phone as she chased her, was charged with assault and harassment, the sources said.

"It's time to end the failed experiment of open borders"

Trump Blasts United Nations for ‘Funding an Assault on Western Countries and Borders’ with Mass Migration

The United Nations is “funding an assault on Western countries,” President Donald Trump said to the U.N. annual convention on Tuesday.

In his address, the president accused weak western nations of destroying their own countries through mass migration with the U.N. playing a central role.

“The number one political issue of our time [is] the crisis of uncontrolled migration,” he exclaimed. “Your countries are being ruined,” he added. “The United Nations is funding an assault on western countries and their borders.

The president then laid out the material support that the United Nations gave to these invading illegals who flooded border by the hundreds of millions all across the world.

“In 2024, the U.N. budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support… migrants journeying into the United States,” the president said from the podium. “The U.N. also provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit cards to illegal aliens on the way to infiltrate our southern border.”

“What took place is totally unacceptable. The U.N. is supposed to stop invasions, not create them and not finance them,” he continued. “In the United States we reject the idea that mass numbers of people from foreign lands can be permitted to travel halfway around the world, trample our borders, violate our sovereignty, cause unmitigated crime, and deplete our social safety nets. We have reasserted that America belongs to the American people. And I encourage all countries to take their own stance in defense of their citizens, as well.”

Iran says the U.S., will have everlasting consequences

Iran Warns US Strikes to Have 'Everlasting Consequences'

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned Sunday morning of “everlasting consequences” after US President Donald Trump announced that the American military had carried out a “successful attack” on the Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear sites in Iran.

The United States “has committed a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT [the international Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty] by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations,” Iran’s top diplomat wrote on X.

“The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences,” Araghchi said. He added: “In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people.”

Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations called on Sunday for an emergency Security Council meeting for what he described as America’s “heinous attacks and illegal use of force” against Iran.

In a letter obtained by the AP, Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani said that the UN’s most powerful body must “take all necessary measures” to hold the US accountable under international law and the UN charter.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns and denounces in the strongest possible terms these unprovoked and premeditated acts of aggression, which have followed the large-scale military attack conducted by the Israeli regime on 13 June against Iran’s peaceful nuclear sites and facilities,” the letter said.

The UN refuses to condemn Hamas for hiding hostages in civilian spaces

Surprise! Released female hostages were being held captive in U.N. compounds

Interrogated terrorists admit use of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza as Hamas headquarters

JERUSALEM – News emerged on Wednesday of the three female former Israeli hostages being held for at least part of the time during their 471 days in Gaza captivity in United Nations shelters, as if the timing could not have more perfectly underscored U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order to defund UNRWA.

The accusation once again raises the specter of the United Nations being indivisible from the terrorist groups dominating the Gaza Strip, and is another nail in the coffin of legitimacy, which has consistently worn away at global bodies and humanitarian NGOs, which have parroted Hamas talking points and statistics.

Inside the hospital, terrorists distributed grenades and mortars, along with equipment for ambushing IDF troops and tanks, according to Fox News Digital.

UNRWA , conduit for terrorism

U.N. goes silent on report about its collaboration with Islamists

JERUSALEM – "The new year has brought no respite for the United Nations and its various agencies – especially UNRWA – with regard to the hits, which keep coming, emphasizing its deep ties with Islamist terrorist organizations, according to a recently published report by U.N. Watch.

The explosive report reveals years of coordination and close collaboration between Islamists and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, up to and including the collusion of at least its two most recent commissioners-general – current head Phillippe Lazzarini, and previous chief Pierre Krähenbühl, who held the role from 2014-2019.

Our report in NY Post: "We are calling on the new Trump administration to impose crippling sanctions on terrorist-infested UNRWA and its leaders, and to pursue legal action to hold them accountable in a court of law for enabling crimes against humanity."

"People need to understand that UNRWA isn't the firefighter, it's the arsonist. The U.S. and other Western nations who have given billions to UNRWA need to wake up.. Your money is being used to employ terrorists, indoctrinate children, and build the infrastructure of hate and violence. The U.S. alone has given more than $1 billion to UNRWA over the past four years. This is a betrayal of your taxpayers and your values," said Hillel Neuer."

Hillel Neuer is a Canadian-born international lawyer and human rights activist who is the executive director of UN Watch. He is a critic of the UN's human rights councils and a defender of Israel, and has represented victims of various abuses around the world. (Wikipedia)

"Enough is enough," said Netanyahu

Netanyahu Says Israel Seeks Peace but Fighting for Life

Benjamin Netanyahu gave a great speech at the United Nations.

His leadership strained by conflicts on two fronts, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told world leaders at the United Nations on Friday that his nation will “continue degrading Hezbollah" until it achieves its goals along the Lebanon border, further dimming hopes for an internationally backed cease-fire to halt the spiral into an all-out regional war. He said his government would no longer tolerate daily rocket fire from the area.

“Israel has every right to remove this threat and return our citizens to their home safely. And that’s exactly what we’re doing ... we’ll continue degrading Hezbollah until all our objectives are met," Netanyahu said.

“Just imagine if terrorists turned El Paso and San Diego into ghost towns ... How long would the American government tolerate that?" he said, shaking his fist in emphasis. “Yet Israel has been tolerating this intolerable situation for almost a year. Well, I’ve come here today to say: Enough is enough.”

Argentine President Javier Milei expressed total support for Israel

President Milei of Argentina Condemns UN for Anti-Israel Bias

Milei denounces the UN’s stance on Israel while pledging unwavering support for the Jewish state

In a powerful address at the United Nations General Assembly, Argentine President Javier Milei sharply criticized the international body for its persistent bias against Israel.

Speaking at the 79th session in New York, Milei, a staunch supporter of the Jewish state, condemned the UN for consistently voting against Israel, “the only democracy in the Middle East, which protects liberal democracy,” he declared.

The libertarian leader further rebuked the UN for its inability to tackle global terrorism. “In this same house that purports to defend human rights, we have also included bloody dictatorships in the Human Rights Council, including Cuba and Venezuela, without reproach,” Milei remarked, highlighting what he sees as hypocrisy within the international organization.

Israel targeted by the United Nations

UN places Israel on blacklist for ‘harming children’ in Gaza war

Israel’s inclusion ‘list of shame’ marks the first time a democratic country is represented on the blacklist.

Of course, it's war, right? Innocents get killed in war. If we worried about that in World War II, we would be a totally different world today and speaking German.

"UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has announced his final decision to place Israel on a blacklist of countries that cause significant harm to children in conflict zones.

This list also includes ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram."

At the rate Israel is going to annihilate Hamas, Hamas will come out as a hero in this war as no one is acknowledging that on October 7, they killed 1,200 of Israelis which included children and the draft list of shame made no mention of the fact that Hamas has used children and hostages as human shields.

All of a sudden, evil is being over-looked by the U.N.

Some of us have suspicions about the United Nations, a mostly advisory organization, as the path to a “one-world government”.

The idea of a single governing body able to understand and address each country’s needs and aspirations has proved to be an illusion. To a much smaller degree, it sort of reminds me of the Southern Poverty Law Center (a big hate group) putting Conservatives on their hate group list.

Biden's Position on Israel

The United Nations Security Council voted 14-0 in favor of a resolution demanding a cease-fire in Gaza for the rest of Ramadan. The United States abstained from the vote, clearing the way for the measure to pass.

The U.S. decision to abstain drew a swift response from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who cancelled a visit by an Israeli delegation that had been set to travel to Washington, D.C., for talks on Israel's planned military operation in Rafah, in southern Gaza.

United Nations behind the Strategic Engineered Migration at our Border

Former Panama Border Chief: UN Is Behind the Chaos at U.S.–Mexico Border

Panama’s former SENAFRONT director says the U.N. and its nonprofit partners made mass migration worse when they moved into his country.

The former director of Panama’s border patrol told The Epoch Times that the United Nations’ migration agenda is behind the chaos at the U.S. southern border and that U.N. partners are making things worse instead of better.

Oriel Ortega, now a security and defense consultant to Panamanian President Laurentino Cortizo, said during a Feb. 22 interview that he saw a jump in migration in 2016, at the same time that more nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) moved into Panama.

That increase corresponded with the U.N.’s Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration meeting in 2016. Two years later, 152 nations—including Panama—voted in favor of the compact to manage global migration. The United States voted against it...(under Trump.)

Nearly $1.3 billion of U.S. taxpayer money was given to the U.N. and other agencies assisting migrants in 2023, under Biden, according to a government spending database.

So, we have been funding our own demise.

United Nations (UNRWA) involved in October 7 helping Hamas

30 UNRWA employees participated in Oct. 7 terror

Israel first reported in January that 12 UNRWA employees had taken part in the Oct. 7 attacks.

By Andrew Bernard, JNS

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, told journalists that the Jewish state has intelligence showing that 30 employees of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) took part in Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel.

The minister shared the names and photos of 12 UNRWA employees, whom Israel had previously said took part in the Oct. 7 attack, in the press briefing. The 12 include Faisal al-Naami, an UNRWA social worker who Israel says was visually identified in Israeli territory on Oct. 7 and was involved in kidnapping a soldier from the town of Be’eri.
