Hegseth and Mark Kelly spar over remarks

Hegseth Slams Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly Over Remarks on Classified Briefing Amid Growing War Concerns

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Sunday accused Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) of improperly discussing sensitive information from a classified Pentagon briefing during a national television appearance, raising questions about whether the Arizona lawmaker crossed a legal line.

In a sharply worded post on X, Hegseth did not hold back. Referring to Kelly’s military background, he wrote, “‘Captain’ Mark Kelly strikes again,” before accusing the senator of “babbling on TV (falsely & dumbly)” about a classified briefing he had received. Hegseth went further, suggesting the matter could carry legal implications.

“Did he violate his oath…again?” Hegseth asked, adding that the Department of War’s legal counsel would review the situation.

The controversy stems from an interview Kelly gave earlier Sunday on Face the Nation with moderator Margaret Brennan. According to Brennan, Kelly referenced a classified Pentagon briefing related to the ongoing Iran war, specifically discussing its impact on U.S. weapons stockpiles.

She highlighted his remark that it was “shocking how deep we have gone into these magazines,” suggesting a significant drawdown of munitions.

The American people are less safe,” he said during the interview, arguing that depleted munitions could leave the United States vulnerable in other potential conflicts, including in the Western Pacific or elsewhere.

Hegseth’s response underscores a different concern—whether public discussion of such matters, especially if tied to classified briefings, risks exposing sensitive information. His call for a legal review signals that the administration is taking the issue seriously.

Washington DC totally armed

President Trump Orders All DC Guard Members Be Armed

The War Department confirmed Tuesday that every National Guard member patrolling Washington, D.C., is now fully armed. This crucial decision protects our deployed troops and aligns with the Trump administration’s commitment to Law and Order missions.

War Department press secretary Kingsley Wilson confirmed the essential safety measure. Wilson told reporters during a morning press conference, “I can confirm that everybody in D.C. is now armed.”

She added that many Guard troops are now conducting joint patrols alongside local police. Wilson confirmed, "Their safety, of course, is top of mind, and we will continue to make sure they're able to do their jobs in keeping all of our great Americans safe across our country.”

Immigration Judges Fired

Trump Fires 8 NYC Immigration Judges

The Trump administration appeared to be unmoved by a discrimination suit filed Monday by an Ohio judge when later that day it let go eight immigration judges in Manhattan.

The judges who worked out of 26 Federal Plaza in lower Manhattan were terminated, according to an official in the National Association of Immigration Judges.

Earlier Monday, Tania Nemer sued the Justice Department on the grounds she was terminated from her post as an Ohio immigration judge because of her gender, a citizen of Lebanon and was a Democratic candidate for local office.

About 200 immigration judges have resigned or been let go as part of the Department of Government Efficiency’s effort to trim inefficiencies and spending by encouraging federal employees to leave their jobs. Roughly 100 of those were fired, the NAIJ official said.

The judges were terminated despite a backlog of 3.4 million immigration cases in the federal system, according to Syracuse University’s TRAC Reports.

The War Department said in September it planned to send 600 military lawyers to serve temporarily as immigration judges — but so far only 25 have gone through the required training and have begun hearing cases, the NAIJ official said.

Just 11 new permanent judges have been installed, despite Congress creating 800 federal immigration judiciary jobs as part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

"F-those guys," says Democrat hater

Senator Erupts in Profane Rant Over Pentagon Investigation: ‘F— Those Guys!’

In a shocking display of unprofessionalism and contempt for the chain of command, Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona erupted in a profanity-laced tirade, directly attacking President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

This meltdown was triggered by the Department of War’s rightful decision to launch an investigation into his colleague, Senator Mark Kelly, for what appears to be a blatant attempt to incite insubordination within the United States military.

The Department of War is investigating Senator Kelly, a retired Naval Captain, after he and five other Democratic lawmakers released a video message telling active-duty service members they have a “duty” to disobey what they vaguely termed “illegal” orders from their Commander-in-Chief, President Trump.

This dangerous and seditious rhetoric, disguised as a public service announcement, is a clear effort to undermine the lawful authority of the presidency and poison the morale of our armed forces.

Military to get major Barracks Upgrade

Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth unveils barracks improvement initiative

Hold onto your helmets, folks -- War Secretary Pete Hegseth just dropped a bombshell for our brave service members with a bold plan to overhaul military housing, as The Hill reports.

During a rousing speech to fresh recruits at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia, Hegseth announced the formation of a "barracks task force" to tackle substandard living conditions, backed by over a billion dollars from President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act, and spurred by a damning 2023 Government Accountability Office report on the issue.

Let’s rewind a bit to that GAO report from 2023, which laid bare a harsh reality for hundreds of thousands of service members stuck in barracks plagued by sewage overflows and broken fire systems.

It’s not just about creaky beds -- these conditions threaten safety and morale. The report even noted some housing fails to meet basic Department of Defense standards for privacy and basic amenities.

Speaking directly to the recruits, Hegseth drove home the stakes: “Barracks are where warriors go to rest and recover, a place to go to mentally and physically prepare for winning the next fight.” That’s not just rhetoric; it’s a mission statement. If we can’t provide that sanctuary, we’re failing the very ethos of military service.

Secretary Hegseth Summons Global Military Leaders to End Woke Policies and Restore Combat Standards

War Sec. Hegseth to Military Brass: 'Preparing for War and Preparing to Win'

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, addressing a gathering of 800 admirals and generals at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia on Tuesday, said the United States must refocus its military on planning for war and declared that the "era of the Department of Defense is over."

"From this moment forward, the only mission of the newly restored Department of War is this: warfighting, preparing for war, and preparing to win," Hegseth said. "Not because we want war. No one here wants war, but it's because we love peace. We love peace for our fellow citizens. They deserve peace, and they rightfully expect us to deliver it."

Hegseth announced new directives aimed at overhauling discipline and culture, including returning combat arms standards to "the highest male standard only," requiring fitness tests modeled on the Marine Corps program, and mandating that all troops pass physical and weight checks twice a year.

"This administration has done a great deal from day one to remove the social justice, politically correct, and toxic ideological garbage that had infected our department — to rip out the politics," he said.

"No more identity months, DEI offices, dudes in dresses, no more climate change worship, no more division, distraction, or gender delusions. … We are done with that."

Trump Brings Back the Department of War

Trump Made One Change to the Pentagon That Has America Thinking Like Winners Again

The Pentagon has been playing defense for way too long.

For decades, our military brass got comfortable with the idea that America’s job was just to react to threats instead of eliminating them.

But Trump just signed one executive order that brings back the mindset that won us two world wars.

President Donald Trump signed his 200th executive order Friday, and this one’s going to drive the Left absolutely crazy.

He’s officially restoring the historic name "Department of War" to what’s been called the Department of Defense since 1949.

The order makes "Department of War" a secondary title for the Pentagon, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will now also carry the title "Secretary of War."
