Hegseth and Mark Kelly spar over remarks

Hegseth Slams Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly Over Remarks on Classified Briefing Amid Growing War Concerns

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on Sunday accused Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) of improperly discussing sensitive information from a classified Pentagon briefing during a national television appearance, raising questions about whether the Arizona lawmaker crossed a legal line.

In a sharply worded post on X, Hegseth did not hold back. Referring to Kelly’s military background, he wrote, “‘Captain’ Mark Kelly strikes again,” before accusing the senator of “babbling on TV (falsely & dumbly)” about a classified briefing he had received. Hegseth went further, suggesting the matter could carry legal implications.

“Did he violate his oath…again?” Hegseth asked, adding that the Department of War’s legal counsel would review the situation.

The controversy stems from an interview Kelly gave earlier Sunday on Face the Nation with moderator Margaret Brennan. According to Brennan, Kelly referenced a classified Pentagon briefing related to the ongoing Iran war, specifically discussing its impact on U.S. weapons stockpiles.

She highlighted his remark that it was “shocking how deep we have gone into these magazines,” suggesting a significant drawdown of munitions.

The American people are less safe,” he said during the interview, arguing that depleted munitions could leave the United States vulnerable in other potential conflicts, including in the Western Pacific or elsewhere.

Hegseth’s response underscores a different concern—whether public discussion of such matters, especially if tied to classified briefings, risks exposing sensitive information. His call for a legal review signals that the administration is taking the issue seriously.

Mike Huckabee on Mark Kelly

Ah Oh

FACING CONSEQUENCES

"In November, six Democrat Congress members who are military veterans released a video urging active-duty troops to refuse to obey “illegal orders” – although when pressed, they couldn’t specify any orders President Trump has given that are illegal.

Trump called it traitorous, and other critics said they were trying to encourage troops to refuse to obey orders for political reasons.

One of them is now learning that there are consequences for such actions. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that Sen. Mark Kelly is facing a “retirement grade determination” for his “seditious statements” and “pattern of reckless misconduct.”

If approved, Kelly could see both his rank and retirement pay reduced. The reason he’s the only one facing this is that the others left the service completely while he retired with a military pension, meaning he’s still subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which bars things such as calling lawful orders illegal and counseling troops to disobey orders.

Hegseth said that being a Senator does not exempt Kelly from accountability. We have to assume that he’s been in Congress so long that he simply forgot he once had a job where he was held accountable."

It's no laughing matter

Mark Kelly’s Wife BURSTS OUT LAUGHING as Pete Hegseth Announces Federal Investigation Into Her Husband

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) revealed on Friday that his wife, former Rep. Gabby Giffords, “laughed and laughed” when she heard Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had ordered an investigation into Kelly for potentially unlawful conduct under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The Pentagon announcement came after Kelly and five other far-left lawmakers, each with military or intelligence backgrounds, released a shocking video calling for U.S. troops to defy President Trump’s orders.

The group repeatedly told service members: “You can refuse illegal orders” and “You must refuse illegal orders.”

The Department of War responded, confirming it is now considering recalling Senator Kelly to active duty for court-martial proceedings.

Hegseth might get the last laugh

Mark Kelly calls Pete Hegseth unqualified

Sen. Kelly Rips Hegseth as 'Totally Unqualified'

Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., went on the attack against Pete Hegseth during a late-night TV appearance, calling the War secretary "totally unqualified" and dismissing the uproar over the "illegal orders" video he helped craft.

Kelly made the comments on the alt-Left "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that aired Tuesday night. Earlier in the day, Hegseth blasted Kelly and the five other Democrat lawmakers for "sowing doubt" among U.S. service members.

"I don't know Pete Hegseth well. I sit on the committee that ultimately had to confirm him, so I know a little about his background. He's totally unqualified," Kelly said on Kimmel. And the alt-left audience cheered!

Kelly still voted to advance Hegseth's nomination out of the Senate Armed Services Committee, even though he later opposed him on the final confirmation vote. Loser Democrats must have gotten to him.

"F-those guys," says Democrat hater

Senator Erupts in Profane Rant Over Pentagon Investigation: ‘F— Those Guys!’

In a shocking display of unprofessionalism and contempt for the chain of command, Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego of Arizona erupted in a profanity-laced tirade, directly attacking President Donald J. Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

This meltdown was triggered by the Department of War’s rightful decision to launch an investigation into his colleague, Senator Mark Kelly, for what appears to be a blatant attempt to incite insubordination within the United States military.

The Department of War is investigating Senator Kelly, a retired Naval Captain, after he and five other Democratic lawmakers released a video message telling active-duty service members they have a “duty” to disobey what they vaguely termed “illegal” orders from their Commander-in-Chief, President Trump.

This dangerous and seditious rhetoric, disguised as a public service announcement, is a clear effort to undermine the lawful authority of the presidency and poison the morale of our armed forces.

Mark Kelly's spy balloon company funded by China Communist Party

Did Mark Kelly’s Ambition Boost China’s Balloon Fleet?

Before his tenure as a senator from Arizona, Kelly had an illustrious career as an astronaut and co-founder of World View, a company initially dedicated to space tourism.

However, recent reports indicate that Kelly's entrepreneurial focus shifted from celestial exploration to more terrestrial concerns.

Before serving on both the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, Kelly launched a business that manufactures surveillance balloons. Notably, one of the company's significant investors has deep ties to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party).

Axios reported that shortly after World View was started, it received venture capital from Tencent in 2013, then again in 2016.

Tencent is one of China's largest corporations, and it was founded in 1998 by “Pony” Ma Huateng, Zhang Zhidong, Xu Chenye, Chen Yidan and Zeng Liqing. Last year, “Pony” Ma Huateng was listed by Forbes as the fourth-richest man in China with a net worth of $32.1 billion. Ma is also the CEO of Tencent.

Senator Mark Kelly tied to Spy Balloon company

Dem Senator Tied To ‘Spy Balloon’ Company & China

Funny how this didn’t come out until after the midterms isn’t it?

Recently re-elected Democrat Senator Mark Kelly (D-Arizona) helped start a Tucson-based company called World View in 2012. The company received capital from Tencent – one of the largest tech companies in China – in 2013 and 2016.

Axios reported that Tencent has “close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.”

It just so happens that the Arizona company co-founded by the Democrat Senator manufactures and operates high-altitude surveillance balloons.

Current World View president and CEO Ryan Hartman told the Arizona Republic in 2020 that Tencent stopped investing in the company once they left the space tourism field and began to focus on defense contracts.

Mark Kelly is bad for America

and bad for Arizona

"Besides Kamala Harris, Joe Biden might not even be the most dangerous man in America to our southern border. No, that honor probably goes to one of America’s least favorite southwestern Senators. Democrat Mark Kelly of Arizona.

Arizona, where Kelly rules, is right on America’s border with Mexico. If there was a state in the nation that needed somebody who knew how important a strong border is, it’s Arizona. Unfortunately for the people of the Grand Canyon State, they didn’t get a Senator who wanted to secure the border.

They got Mark Kelly.

If America wants to remain safe and secure, then our borders have to be just that. With people like Mark Kelly and Kamala Harris taking care of the borders though, they look like Swiss Cheese.

It’s gotten so bad that Donald J. Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc, had to release an ad specifically pointing out just how bad Mark Kelly has been for America at the border."  [Conservativejournalreview]
