Criminal gets a little slap on his girly wrist

Biden DOJ Seeks No Jail for Trans Vandal Who Scrawled ‘F**K Catholics’ on Church

Joe Biden’s DOJ is set to give the trans vandal zero time in jail

The Biden administration’s DOJ is seeking no jail time for a transgender abortion activist who scrawled “f**k Catholics” as part of a vandalism spree at a Catholic church days after Roe v. Wade was overturned last year.

31-year-old transgender abortion activist Maeve Nota is set to receive zero jail time for their role in assaulting a church employee and vandalizing St. Louis Catholic Church in Bellevue, Washington. That vandalism apparently included graffiti and the destruction of a statue of the Virgin Mary, according to a plea agreement reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Mota, a male who identifies as a woman, admitted to the vandalism as part of the plea agreement. When the plea agreement becomes final at a hearing on June 2, Nota will receive no jail time and three years of probation.

GOP Seminole County headquarters Vandalized

Florida Republican group's building vandalized with vulgar message, doors glued shut, officials say

The front of the Seminole County GOP office building had a spray-painted message and the doors were seals hit with glue, officials said

Vandals targeted Florida’s Seminole County Republican Party office over the weekend with a disturbing message written on the glass of the building, days after Democrat gubernatorial hopeful Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) claimed that supporters of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) have “hate” in their heart.

The graffitied message read, “eat shit fascists,” with a circled “A” underneath the message — a symbol for anarchy. Further, the vandals reportedly glued the doors of the establishment shut.

“We basically had to break into our own office,” State Committeeman Jesse Phillips said, according to the Hill.

Liberal Judges are going bonkers

Judge Awards Graffiti Artists $6.7M After Works Destroyed

A New York judge has awarded over $6 million to graffiti artists who sued after their work was destroyed on buildings that were torn down to make room for luxury residences.

So, if you property owners in Lake Worth decide to do anything to these murals painted all over your buildings, be careful! Liberal judges will decide your fate unless you have an airtight contract. And in this liberal world, who knows if that is good enough.

Graffiti--Vandalism or Visual Art?

Ok, when is this graffiti going to be gone on 2nd Avenue South? How long do we have to put up with it? We have an ordinance about this sort of thing but because we are an "art destination" perhaps this is considered some weird form of art...Which is it? Vandalism or a new kind of visual arts?

Trump's International Hotel vandalized with graffiti

There's a lot of stupidity out there. Black Lives Matter is a terrorist group and now one of them is responsible for defacing Trump's new hotel in Washington, D.C. that cost $847 million. Hope they catch the mixed-up bastard who feels his rights have been violated. Hillary supporters.

Graffiti at 500 N. Dixie Highway Lake Worth

Comment Up

500 N. Dixie is the old Palm Beach Showcase property owned by PBC Land Development LLC. It is situated on 1.1928 acres and the building comprises 23,703 s.f. They paid $2,230,000 in April 2006 and will be paying $29,668 in advalorem according to their latest tax bill.

The owners have allowed it to go to blight and now vandals have defaced the front of the building in spray paint from the decorative tiles near roof to the bottom of the building. The words are difficult to discern but the letters to the right of the front door seem to spell Jihad. As this is on a busy highway, you have to wonder how they got away with it and were unseen.

La Joya Villages Lake Worth

Comment Up

La Joya Villages are affordable rentals built on the railroad tracks at 1105 6th Ave S, Lake Worth.

About the property:

Geoff Pugh got $643,500 for the land from the CRA; the CRA sold it to La Joya Villages for $1; the CRA paid for the demolition even before it owned the property; the CRA paid for the option for quite some time at $14,000 a month in order to control the outcome; if there was a  Realtor involved, he got his money; the CRA got to spend government money; the developer lined his pockets; poor people can rent and live on the railroad tracks. There was going to be a traffic nightmare so the City of Lake Worth, being the compatible guys they are, decided to pour hundreds of thousands to re-pave 7th Avenue South, make it a one-way street running all the way from South F Street to South A.  And the CRA gets any increase in tax money from the project, not the city.

They told us that well, gee, we need affordable rentals as people shouldn't have to live in dumps. These were supposed to "bring up" the hood and change the neighborhood.  I guess a graffiti artist got inspiration from the mural painted on the backside across from the railroad tracks but who can see it but freight conductors?

At our Shuffleboard Courts - Graffiti on Graffiti

Comment Up

Back in the good ole days
Even though old, at least the building had some sort of class

It doesn't matter how or why they changed the name of our building, it will always be the Shuffleboard Court Building to most all of us who have lived here for decades.

Several months ago, the city paid the graffiti? artists? to paint the building, the walls and posts. It looks like a carnival about to happen in real time. Now some of the "art" has graffiti on the graffiti and that on the north wall is dripping and fading bringing a blighted look to our city asset. Is this part of the design? Whoever approved of this?  We don't get answers from city hall or this commission.  No one takes responsibility for this abomination. Why not? All they do is allow people to do what they want with our city owned property and give it all away for a buck a year.  Next it will be the beach park.

The Armory Art Center a/k/a the Shuffleboard Court Building

Comment Up
Paul putting on the finishing touches of his spray can art.

Now called the Armory Art center, our shuffleboard court building has been violated by those who believe spray painting is "art."  Actually using spray cans of paint is against our Ordinance unless you have permission from the City as obviously these people have. This artist, when asked, told me that it is the City that is paying him for his "creation."

Graffiti is against the law but all you have to do is twist the narrative and it becomes "art" at the click of your fingers. I would suppose that we can look at the positive and thank the city for creating jobs for graffiti experts, a deed that is normally considered a crime.

Graffiti implement means an aerosol paint container, a felt tip marker, a paint stick, adhesive decal, or etching tool capable of scarring glass, metal, concrete or wood. Possession of a container with paint inside in conjunction with a paint brush or paint roller cover is also considered an implement.
(4)
Paint stick or graffiti stick means any device containing a solid form of paint, chalk, wax, epoxy, or other similar substance capable of being applied to a surface by pressure and, upon application, leaving a mark at least one-eighth-inch in width visible from a distance of twenty (20) feet and not water soluble.
(b)
Unlawful activities.
(1)
It shall be unlawful for any person to, or endeavor to, write, paint, inscribe, scratch, scrawl, spray, place, adhere or draw graffiti of any type on any public or private building, structure, or any other real or personal property.

Art? Graffiti? Lake Worth Shuffleboard Court Building

Comment Up

I enjoy art.  I also like our Shuffleboard Court Building.  It used to be ours until we leased it to the CRA for a buck.  Instead of bringing up this neighborhood, (and the CRA has tried hard to do that with the Lofts) it seems that just the opposite has occurred with this latest action.  This looks like colorful graffiti to me. It's west of the railroad tracks so who really cares, right?

Greg Rice's property gets tagged again

Comment Up

This morning, on several occasions, I was on Lucerne Avenue west of Dixie. Sheriff vehicles were all over the place, stopping speeders, coming out of side streets with their lights flashing. I don't have a problem with them stopping speeders especially in residential areas such as Lucerne Avenue. People are crossing that street all of the time, some with little babies in carriages. But a full court press for revenue and concentrating on someone going 10mph over the 25 mph speed limit instead of the vandals who are constantly painting graffiti in our city--is that the most productive use of their time?

The graffiti continues at this property. This is an illegal act.  It is vandalism and the graffiti "artist's" message has been heard, over and over again. What can or will the sheriff do about it?

Scott Maxwell on the Graffiti

Instead of taking ROLO up on their offer of a paint brush, Maxwell went right to the head guy to get it solved.

Facebook:

Thank You City Manager for your quick response to my early morning request to rid the underpass at 12th avenue south and I-95 of recent graffiti activity..

Makin Life Krazy and Sur 13

Comment Up
UPDATE: 5:21pm just received word that the graffiti is now painted over.
The gangs are baaaaaaaaaaaack--if they ever left--according to PBSO,  war between two of them...MLK and Sur 13.

Not only has the graffiti unit been called in but the PBSO Gang Unit is involved. Back in 2009, the PBSO and the Feds busted the gangbangers and many went to federal prison on RICO charges after a seven month investigation. 12 of them were members of the MLK gang in Lake Worth  dubbed "Operation Vida Loca."  Since 2003, the MLK (Makin' Life Crazy) gang has been terrorizing Lake Worth neighborhoods. One of the gang  leaders back in 2009 who went to prison, lived in the 600 block of North D Street.

Sur 13 originated in Southern California.  Symbols/Identifiers: Sur refers to "southern," 13 refers to the 13th letter in the alphabet "M," which stands for Mexican Mafia; graffiti often says "SUR 13" members wear long blue canvas belts, the hand sign is done by throwing up three fingers, tattoos are three blue dots on the right hand and one blue dot on the left hand.Alliance: Aryan Brotherhood, Italian Mafia, MS 13
Read about the trial for the gang banger accused of killing Top 6 gang members in a Lake Worth massacre six years ago.

Although this area is not in the ROLO neighborhood association, a few of the officers plan on painting over this graffiti this Sunday. It is, however, in Scott Maxwell's District 1 and ROLO has a paint brush for him. They are asking that a deputy be there for their safety.

What the PBSO says:

Of greater concern is the inherent violence associated with graffiti. Graffiti is an ever present form of communication between gangs, their members, and the community. Graffiti is used as a means to communicate the presence of a gang in a particular area, territory, rivalries, and also marks boundaries. It is also used to communicate taunts and threats to rival gangs.

Graffiti can be called a "newspaper" of the street. For instance, when a gang's name has been crossed out on a graffiti-marked area, there is a good indication there may be strife between at least two gangs. If this were so, this would be a challenge that must not go unanswered. It is also used to advertise the gang’s status or power and to declare his or her own allegiance to the gang. When a neighborhood is marked with graffiti indicating territorial dominance, the entire area and its inhabitants become targets for violence. Anyone on the street or in their home is fair game for drive-by attacks by rival gang members. A rival gang identifies everyone in the neighborhood as a potential threat. Consequently, innocent residents are often subjected to gang violence by the mere presence of graffiti in their neighborhood.

What our ordinance says:

Not sure what happened to the 24 hour rule but I could not find it.
It shall be unlawful for any person owning property, any person acting as manager or agent for the property owner, or for any person in possession or control of the property to fail to remove or effectively obscure graffiti upon any public or private building, structure, or any other real or personal property within ten (10) days of receipt of notice from the city to remove such graffiti. This notice may be given verbally or in writing by an enforcement officer. If the notice is given verbally, an information report shall be completed by the city, a case number assigned, and the report shall be filed with the records department of the police department.

Happenings on Lucerne

Comment Up
Poor Greg Rice. No sooner does he paint over the graffiti when he is tagged again. This time it is small but large enough for the graffiti "artists" to tell everyone that they rule.

All gone now other than one out building.

Graffiti on Lucerne Avenue

Comment Up

Just when we begin to give the benefit of the doubt to the CRA that they are revitalizing the western community, then this property is trashed again. Boarded up for years, and directly west of the CRA's project, The Lofts, this private property is ideal for the graffiti artist once again.

Graffiti in downtown Lake Worth

Not to worry, we all are getting used to it!
