Happenings on Lucerne

Comment Up
Poor Greg Rice. No sooner does he paint over the graffiti when he is tagged again. This time it is small but large enough for the graffiti "artists" to tell everyone that they rule.

All gone now other than one out building.

Poor Greg Rice my butt. He should do the right thing for this neighborhood and knock down this awful atrocity. He is the reason why we have graffiti there and perps hiding out.

Amen to above comment, Lynn don't go saying poor rice, supporting this little guy who is a slum owner who could care less about our city and this neighborhood, leaving it so trashed, blighted, and deplorable for years bringing down our property values and bringing so much vagrancy and problems to this area. He doesn't care about anyone but lining his pockets for himself. If he wants respect he needs to show it.

I think the city should stopped coddling the man and kissing his ass, they need to instead enforce the laws on him, fine him, and make him clean up his blight, what is good for one is good for all, rules are rules, enforce the laws and make him unboard and revive/rehab or demolish, he has one year to do this, will he? Will the city enforce the laws on this rich kissup?

Greg Rice is a public figure. Read the policy. Helen, as far as I am concerned, you are anonymous to me.
Thanks.

Good morning--there is really no way of knowing who commented above. There must be more than one person who doesn't like this boarded up building on Lucerne and in your neighborhood. No? The building, because of its obvious abandonment, draws the graffiti crowd, etc.

Sure, Lynn. It's been tagged dozens of times in recent years. He has also been very diligent in painting over it. His neighbors are the ones trashing the property, throwing chairs and beer cans on the roof, and then complaining about it here.

Of all the boarded up properties in Lake Worth, this is one of the least offensive. Yes, he should do something about it and the banks and absentee owners should do something about all the other MUCH WORSE properties too.

Rice is just an easy target for the ONE who constantly comments saying the same thing over and over, and probably runs the illegal bar-b-que on the corner right next to Rice's.
