The Georgia State Ethics Commission ruled earlier this year that the New Georgia Project and its affiliated Action Fund violated campaign finance laws during the 2018 election cycle. The groups admitted to all 16 violations. They paid $300,000 – a record fine in Georgia history.

Then the New Georgia Project quietly shut down and dissolved in 2025. That's not how innocent organizations behave. The Ethics Commission found that the New Georgia Project raised $4.2 million and spent $3.2 million to support Abrams and other Democrats during the 2018 cycle.

Not a single dollar of it was disclosed. That's not a paperwork mistake. They ran a multi-million-dollar influence operation on Georgia elections and told regulators they weren't doing anything of the sort.

"Americans may know more about the crimes committed by deceased child sex trafficker and liberal financier Jeffrey Epstein, including possible associates, after the Justice Department turned over documents on the federal case against him following a congressional subpoena.

U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced in a statement the Justice Department informed the Committee it will begin providing Epstein-related records.

“There are many records in DOJ’s custody, and it will take the Department time to produce all the records and ensure the identification of victims and any child sexual abuse material are redacted,” said Comer.

Comer issued an Aug. 5 subpoena to the Justice Department for records related to Epstein.

The same day, he also issued deposition subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales for testimony related to horrific crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein,” the statement notes, after an Oversight subcommittee approved motions to “subpoena these records and compel witness testimony.” [AmericanLibertyNews]

The subpoena also demands testimony from four former Biden aides, including Neera Tanden, Anthony Bernal, Annie Tomasini, and Ashley Williams—all of whom may have played a role in covering up Biden’s alarming cognitive decline.

The liberal media, of course, has downplayed or outright ignored this scandal, proving once again their role as spin doctors for the Democrat establishment.

The motion was introduced by Democratic Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly, who argued it was necessary due to Musk’s “prominence and his importance” in his role, but House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer asserted the motion was “not debatable.”

As Republicans on the committee moved to table it following pushback from members who wanted to debate it, Stansbury raised what she claimed was a “point of order.”

James Comer and other members disagreed.

Afterward, a committee member requested a “recorded vote” on the motion to subpoena Musk, which Comer allowed. The motion ultimately failed on a party-line vote, with 20 members voting against and 19 in favor, according to Politico.

When Peter Navarro reported to prison he had a press conference at a strip mall across the street. Navarro claimed his case represents an "unprecedented assault" on the separation of powers and executive privilege.

He was sentenced to four months in prison on March 19th. He appealed both his conviction and the trial judge's decision to enforce his sentence as the appeal was further litigated...denied.

Navarro has long held that he thought he was bound by executive privilege when he refused to comply with the committee's demands, but the judge overseeing his case ruled there was no evidence that the privilege was actually invoked.

This should be a dynamic and enlightening speech by Peter Navarro who, as a Trump administration official, encouraged President Donald Trump to implement trade-protectionist policies.

The subpoena is the result of a Washington Free Beacon report that claimed that the whistleblower—a former employee in Ms. Willis’s office—was demoted after she warned Ms. Willis about her alleged use of federal grant funds that were supposed to be used for the prevention of gang activity but were instead used for trips and laptops.

House Republicans appear split on whether to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress for not complying with a subpoena from the House Oversight Committee that seeks a document with whistleblower allegations that now-President Joe Biden received a bribe from a foreign official.

In a May 3 letter to Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the chairman of the Oversight Committee, and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) wrote that they “have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures.

“It’s clear from the FBI’s response that the unclassified record the Oversight Committee subpoenaed exists, but they are refusing to provide it to the Committee. We’ve asked the FBI to not only provide this record, but to also inform us what it did to investigate these allegations,” said Comer in a May 10 statement. “The FBI has failed to do both. The FBI’s position is ‘trust, but you aren’t allowed to verify.’ That is unacceptable. We plan to follow up with the FBI and expect compliance with the subpoena.”

The one big mistake Trump made when he was president was to appoint Christopher Wray as FBI Director. He now refuses to give a non-classified document to the Oversight Committee.

In a press conference Thursday, Comer detailed nine federal crimes allegedly committed by the Biden family, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, wire fraud, violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, tax evasion, money laundering and human trafficking.

DOJ Recommends Outrageous Sentence for Steve Bannon

The DOJ is recommending an extremely stiff sentence for Steve Bannon, who was convicted of contempt of Congress earlier in the year after defying a subpoena by the January 6th committee. According to the sentencing memorandum, the federal government wants Bannon to spend six months in prison and have to pay a $200,000 fine.

The sentencing demand by the DOJ outpaced expectations, which were that Bannon would spend 30 days or so in jail. Six months is nearly unheard of in these cases. In fact, anyone getting criminally prosecuted for not obeying a congressional subpoena is nearly unheard of.

It wasn’t that long ago that Obama officials Eric Holder and Lois Lerner both defied congressional subpoenas from a Republican-controlled House. Despite criminal referrals, and in the case of Holder, even though a large number of Democrats voted that he be held in contempt, the DOJ never even entertained the idea of pursuing the case criminally.
