"Amid ongoing legal battles, former President Donald Trump has received judicial approval to subpoena a lawyer over alleged private discussions with a judge handling his fraud trial.

According to the Washington Examiner, a court permitted Trump to subpoena attorney Adam Bailey. Bailey publicly claimed to have discussed the case with Judge Arthur Engoron before Engoron ruled on Trump's civil fraud case.

Judge Arthur Engoron, presiding over Trump's civil fraud case, faced allegations from Adam Bailey, a lawyer asserting he had private talks with Engoron. Bailey's claims came to light during an interview with a local NBC affiliate, where he mentioned providing unsolicited legal advice to the judge."
