Last year, President Joe Biden asserted that delivering offensive military equipment, including tanks to Ukraine as part of that nation’s ongoing battle against invading Russian troops, would lead directly to another world war.

“The idea that we’re going to send in offensive equipment and have planes and tanks and trains going in with American pilots and American crews — just understand, don’t kid yourself, no matter what y’all say, that’s called World War III,” he said in March.

So, what changed his mind?

The US will send Ukraine 31 M1 Abrams tanks, President Biden announced Wednesday in a neck-snapping reversal from the Pentagon’s stated opposition late last week — though Kyiv won’t be able to make full use of the vehicles for months. The about-face caught the attention of countless critics, including potential 2024 rival Donald Trump.

Ukraine secured a pledge from the United States and Germany to send fighter jets. Now Biden with his mixed messaging, has changed his mind...will not send the F-16's to Ukraine.

Joe Biden, or the shadowy group that does his thinking, is said to be considering a presidential trip to Europe in February to mark the first anniversary of Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

The intent would be to show his ongoing support for the nearly Texas-sized nation’s valiant and surprising success in not only resisting Russian advances but actually pushing them back.

On Wednesday, both the American and German governments promised that they would send dozens of battle tanks to Ukraine. 31 M1 Abrams and 14 Leopard 2 tanks are set to be delivered to the embattled nation.

“Putin expected Europe and the United States to weaken our resolve,” Joe Biden said. “He was wrong from the beginning and he continues to be wrong… This is about helping Ukraine defend and protect Ukrainian land. It is not an offensive threat to Russia.”

Robert Gates, Obama’s highly respected Secretary of Defense said, he’s (Biden) been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.

Sak told Reuters that his government was optimistic that they would receive them. “They didn’t want to give us heavy artillery, then they did. They didn’t want to give us Himars systems, then they did. They didn’t want to give us tanks, now they’re giving us tanks. Apart from nuclear weapons, there is nothing left that we will not get,” he added.

As Russia continues to annihilate Ukraine, Zelensky knows he will get anything he wants from Biden. We are at war with Russia whether the U.S. wants to admit it or not.

Trump Blasts Biden's Decision to Send Tanks to Ukraine

On Wednesday, President Biden announced he would be sending 31 Abrams Tanks to Ukraine to help Zelenskyy fight back against Putin; a reversal of the administration’s initial stance in which it said the tanks wouldn’t be that helpful.

“This is about freedom, freedom for Ukraine, freedom everywhere,” Biden said.

Former President and 2024 candidate Donald Trump strongly disagreed with Biden’s decision; he shared his opinion on TRUTH Social on Thursday. “FIRST COME THE TANKS, THEN COME THE NUKES. Get this crazy war ended, NOW. So easy to do!” Trump said.

Biden should be sending tanks to our southern border and do his job which is protecting the citizens of this country. Instead, he has ignored our border and the largest number of illegals have entered from 160 countries, some of whom are terrorists. Illegal immigration has soared under Biden to the third-highest in 97 years. It is totally unsustainable. Why don't Democrats give a hot fig?
