On Wednesday, both the American and German governments promised that they would send dozens of battle tanks to Ukraine. 31 M1 Abrams and 14 Leopard 2 tanks are set to be delivered to the embattled nation.“Putin expected Europe and the United States to weaken our resolve,” Joe Biden said. “He was wrong from the beginning and he continues to be wrong… This is about helping Ukraine defend and protect Ukrainian land. It is not an offensive threat to Russia.”
Robert Gates, Obama’s highly respected Secretary of Defense said, he’s (Biden) been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.

As Russia continues to annihilate Ukraine, Zelensky knows he will get anything he wants from Biden. We are at war with Russia whether the U.S. wants to admit it or not.

Apropos to your last paragraph: I wonder when the Ukrainians will wake up to that fact.
They are not stupid people. Basically, they are Russians. Russians are very smart, therefore, Ukrainians, being basically Russian, are also very smart.
I think Zelensky is very Evil, but we won't find this out until the next chapter.
