The Minneapolis Police Department denied a political motive, saying the shirt had been under consideration since early this year.

Kroll, president of the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis, said last week that when former President Bill Clinton made a public appearance to lobby for his crime bill in 1994, uniformed officers were part of the setting, with some there “against their will.”

Officers also wore uniforms in 2013, when President Barack Obama came to Minneapolis and spoke to an invitation-only audience about gun violence at the Police Department’s Special Operations Center in north Minneapolis.

Statewide Alert on Cop Killer

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a statewide “Florida Blue Alert” for Markeith Loyd. Loyd is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of an Orlando police officer.

Loyd is described as a 6-foot-3, 230-pound male. He was last seen in the 5300 block of Cinder Lane Parkway in Orlando.

If you have information about Loyd’s whereabouts, you are asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 836-4357 or call 911. You are also asked not to approach Loyd as he is considered armed and dangerous.

A number of states, including Washington, have passed three-strike laws for the purpose of sending violent repeat offenders to prison for life instead of allowing them the opportunity to walk free and continue their violent ways. If Washington’s three-strike law was enforced, 61-year-old Mount Vernon, Washington police officer Mike “Mick” McClaughry would not be fighting for his life in a hospital after being shot in the back of the head by a repeat felon.

Florida has a Three Strikes law but for a judge to apply the law, all three violent felonies must have occurred separately and been committed within a five-year span. The accused has to be convicted and not just arrested. and let's end some of these plea deals.

Fake News was born in Ferguson

Sheriff Clarke recently appeared on Fox News’ Fox & Friends to denounce the liberal media’s attempt to discredit conservative media by calling them “fake news.” Sheriff Clarke argued that the “fake news” trend was created and cultivated by the mainstream media, and it all began with the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” narrative.
