And Joe Biden gave Hunter Biden one piece of advice that he’s going to live to regret. Hunter Biden defied a Congressional subpoena from House Republicans to appear for a scheduled closed-door deposition.
“The President was certainly familiar with what his son was going to say, and I think what you saw was from the heart from his son,” Jean-Pierre claimed.
According to Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley, if Biden knew his son was planning on skipping his scheduled deposition, Jean-Pierre’s comment simply created the “worst possible scenario” for the Democrat President.

2 or 3 times a day for 3 years you've been declaring that Joe Biden or some Democrat is guilty of some major crime. This is just the latest and none of them mean anything.
Hunter honored the subpoena and showed up ready to testify under oath in public. Republicans wanted it behind closed doors. Too bad. So sad.
When Jim Jordan and all the Republicans who blew off the J6 Committee decide to honor their obligations, either in public or private, their tears mean nothing.
Hunter did NOT honor the subpoena. He spit in the eye of the Oversight Committee who will be filing contempt charges.
The January 6th committee was a joke.

Like it or not, Lynn, Hunter Biden honored the subpoena, showed up ready to publicly testify under oath and Republicans said get lost. They had an opportunity and they blew it. Take it to a judge and let them decide. The Party of Sore Losers never learns.
Meanwhile, arrest Jim Jordan, prosecute him and throw him in jail until he complies. Maybe he can tell jokes to all the J6 insurrectionists who are in jail now.

NBC News: Republicans had subpoenaed Hunter Biden to appear for a closed-door deposition Wednesday morning before the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees. The chairmen of those committees, as well as the House Ways and Means Committee, are spearheading the impeachment effort into President Joe Biden.
Republicans have rejected Hunter Biden’s offer to appear for an initial public hearing, saying they want him to testify privately first. After learning he would not attend Wednesday’s scheduled deposition, they told reporters they would look at moving forward with proceedings to hold him in contempt of Congress.
Hunter thinks he can get away with just about everything. Not this time.

Thanks for confirming what I wrote. He was there ready to testify publicly under oath and they told him no. He honored the subpoena. Republicans rejected his testimony and are now going to try to prosecute him for their stupidity.

Just because I believe in reciting facts instead of making things up doesn't mean I'm siding with the guy. If Hunter did something wrong, he'll be prosecuted, as should anyone who violates the law...anyone.
The problem is that Republicans believe that laws and subpoenas only apply to Democrats. That the only just prosecution is one where a Democrat is a defendant. That only Democrats have to answer to subpoenas.

The problem here is that you are uninformed about subpoenas. As I recall the fake Jan 6 committee subpoenaed a lot of Republicans--Kevin McCarthy, Republican Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio, Mo Brooks of Alabama, Andy Biggs of Arizona and Scott Perry of Pennsylvania. And then there were Roger Stone and Alex Jones. There were a host of others who all complied to subpoenas. If not, it would be criminal contempt. They said Roger Stone lied about something and threw his ass in jail. No getting around congressional subpoenas no matter how much Hunter tried.
It certainly is "warped thinking." Hopefully, Congress goes after Hunter.
