Arrogant El-Sayed

El-Sayed Puts Hands on Reporter During Heated Clash Before Election Win

A tense exchange with a reporter put Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed under scrutiny just hours before his Senate victory was announced, according to BizPac Review. The dispute wasn’t just about refusing questions. It also involved El-Sayed placing his hands on the journalist’s shoulders.

Fox News shared footage Thursday showing El-Sayed confronting Sky News correspondent James Matthews, a British reporter based in the United States.

El-Sayed opened with a question of his own: “Are you registered to vote in the state of Michigan?”

“I’m not,” Matthews answered.

“Why would I care to have a conversation with you?” El-Sayed responded.

Matthews explained that he was a reporter. But El-Sayed continued to focus on his connection to the U.K. and placed his hands on Matthews’ shoulders, keeping them there during the exchange.
“I absolutely do not care what you think or the questions you ask!” El-Sayed said.
According to the account shared by Fox News, Matthews argued that American elections have consequences beyond the United States. The exchange escalated as El-Sayed clapped, placed his hands on Matthews’ shoulders and told him to stop “chasing” him.
