With one report calling the situation "another good argument for homeschooling," there is word that parents in the school district in Palo Alto, California, are suing officials because they rounded up children for a "field trip" and then sent them into a Muslim mosque indoctrination session.

According to the Gateway Pundit, the lawsuit is against the Palo Alto Unified School District and Brent Kline, principal of Palo Alto High School.

The charge is that the school's "Social Justice Pathway" turned a class field trip to a Santa Clara mosque into "taxpayer-funded religious indoctrination."

"[T]he District failed to maintain religious neutrality, failed to ensure equal treatment among faiths, failed to protect student privacy, and failed to vet, supervise, and monitor religiously divisive outside speakers during the school-sponsored event," the case allegations include.

In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a clash over land use and cultural identity is taking center stage.

On Dec. 18, the Broken Arrow Planning Commission granted preliminary rezoning approval for a 15-acre project that includes a mosque and retail complex, paving the way for the Islamic Society of Tulsa's development plan to move ahead pending a final city council vote next month, as The Christian Post reports.

The proposal drew over 60 residents to a packed and often tense public meeting, where most speakers voiced concerns over the cultural and community implications of the development.

“The vote was strictly on the feasibility of the construction plans and not the cultural ramifications,” said Planning Commission Chair Robert Goransson, underscoring the meeting's narrow legal focus.

That may sound procedural, but for many families in Broken Arrow, this isn't just about blueprints and building codes. It’s about whether their quiet suburb is taking a turn they didn’t sign up for.

It was only 2010 when the local community board voted to approve the building of a radical Islamist 15 story victory terror mosque at Ground Zero where 3,000 Americans were killed by Islamic jihadists. This was also approved by Obama at that time. Those living outside of New York City (the rest of the country) were outraged then and would be now if they knew that the project is not dead after all.

Anti Islam activist Pam Geller, who is on the Southern Poverty Law Center Extremist List (she must be doing something right then), contends building a mosque at the site where Islamic terrorists slaughtered thousands of Americans is a provocation. It's an "Islamic pattern to build triumphal mosques on the cherished sites of conquered lands," writes Geller.

On Thursday Katie and I stopped into the Supervisor of Elections office to congratulate Susan Bucher on her tremendous win and to thank her for keeping politics out of her doing a superb service to the voters of Palm Beach County.  This office is non-partisan. She is a Democrat, I a Republican. She mentioned that the Boca mosque was still contacting her.

Now the Boca Mosque is back in the news today. The Boca Raton mosque is still complaining about Susan Bucher's decision to move an election polling site from their mosque to a library because many people had called Bucher to complain. Now those supporting the mosqe are complaining and their liberal supporters are threatening Susan Bucher saying they will remove their church as a polling site if Bucher does not capitulate. A very Christian thing to do I would say.

Bassem Alhalabi, the president of the mosque, a place that has been proven to be anti-Semetic, said that Bucher caved-in to "bigots."  Muslims are trying to tell us all that they are peaceful and should be looked upon with respect and now are demanding it.  Alhalbi was one of those who spoke in front of our city commission when it made a resolution 35-2016 to support Muslim communities in and around the city.  The Resolution affirms Freedom of Religion. Freedom of Religion includes the free practice of all religions, without fear of persecution, discrimination or threats to personal safety. That is all fine and good but freedom of religion is protected under the Constitution of the United States of America.

One gentleman who spoke in front of our commission was FAU professor Bassem Alhalabi who is a founding director of the Islamic Center of Boca Raton. He mentioned that he lives in Boca and rarely visits Lake Worth but he was happy to know about our city. Alhalabi, prior to getting his job at FAU, was an assistant to Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian, while they were together at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa.  Source:  Front Page Magazine. There is a large Jewish population in Boca Raton and this mosque had an essay on its web page at one time that said, "You will fight the Jews and will prevail over them, so that a rock will say, O Muslim! There is Jew behind me, kill him!" 

Voters should feel safe when entering a polling site. Eliminating this site as a polling location was the correct decision by our Supervisor of Elections.

(Detroit Free Press) – After weeks of contentious debate, the planning commission of Sterling Heights voted 9-0 Thursday night to reject building a mosque on 15 Mile between Ryan and Mound roads.

City Planner Donald Mende said the mosque was too tall for the location and not suited for the residential area. Many residents agreed with him, speaking out before the vote.

But Jaafar Chehab, a board member of the proposed American Islamic Community Center, said before the vote: ”Not allowing this mosque to be built is a violation of my Constitutional rights…Denying me a house of worship in the place I live is unacceptable..We have the right to build a mosque.”
