Why Greenland is so important

Interior Sec. Doug Burgum — Greenland and Venezuela Are Strategic Priorities for Defense and Energy

In an appearance on Breitbart News Daily, Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum made the case for Greenland’s strategic value to American national security and Venezuela’s potential to re-anchor U.S. energy dominance in the Western Hemisphere, casting both regions as crucial to President Donald Trump’s foreign policy and economic agenda.

Burgum likened the acquisition of Greenland to historic U.S. territorial expansions. “President Trump understands that the same way that Thomas Jefferson understood the Louisiana Purchase was going to change the course of our country,” Burgum said, drawing another direct parallel to Seward’s purchase of Alaska, which he described as “a resource that is for us today.”

While Greenland remains a self-governing territory of Denmark, Burgum questioned the intensity of Danish attachment to the island, noting, “I’m guessing that the vast majority of people in Denmark have never been to Greenland and have no plans to go.” He suggested that Danish reluctance might be tied to “a holdover of colonial pride.”

The United States "accepted the legal obligation to defend against any attack" on Greenland in a 1951 treaty with Denmark. It has had bases there since the Second World War. It costs us multi-millions a year defending Greenland and ultimately the United States.

Greenland is the center of U.S. defenses against Russian and/or Chinese nuclear missile attacks. At Pituffik Space Base they have a runway, a seaport and a lot of radar and gigantic satellite dishes.

U.S. Space Force Guardians operate the early-warning radar system to spot intercontinental ballistic missile threats and sea-launched missiles coming out of Russia, China or anywhere else.

The squadrons also provide tracking and command and control for U.S. satellites and all other objects up in space, such as China’s 1,300 satellites. America would be blind without this surveillance.

Patriot's Home torched and car vandlized by uncivilized SOB

Space Force Officers’ DC Home Torched in Anti-Trump Attack

GoFundMe Raises $70,000

Let’s not kid ourselves. The political divide in America isn’t a “divide” anymore. It’s a chasm, and one side has filled it with a toxic sludge of vitriol that feels utterly alien to our way of life.

For years, we’ve seen political disagreement systematically twisted into sheer contempt. The unhinged rhetoric from the Left, endlessly echoed by a sycophantic media, has moved beyond simple opposition and into the dangerous territory of dehumanization.

And surprise, surprise—this sludge has real-world consequences. It emboldens the deranged and gives cowards a cause, whispering to them that violence is a perfectly acceptable form of political expression.

For one patriotic American family, this dark reality came crashing down in the most horrific way imaginable. It’s a brutal reminder that for some on the Left, nothing is sacred—not even the home of those who wear our nation’s uniform.

Jason Taylor and Kaylee Taylor returned to find their residence heavily damaged by fire, with most of their belongings destroyed. The couple’s vehicle was reportedly vandalized with spray-painted messages reading “F*ck Trump” and “F*ck the Space Force.” These photos were not shared on the fundraiser, however.

Don’t let anyone tell you this was a random burglary. This was a targeted act of political terrorism, right in our nation’s capital. The motive wasn’t robbery; it was rage. The goal wasn’t profit; it was punishment for the high crime of patriotism.

Golden Dome and Space Force taking a hit

Despite Golden Dome, Space Force budget would shrink again under 2026 spending plan

The White House appears to be pinning its hopes on the one-time reconciliation bill

The Space Force’s budget would continue to shrink under the Trump administration’s 2026 budget proposal, which experts said would force the Pentagon to rely on the yet-to-be-passed reconciliation bill to fund Golden Dome and other space priorities.

The White House is requesting $26.3 billion for the service, according to budget documents released on Friday. That’s about 13 percent less, in real terms, than the $29.4 billion requested by the Biden administration for 2025. It’s down from the $28.7 billion actually appropriated under the full-year continuing resolution passed in March. And it’s down from the 2024 total of $29 billion, which represented the fourth year of growth for the young service.

Space Force officials have warned that the service already lacks the money to build out new missions like “space superiority” and take a lead role in the Golden Dome missile-defense project. In March, Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman said the service might need a 20-percent budget increase.

Experts say the White House is betting on the passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill”—a massive spending package that will kick an extra $150 billion to defense over the next three years. But the administration plans to use most of that in 2026 so it can talk about spending a total of $1 trillion on defense while keeping DOD’s budget essentially flat to appease fiscal conservatives.

The bill text released on Friday contained no details about specific space programs, but a budget request with more information on how the Space Force and Golden Dome will be funded is expected later this month.

Greenland Commander got political and did not respect her boss

U.S. Space Force Commander in Greenland Relieved of Duties Following Email Incident

She forgot protocol and went political

Col. Susannah Meyers, once the commanding officer of the 821st Space Base Group in Greenland, has been dismissed from her role.

According to Fox News, Her email contradicting Vice President JD Vance's statements led to a statement of mistrust from the Pentagon.

Meyers, who had been stationed at Pituffik, Greenland, sent an email to her personnel shortly after Vance’s pointed remarks on Denmark's handling of Greenlandic issues. In her March 31 email, she expressed a perspective that differed from the vice president’s, suggesting that the base staff did not share his views.

Meyers alluded to the challenges and reflections triggered by the vice president’s visit, stating, “I have spent the weekend thinking about Friday's visit — the actions taken, the words spoken, and how it must have affected each of you.”

This introspection, however, led to higher-ups questioning her capability to maintain an apolitical stance as required in her role.

Nukes in Space

Space Force Vice Chief Issues Warning About Activity In Space

The United States Space Force should pivot its focus to keeping pace with weaponry used in orbit by the nation’s adversaries, a top General has warned.

According to Space.com, Gen Michael A. Guetlein, Vice Chief of Space Operations spoke at the 16th annual McAleese “Defense Programs” Conference in Arlington, Virgina, Tuesday, and warned that Space Force needs to rethink how its approaches its satellite security measures.

“The reason we stood the United States Space Force up, was to make a pivot,” Guetlein said. “Because we had seen our near peers starting to catch up with us and starting to get very capable and very determined at denying our ability to use space.”

Guetlein said the Space Force needs to work on enhancing its war-fighting capabilities.

He continued: “What we did not inherit when we stood up the United States Space Force, is space superiority as a core function. We didn’t have the doctrine, we didn’t have culture, we didn’t have the kit. And part of standing up the Space Force was to make it a war-fighting force, capable of defending our capabilities in and through space, capable of guaranteeing that we are going to have space superiority for the joint force, no matter what the joint-force is asked to do.”

Guetlein noted that one of the issues is people thinking that Space Force isn’t actually real, and this attitude is working against the U.S. because people aren’t necessarily worried about space.

China on the Move

China Ramps Up War Preparations, Directly Targeting US Across The Pacific

And it will include attacks in space. China’s increasing military ‘exercises’ start to look more like operations. The head of Space Forces Indo-Pacific warned that China’s expanding military exercises, aided by an increased use of space, are blurring the line between drills and a potential invasion of Taiwan.

“It is clear in the increasing complexity with which the PLA exercises are done in a way that it becomes very difficult… to discern an exercise from an invasion, and that’s clearly by design,” the commander of Space Forces Indo-Pacific, said. “We have begun to see the space piece integrated into some of that.”

A decade ago, the Chinese only had about two dozen satellites. Now, they operate more than 1,000—most of which are “specifically designed to track U.S. forces.

“(China) has been building a space architecture specifically designed to keep the U.S. outside the Second Island Chain,” the commander said. Their strategic goal is to limit U.S. and allied forces’ ability to intervene in key conflicts, particularly in the South China Sea and around Taiwan and the Philippines.

U.S. Space Force develops space defense system

Trump's U.S. Space Force has successfully tested the Remote Modular Terminal (RMT)

a groundbreaking technology tailored to disrupt enemy satellite communications

In an era where threats loom as much in outer space as they do on terra firma, the need for advanced defensive systems becomes critical. The RMT represents a significant stride in countering technological threats from global adversaries, particularly in the arena of space warfare.

Specially engineered to jam enemy satellite communications, the RMT achieves this by flooding the airwaves with powerful signal disruptions.

It’s a low-cost solution that enhances the safety of military operators by allowing remote operation, thus avoiding the need for personnel to be present in potentially hazardous conditions.

In a practical demonstration of its capabilities, the RMT was recently deployed across two separate locations but managed from a third, underscoring its operational flexibility and proving its potential as a pivotal tool in modern warfare.

What is China doing on the Moon?

What Is China Doing on the Moon? Researchers Make Scary Discovery

"Everyone knows about the craters on the moon, right? The ones that look like a celestial game of golf gone horribly wrong? Well, a couple of them have been causing quite the ruckus amongst the scientific community. It seems these two particular craters weren’t caused by rogue space rocks, but rather something much more intriguing.

A team from the University of Arizona has been playing detective, and they’ve come up with a theory. They believe that one of the craters was formed by a Chinese rocket booster, which was carrying an unknown payload. Yep, an unknown payload. Now, if that doesn’t get your conspiracy-theorist juices flowing, I don’t know what will.

But wait, there’s more! This rocket booster supposedly broke off from a Chinese rocket launched back in 2014. But here’s where things get really interesting. The American research team also found that a second object of roughly the same weight as the booster landed on the moon, creating the other crater."

And thanks to President Trump, he got the Space Force enacted. In 2019, the House and Senate resolved their differences to pass the United States Space Force Act, and this was signed into law by President Donald Trump, establishing the U.S. Space Force as the first new independent military service since the Army Air Forces were reorganized as the U.S. Air Force in 1947.

In September, the Space Force announced a new mission statement: “Secure our Nation’s interests in, from, and to space.”

Secure” refers to the Space Force’s formative purpose to contest, and when directed, control the space domain on behalf of the nation and joint force.

Our Nation’s interests” represents Guardians’ focus on protecting the security and prosperity the U.S. derives from space. It also serves as a reminder that space activities are essential to the American way of life.

In, from, and to space” references the three core functions of the Space Force, which include securing the Nation’s interests."

So what is China doing on the Moon?

Marxism in our Military

Space Force Commander Breaks Silence: ‘We Were Taught Whites Inherently Evil

Our military infiltrated by Marxism

Although this happened over a year ago, it is worth mentioning again as our country is in trouble. We will never win another war or be able to defend ourselves at this point with all this wokeism indoctrination. The Space Force was formed by President Trump and a vital service for our security.

"Space is the world's newest warfighting domain," Trump said at Andrews. "Amid grave threats to our national security, American superiority in space is absolutely vital. We're leading, but we're not leading by enough, and very shortly, we'll be leading by a lot."

Former Space Force Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier who was fired a year ago has revealed what is being taught by the US military. Lohmeier was fired over criticisms of the critical race theory teachings which have become popular in the military under the Biden administration.

Lohmeier claimed that he and others were told that white people are inherently evil in addition to what he described as a series of other Marxist teachings.

According to his descriptions, the military at the highest levels has adopted anti-white and anti-American narratives which accuse both the people and the country of being inherently racist.

The explicit condemnation of white Americans, he says, are a blatant violation of Department of Defense policies against discrimination. [newshourfirst.com]

Lohmeier, in fact, has written an entire book on the subject, which accuses the military and the Department of Defense of actively working to spread Marxist ideas.

The book is entitled "Irresistible Revolution."

Mystery Rocket on the Moon

Scientists Baffled as Mystery Rocket Discovered on Moon

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this--how is Trump's Space Force coming along since he signed the National Defense Authorization Act into effect on December 20, 2019? We never hear anything about it.

U.S. Space force capabilities: ground-based and space-based systems monitor ballistic missile launches around the world to guard against a surprise missile attack on North America. A global network of space surveillance sensors provide vital information on the location of satellites and space debris for the nation and the world. Maintaining space superiority is an emerging capability required to protect U.S. space assets from hostile attacks.

While the space race of the 1950’s and 60’s was perhaps one of the most phenomenal confluences of pop culture and science our world has ever seen, the modern version of this technological advancement appears to be bringing with it a bit of stealth and secrecy.

China denys that it is their rocket--

Sure, there are plenty of reasons for nations around the world to keep their space plans under wraps – particularly nations such as Russia and China who’ve been experimenting openly with hypersonic rockets capable of delivering a nuclear payload at ungodly speeds, high above this planet.

Democrats plan to abolish Space Force

Dems Seek to Abolish Trump-Created Space Force

On 20 December 2019, the United States Space Force Act, developed by Democratic Representative Jim Cooper and Republican Representative Mike Rogers, was signed as part of the National Defense Authorization Act by President Donald Trump, reorganizing Air Force Space Command into the United States Space Force, and creating the first new independent military service since the Army Air Forces were reorganized as the U.S. Air Force in 1947.[wikipedia]

"Democrats are introducing a bill to abolish the Space Force established by former President Donald Trump as a new branch of the military to defend American national security in the expanding world that is increasingly using satellite technology for business, communications, and defense".

"It's time we turn our attention back to where it belongs: addressing urgent domestic and international priorities like battling COVID-19, climate change, and growing economic inequality. Our mission must be to support the American people, not spend billions on the militarization of space," say Democrats.

Democrats can waste money on witch-hunts, etc. but have zero understanding of the importance of the Space Force and its primary mission of maintaining, protecting and expanding the U.S. fleet of advanced military satellites that form the backbone of U.S. global military operations-- to be one step ahead of our enemies.

Space Force officer relieved for giving his opinion on Critical Race Theory

Space Force Officer Relieved After Denouncing Marxism, Critical Race Theory in Military

Promoting his book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military” he appeared on a Podcast and criticized Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s agenda.

Critical race theory, which draws heavily upon Marxist and postmodernist theories, denounces U.S. and Western culture as a form of oppression. Critics have said its proponents apply the Marxist tactic of “class struggle” to divide people along lines of race, gender, and ethnicity to label them “oppressors” and the “oppressed.”

Lloyd Austin is the first African American to serve as the United States Secretary of Defense. He wants to rid the ranks of "racism and extremism" which means "patriots" and rid those for not spouting the company line it seems.
