Journalist Peter Doocy calls out Karine Jean-Pierre for Lying

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced tough questions from Fox News' Peter Doocy. He asked about illegal immigrants with serious criminal records in the U.S.

Jean-Pierre pushed back, calling the numbers a "false representation of the data."

Doocy pressed further, mentioning 13,000 convicted murderers. "How much danger are U.S. communities in right now?" he asked.

Jean-Pierre replied, "It's been fact-checked by multiple outlets. That has been debunked. So we have to call that out."

Doocy wasn't satisfied and asked, "Can you clarify what the misrepresentation is?"

Jean-Pierre emphasized the need for accurate reporting. "We can't confuse the American people or lie," she said. She also pointed out that returns and removals in the past year were higher than during previous administrations since 2010.

Data shared with Republican lawmakers showed 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 with pending charges among noncitizens in removal proceedings.

Criminal convictions included assault, burglary, drug offenses, and homicide. The Department of Homeland Security clarified that some individuals had entered the country decades ago and may already be in custody. [DailyPatriot]

President Joe Biden is now claiming that he received a post-debate medical evaluation.

During an hour-long meeting with Democratic governors late Wednesday, one governor asked Biden about his physical condition, according to Politico. The question reportedly prompted Biden to say he remains in good health, which he knows because he received a medical checkup after the debate. He even knocked on wood "for effect," Politico reported.

Who is telling the truth? Biden or Karine?

It appears that KJP and Kirby don't like some of the questions holding their feet to the fire

It would appear that the White House is now cracking down on media members it does not want in the briefing room.

Due to some outbursts in the room since Biden has taken over, KJP and Joe are cooking up some new rules.

The rules are scheduled to go into effect in July.

Media members now have until July to prove “accreditation by a press gallery in either the Supreme Court, U.S. Senate or U.S. House of Representatives.”

Additionally, all reporters must “submit to any necessary investigation by the U.S. Secret Service to determine eligibility for access to the White House complex, where Secret Service will determine eligibility based on whether the applicant presents a potential risk to the safety or security of the President, the Vice President, or the White House complex.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is lashing out at the White House after White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made it clear that activating the Florida National Guard in response to the rising number of illegal boat landing was one of the governor’s “political stunts.”

“We have seen Governor DeSantis do political stunts. That is how he perceives to fix this issue from Florida,” Jean-Pierre said at the press briefing this week. 

“We’re talking about people coming from countries who are dealing with political strife, who are dealing with issues where they’re trying to find asylum. And he treats them like pawns. So we have called that out, over and over again. And we will continue to do that,” she added.
