Todd Blanche Fires Back at Adam Schiff: ‘You Can’t Accuse Me… and Then Lie’

Todd Blanche had a tense moment with Sen. Adam Schiff during Wednesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing.

Blanche, President Trump’s pick for attorney general, appeared before the panel as senators pressed him on his record, his work at the Justice Department, and his past role as Trump’s personal attorney.

Trump announced last month that he had nominated Blanche to serve as attorney general. The night before the hearing, Trump praised Blanche and urged the Senate to confirm him.

“Todd Blanche is doing a PHENOMENAL job as Acting Attorney General of the United States. Under Todd’s incredible leadership at DOJ, Murder is down to the LOWEST level since 1900, and we just saw the biggest one year drop in RECORDED HISTORY,” Trump said on Tuesday evening.

Schiff used part of his questioning to focus on volume II of Jack Smith’s report involving Trump. He accused Blanche of having a conflict of interest because Blanche previously represented Trump before joining the Justice Department.

Schiff also suggested Blanche played a role in keeping that portion of Smith’s report from being released to the public. Blanche did not let the accusation slide.

Former high level CIA official arrested--never vetted

A former senior C.I.A. official, David J. Rush, has been arrested after federal investigators say they found a massive stash of valuables inside his Virginia home, including about 303 gold bars, roughly $2 million in cash, and around 35 luxury watches.

Court records say the gold bars weighed about one kilogram each and were valued at more than $40 million, making the seizure one of the most eye-catching federal cases tied to a former intelligence official in recent memory.

According to investigators, Rush is accused of stealing public money after allegedly using false claims about his education, military service, and aviation background to secure government employment and benefits. Federal filings say he claimed hundreds of hours of military leave after being discharged from the Navy Reserve, resulting in about $77,000 in compensation.

Officials also allege he requested large amounts of foreign currency and gold bars from his employer between late 2025 and early 2026 for supposed work-related expenses.

The case has raised major questions because the current charge focuses on alleged public money theft, while the discovery of more than $40 million in gold points to a much larger mystery.

Investigators have not publicly explained the full origin of the gold or whether more charges could follow. Rush remains in custody as the case moves forward in federal court, and prosecutors are expected to keep digging into how a former high-level official allegedly ended up with hundreds of gold bars inside his home.

Michael Prescott, was an independent adviser to the BBC for years, and sent a dossier to its board last month, the report said.

The documentation accused the BBC, which is paid for by taxpayers in the U.K., of having a widespread bias against Trump, on the Gaza war and on the transgender debate.

"Prescott explained how the BBC – often described as the world's 'most trusted' broadcaster – 'completely misled' viewers during an episode of the program Panorama which aired a week before the election by showing the president telling supporters he was going to walk to the Capitol with them to 'fight like hell.'"

The analysis revealed that Trump actually said he would walk with them "to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

He ended up not being allowed by Secret Service to walk with the crowd.

The network created Trump saying things he "never actually said" by editing and splicing footage of his speech, the report said.

Part of Trump’s agenda is cutting waste, fraud, and abuse through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). And that has the Left hopping mad.

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tried to push back DOGE’s popular spending cuts by raging at Americans who don’t like to pay taxes. Schumer repeated the trope that Americans are greedy if they like to keep their hard-earned money.

He went on ABC’s The View and said, “The Republican party are controlled by a small group of wealthy, greedy people. You know what their attitude is, ‘I made my money all by myself, how dare your government take my money from me. I don’t want to pay taxes.’”

Schumer apparently does not know that Kamala Harris got more support from billionaires and from Wall Street.

Elon Musk is threatening to sue former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) after Bowman made inflammatory remarks about the tech billionaire during a CNN roundtable discussion.

Really? Hegseth has decades of experience in the armed forces, has been a combat soldier for extended periods of time, is an Army veteran of Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantánamo Bay, has earned two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman Badge for his time overseas, and has written several books about the military.

whoopi? Well, she’s a co-host of The view, so I guess she would know best. Of course, the Left is really concerned about 2 things. They know that Hegseth is not a fan of the wokeness that has overtaken the military in recent years … and that he will defend the Constitution, not the corrupt bureaucracy that they currently run and adore.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Warren took to ‘X’ to state of Hegseth: “A Fox & Friends weekend co-host is not qualified to be the Secretary of Defense” before adding, “I lead the Senate military personnel panel,” and: “All 3 of my brothers served in uniform. She conveniently forgot to mention Hegseth’s extensive and exemplary service record. Was she also implying that perhaps she would have been a better pick because she sits on a panel and her 3 brothers were in the military?

Another preposterous lie was told by james carville, who said on his ‘Politics War Room’ podcast that conservative media and Republicans frequently are dishonest, while mainstream corporate media holds left-wing/democrats accountable, preventing them from spreading misinformation.

Huh? Talk about projection! carville went on to state, “our side won't tolerate lies,” which is itself a lie … one impossible to surpass. We need a word even stronger and more definitive than ‘preposterous’ for a lie of such Biblical proportions.

Neo-liberals/democrats and their sycophants in the mainstream media not only tolerate lies, they create them, craft them, tell them, caress them, love them, promulgate them, stick to them, and double down on them.

Yet in the modern era, it was not Trump who put large numbers of U.S. residents and citizens into “relocation camps,” but liberal Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt who sent Japanese-American citizens and residents into them.

If Harris refers to Trump’s supposed fascist policies during his prior four-year tenure, there is no such evidence.

Nonetheless, the once “joyful” Harris is ending her campaign by trafficking in lies and smears reminiscent of the Joe McCarthy era.

But a State Guardsman from Florida just made the media pay instantly for this big lie about the hurricane.

Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida but the worst damage from the storm was in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. A record amount of rainfall created historic flooding in the region which left entire towns under water, and simply wiped out others.

Despite the devastation in his own state, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was able to quickly stabilize things after Helene hit. He then launched Operation Blue Ridge to send personnel from Florida state agencies to assist with search and rescue missions and disaster relief in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.

Guardsman Jonathan Howard of the unit was working on aerial rescues. He reported that everything coming out of the mainstream media about North Carolina was a lie.

“I had my team up here working as well. Here’s the problem,” Howard said. “I’m going to tell you everything that’s happening from the ground, what I’m actually seeing, because what they’re telling you is complete bulls**t on the news and these politicians don’t have a f**king clue and they’re lying.”

I love debating about the Donald Trump cases because they are a perfect example of the justice system picking and choosing who it prosecutes.

That aside, Trump has always maintained that these cases were political prosecutions. Joe Biden may have just proved his point for him.

Virtually every president, after leaving office, takes classified documents to write their memoirs. Heck, Joe Biden had boxes of them, and he was not even president, nor was he prosecuted.

Donald Trump did pay hush money and he did classify it as a business expense, something that would usually get a fine, not result in dozens of felony charges.

So, you see where I am going with this… the system selectively targeted Trump in these cases to hurt him politically, and Joe Biden wants to see him in jail, and even admitted as much.

During a recent rally for Harris in Philadelphia, Biden stated, “He got the sentence kicked back, but I want to watch that sentence. Look, Donald Trump is not running for you. He’s running for himself. I think he’s running to stay out of jail.”
