White House Locked Down After Armed Man Shot Near Complex

White House enters emergency lockdown after armed man shot near Trump

The White House went on lockdown Monday afternoon after reports of gunfire near the complex in Washington, D.C. Reporters inside the building were moved fast into the briefing room, while others were pulled away from their camera positions as the security response got underway.

One report from the scene said shots were fired near 15th and Independence, close to the White House perimeter. The area was quickly locked down as officials worked to figure out what was happening and where the threat might be coming from.

Reporter Susan Crabtree also described the confrontation this way: “When the Secret Service officers confronted the man, it went sideways, and they ended up shooting him, sources in the Secret Service community told RealClearPolitics,”. RealClearPolitics reported that the man was in custody and that he did have a gun.

Palm Beach State College was on Lockdown

College alert used term 'active shooter' though investigators say gun was never discharged

Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth Beach campus briefly went into lockdown Tuesday afternoon after an altercation involving three people, including one believed to be a female student and two males who are not enrolled at the college.

According to school officials, the incident occurred at 2:05 p.m. and involved a gun, though investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the weapon was never fired. As part of its standard safety protocol, the college immediately issued a campuswide lockdown.

An all-clear was given at 2:30 p.m., and normal operations resumed shortly after. One male suspect is in custody, according to the college.

CBS12 News is working to get clarification from the college on why the term “active shooter” appeared in the campuswide alert if investigators say the gun was never discharged. [WPEC-12]

13 of the top 15 states governed by Republicans best at handling Covid-19

California, New York handled COVID-19 lockdowns the worst, Florida among the best, a new study shows

Some liberal states 'had high age-adjusted death rates and high unemployment'

A new study has graded states by how well they handled the coronavirus pandemic and its subsequent restrictions and lockdowns, showing a stark contrast between liberal and conservative states.

The Committee To Unleash Prosperity study compared state performance on metrics including the economy, education, and mortality from the virus, and examined how states and their respective governments handled the pandemic response.

"Shutting down their economies and schools was by far the biggest mistake governors and state officials made during COVID, particularly in blue states," Steve Moore, co-founder of the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, told Fox News Digital. "We hope the results of this study will persuade governors not to close schools and businesses the next time we have a new virus variant."

Slowing America's Economy

Dems Admit COVID Rhetoric Backfired, Media Scrambles To Fix.

Could Cost Them Mid-Terms & Much MORE!

We will put up with a lot but we do not put up with a crappy economy.

The media knows this and now they are doing everything to get virtue signaling COVID shut in progressives out of the house because local economies need them. The media understands if the economy continues on this downward trend come the 2022 mid-terms Republicans could have a super majority that could override a veto.

Read what some have said

While at the Lake Worth Playhouse on Sunday, everyone wore a mask while entering; they no longer are taking everyone's temperature and while inside, no one wore a mask. The Playhouse has given up its mask policy unless one insists on still wearing one. All our businesses should follow suit.

I am the first to admit that it has changed my life as I no longer frequent businesses as I did before Covid because of the mask. We all will be estatic once our economy reopens.

A Collusion of Stupidity

‘Collusion of stupidity’: National Guard extension at Capitol confounds experts

And just like that....... The National Guard is poised to become permanent in our nation's capitol.

Another step toward becoming a Banana Republic

"A report to Congress lead by retired Lefty African/American/Creole Retired Army Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré recommended a quick reaction force always on the ready to respond to capital emergencies that could be composed of National Guard members on three- to six-month rotations."

Remember him? He's the one that called Josh Hawley A 'Little Piece Of Sh*t,' And "Josh 'N' Tucker Are MAAAAAAAD"

Trump Rally Crowd shouted "Lock her Up!"

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) sure is hypocritical, even for a politician.

"Just weeks after deadly ricin poisoning was mailed to President Trump, Whitmer prominently displayed an “8645” sign in the background of the camera during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” When the term “86” is applied to a person it often carries the meaning of killing the individual.

Whitmer herself was the recent target of a kidnapping plot led by anti-Trump anarchists enraged over the governor’s strict lockdown orders. The lefties’ plot was foiled by the FBI and the governor projected the left-wing violence on to President Trump. But Democrats like Whitmer have spent the last four years inciting violence against President Trump and his supporters." {nationalinsiders.com]

"Whitmer is encouraging assassination attempts against President Trump just weeks after someone sent a Ricin-laced package to the White House," Trump's campaign said on Twitter.

Gov Whitmer being sued by her own Legislature

Michigan House Rejects Lockdown Extension, Votes To Sue Gov. Whitmer Instead

“The current status quo relies on one-size-fits-all edicts that unfairly punish millions of people across the state without giving them any recourse or voice in the process.

Additionally, at least four sheriffs announced they will not be enforcing some of the governor’s orders, calling them an 'overstepping' of executive authority."

Beach Tenants want the City to give them Rent Concessions

Coronavirus Florida: Lake Worth Beach mulls ways to help businesses that pay rent to the city

Well, of course...who is surprised about this coming from our leaders in this liberal, progressive, socialist city. Oh, am I being too harsh?

On Friday, March 27, 2020, the President signed into law the CARES Act, which contains $376 billion in relief for American workers and small businesses...This loan provides up to $10,000 of economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing temporary difficulties. The loan relief doesn't even have to be repaid.

But our tenants at the beach have appealed to their landlord, the City of Lake Worth, for even more relief. They'll take just about anything.

"The Commission will meet on May 5 and will consider a handful of options that include rent forgiveness, deferral of rent payments or some combination of both."

We are all sympathetic that businesses have had to close during this pandemic and people have lost their jobs but when you open a business you take on all the risks. The federal government is helping out everyone.

Lockdowns Harmful

Microbiologists: Testing shows lockdowns are actually harmful

Doctors say death rate similar to flu, and sheltering at home weakens immunity

Last night, I saw these two doctors on Fox...Drs. Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi, co-owners of Accelerated Urgent Care in Bakersfield, California, told reporters their testing and the data worldwide indicate the case fatality rate is less than one-tenth of 1%.
