We are in the dawn of a New Year with exciting prospects to Make America Great Again, restoring the principles of faith, freedom, and integrity that have long defined America, the greatest country on Earth.

And we will continue to bring you conservative topics and President Trump's achievements in spite of the few Trump hater trolls who continue to have their head in the sand. Perhaps in 2025, as the economy improves, they might pull a Joe Manchin.

Well, it looks like Donald Trump has claimed the decisive victory he was hoping for.

Winning both the popular vote and the electoral college gave him the mandate many felt he needed if he was going to be able to actually bring about the many changes he promised on the campaign trail. Adding to his momentum, the Senate flipped red, and the House looks like it’s going to follow suit.

It seems we’ve witnessed a true “red wave”—a loud and clear rejection of the far-left policies that have been shoved down our throats since 2020.

Trump did something I don’t remember having ever seen a politician do before. He built a truly non-partisan coalition, and Americans showed up big-time to support it. [Connor Boyak]

1. 99-YEAR LEASE FOR MANAGING THE SNOOK ISLANDS NATURE AREA AS A NATURE PRESERVE The present Charter provides that City-owned property shall not be leased for more than 20 years without the affirmative vote of the majority of the electors of the City. Through a lease agreement with the City, the County currently manages the Snook Islands Nature Area as a nature preserve. This referendum will extend the lease to allow the County to manage the site as a nature preserve for ninety-nine (99) years.

Shall the above described amendment be adopted?
NO As it turned out, the 99 year lease was a good decision.

OPERATE NEW YOUTH RECREATION CENTER,

Biden Goes 40 Seconds Without Blinking, Raising Health Concerns

Many people saw this and wondered if Biden was juiced up on Adderall. I dunno, but he looks like he’s on something. Who doesn’t blink for 17-seconds straight? That’s weird. Also, why was he so hyped-up and angry, too?

But he was recording from his basement!

He’s so ticked off about January 6th, which happened like two years ago, where the only person who died was an unarmed Trump supporter. Still, he doesn’t care about the left-wing “Summer of Love” where BLM and Antifa burned down the country, intimidated and injured innocent Americans, and 21 people died.

Try not blinking! This was like a robot speaking.

Whistleblowers allege double standard in bureau's investigations

FBI whistleblowers allege the agent in charge of the Washington field office not only helped cover up derogatory information on the Biden family's influence peddling operation, he also was "deeply involved" in the decision to open the investigation against President Trump of so-called "fake electors."

The agent, Timothy Thibault, is named in the letter Monday to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray from Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, presenting evidence of a double standard in how the DOJ and the FBI pursue cases. The senator wrote that whistleblowers allege Thibault and analyst Brian Auten opened an assessment that was used by an FBI headquarters team "to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease."

Thibault was removed from decision making but he should have been fired.

CHIPS Act Passes: House Approves $280 Billion Bill To Boost Microchip Production And Counter China

Now, this seems like a bill that makes sense to me even though it is expensive. Perhaps its benefits far outweigh the concern and real worries about inflation. But Biden is touting more spending with the Pro-Climate Inflation Reduction bill for $369 billion!

"Proponents of the CHIPS bill have cast it as a way of easing the ongoing microchip shortage and helping the U.S. semiconductor industry catch up with East Asia, which produces roughly 75% of the world’s chips. The United States imports many of its high-tech chips from Taiwan, but China has expanded production recently. A strong domestic semiconductor industry is “critical to the economic growth and national security of the United States,” the Senate bill states."

According to the Commerce Secretary, the CHIPS bill could fund both U.S. companies and foreign companies looking to invest in manufacturing inside the U.S.

The legislation forbids discussing graphic sex with children nine years and younger. But, the lawsuit could be a good thing. Liberals kept pushing for more and more abortions and then they filed the Dodds lawsuit that led to the reversal of Roe v Wade.

China is buying billions in US farmland and lawmakers are scrambling to try to stop them

U.S. lawmakers are acting with increased concern as Chinese purchasers are buying tens of thousands of acres of U.S. farmland.

As of the start of 2020, Chinese investors owned about 192,000 acres of U.S. agricultural land valued at about $1.9 billion, according to Politico. While Chinese land ownership in the U.S. is less than that of other foreign nations, the growth in Chinese land ownership is part of an overall trend in China rapidly buying up other country’s farmland over more than a decade.

Revelations from a groundbreaking exclusive CNN story published on July 23 about telecommunications equipment from China’s Huawei installed in rural America suggest that Chinese land purchases could pose a severe national security threat as well.

China’s state-supported telecommunications giants, Huawei and ZTE, sold cell tower equipment and routers, often at a loss, to small, rural telecommunications providers in the heartland. Much of the made-in-China equipment was installed adjacent to the land-based leg of America’s nuclear triad — the 400 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) — in Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wyoming.

As everyone knows, President Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a phone conversation for over two hours Thursday morning. Now the China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs disputes the White House's claim that Biden addressed "genocide" and "forced labor" on a call with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

His press secretary said that genocide and forced labor was brought up by Biden in the conversation. The Chinese MDA denied it.

I miss the former owner of Kilwin's, Raffy Abraham. He was on our beach since 2012 and sold his shop last year to lovely owners. If you recall, he had another store at The Lucerne.
