As a businessman, he assumes that both sides want to reach a deal that allows them to walk away with something. But the mullahs and military militants running Iran don’t care about making any deal, they only care about maintaining their grip on power.
They’re not afraid of sanctions because they steal their riches off the top and don’t care if their people starve. They also don’t care if Iranians die because they kill their own people by the tens of thousands themselves.
The only way to stop them is a full-on ground war where we send in troops to kill them all.
