White House has invoked executive privilege

over 200 records related to Hunter Biden’s business dealings during his father’s tenure as Vice President

America First Legal (AFL), a prominent legal advocacy group, recently launched a lawsuit to obtain records from the National Archives (NARA) pertaining to Hunter Biden’s business interactions during the Obama administration.

The lawsuit specifically sought communications between January 2011 and December 2013 that mentioned Hunter Biden’s company, “Rosemont Seneca.” AFL’s aim was to shed light on any potential conflicts of interest and undue influence that may have existed between the Office of the Vice President and Hunter Biden’s business ventures.

In response to AFL’s records request, NARA refused to release the majority of the requested documents, citing executive privilege. NARA claimed that disclosing these records would reveal “confidential advice” exchanged between then-Vice President Joe Biden and White House advisers.

These ventures included partnerships with entities linked to the Chinese Communist Party and significant financial transactions involving the state-controlled Bank of China. One of the most notable joint ventures was BHR Partners, in which Hunter Biden’s company, Skaneateles LLC, held a ten percent equity stake.

"Former President Donald Trump's administration has not turned over all presidential records and the National Archives will consult with the Justice Department on whether to move to get them back, the agency has told Congress.

A congressional panel on Sept. 13 sought an urgent review by the National Archives and Records Administration after agency staff members acknowledged that they did not know if all presidential records from Trump's White House had been turned over."

Well, the FBI made a ridiculous move on Mar-A-Lago...On August 8, 30 FBI agents in there for 9 hours confiscating everything they could get their hands on. Now the National Archives is complaining they didn't get everything?

This government, all across the Board, is inept and political to our detriment.

The AP “fact-check” in early August of this year stated such claims were false.
