They live Among Us

Children of Somalia’s Former Dictator Reportedly Live in Ohio

Amid Questions Over Regime Tied to Up to 200,000 Deaths

A Quiet Ohio Life Raises Old Wounds A New York Post investigation reportedly identified the adult children of former Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre living quiet suburban lives in Columbus, Ohio.

Ayanle Mohamed Siad and Deka Mohamed Siad settled in the United States after their father was overthrown in 1991. Their reported presence has stirred pain in Columbus’s Somali community, where some refugees and families carry memories of the 21-year military dictatorship. The issue is not merely where two people live. It is how victims experience a regime’s legacy when members of its ruling family appear to have found ordinary American lives.

Barre seized power in a 1969 coup and ruled Somalia through political repression and military violence. The regime’s campaign against the Isaaq people in northern Somalia was marked by mass killings, destroyed cities, poisoned wells, and widespread displacement. Estimates of those killed reach as high as 200,000.

Ali-Guban Mohamed, whose family members were reportedly executed by Barre’s forces, told the Post: “Siad Barre and his men committed so many war crimes, so I was shocked to see his son in the mosque enjoying his freedom.” That reaction shows why the Columbus account has reopened old wounds.

Ayanle, 61, has been described by historian Mohamed Haji Ingiriis as his father’s “right-hand man.” Ingiriis told the Post that Ayanle held significant power during the dictatorship’s final years and at one point acted as the de facto ruler while Barre was incapacitated. He also said Ayanle could appoint and dismiss regime authorities on his father’s behalf.

Those are serious historical claims, and they explain why the son’s reported life in a Columbus suburb draws attention far beyond a routine immigration story. A family relationship alone proves nothing, but reported political power is a different question.

Nut Job breached security at JD Vance's home

Ohio man pleads guilty to smashing windows at JD Vance's Cincinnati home with a hammer

William D. DeFoor, 26, pleaded guilty in federal court to vandalizing Vice President JD Vance's Cincinnati residence, an attack that destroyed historic windows and caused more than $28,000 in damage to government security equipment.

The attack damaged components of an enhanced security system the U.S. government had installed on each window of the property. That equipment alone was valued at more than $28,000. DeFoor also broke 14 historic window panes across the front of the home, AP News reported during earlier proceedings. The full cost of the destruction has not been publicly disclosed beyond the security equipment figure.

DeFoor entered his guilty plea Tuesday in the Southern District of Ohio, admitting to two federal offenses: acts of physical violence against government officials or property, and willful injury or depredation of U.S. government property. The charges stem from a January 5 incident in which DeFoor, armed with a hammer, breached the property line of Vance's home and went on a destructive rampage while the vice president and his family were in Washington, D.C.

Secret Service agents stationed at the residence first spotted DeFoor near the front fence around midnight. He moved past the driveway entrance and targeted an unmarked federal law enforcement vehicle blocking the drive, Fox News Digital reported. DeFoor struck the vehicle's driver's side window three times with the hammer, then turned on the home itself, smashing large, historic glass windows across the front of the residence.

Agents ordered DeFoor to stop and drop the weapon. He ignored every command. He then tried to flee on foot before Secret Service agents and Cincinnati police officers caught and detained him.

Sherrod Brown running again in Ohio

Sherrod Brown is lying to voters about his border record

Sherrod Brown Backs Border Crackdown Now But Voters Know Better

Republicans are turning up the heat on Democrat Sherrod Brown after he said he supports “closing the border” in a recent interview, arguing the Ohio Senate hopeful is trying to rewrite a long record on illegal immigration just days before the state’s primary election.

“I support closing the border to people so they just can’t cross the border at will, but I also say we, of course, should be deporting people that have committed a crime, surely,” Brown said last month. That comment quickly drew attention because Brown spent years voting against many of the border and enforcement measures that Republicans say were needed to protect the country.

Brown served three Senate terms before losing in 2024 to Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio. Now he is trying to climb back into Washington, this time in a race that is already expected to be a major battleground. Immigration is once again at the center of the fight.

According to Republicans, Brown’s record tells a very different story from his latest remarks. During his years in Congress and the Senate, he voted multiple times to protect federal money for sanctuary cities. He also co-sponsored the 2019 End Mass Deportation Act, which aimed to roll back Trump-era enforcement priorities and cut off funding tied to sanctuary policies.

GOP critics point to other votes as well. Brown voted against giving ICE “sufficient resources to detain and deport a higher number of illegal aliens who have been convicted of a crime.” He also voted against funding aimed at stopping criminal aliens from getting amnesty and voted against money for deporting criminal aliens back in 2001.

Brown has also been a repeated critic of the southern border wall. He has called the idea “stupid,” “wrong” and “ludicrous,” and he voted to cancel Trump’s border wall projects in 2021 and against restarting construction in 2023. Republicans say that adds up to a clear pattern, not a sudden shift.

Lying Democrat Caught

Supreme Court Blocks Progressive Candidate’s Bid to Infiltrate Ohio GOP Primary After Lying About Party Affiliation

“calculated strategy” to run Democrats as Republicans in “deep red districts” to “get a foot in the door.”

There’s a certain sacred trust embedded in every election. When a candidate raises their hand and swears an oath about who they are, voters take them at their word. It’s the foundation of self-governance; the belief that the person on the ballot is exactly who they claim to be.

But what happens when that trust is weaponized? When a candidate signs their name to a sworn declaration, knowing full well it’s a calculated lie designed to deceive the very voters they’re asking to support them?

Seriously—what kind of person does that?

ANSWER: A Democrat.

Another Democrat Lunatic

'I am going to kill Donald Trump': Candidate for Ohio state attorney general announces plan to execute president

'The litmus test for Democrat candidates is who can be the most criminally extreme. THIS is the NEW Democrat party. There's no more moderates'

A Democrat running for Ohio attorney general is openly saying he's looking to "kill Donald Trump," using "capital punishment" to execute the president after a trial.

Elliot Forhan posted a video of himself on social media, stating: "I want to tell you what I mean when I say that I am going to kill Donald Trump."

"I mean I'm going to obtain a conviction rendered by a jury of his peers at a standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt based on evidence, presented at a trial conducted in accordance with the requirements of due process, resulting in a sentence, duly executed, of capital punishment."

Meanwhile, Forhan's Republican opponent for attorney general is Keith Faber, who reacted with his own video, saying: "That kind of vile comment makes it clear that Elliot Forhan is not qualified to be attorney general."

JD Vance's home was subject of vandalism

Vance’s Home Broken Into

With the motive of illegal entry

An unidentified man was arrested early Monday after smashing windows at the Cincinnati home of Vice President JD Vance.

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi confirmed the suspect was detained by members of the protective agency and taken into custody by local cops on suspicon of property damage.

“The residence was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and the Vice President and his family were not in Ohio,” said Guglielmi.

The Associated Press, citing two law enforcement officials, reported that Secret Service agents heard a loud noise at the home around midnight and found the suspect had broken a window with a hammer and was trying to get into the house.

The man had also vandalized a Secret Service vehicle on his way up the driveway, one of the officials said.

Minnesota's shadow looms over Ohio

Red State Outed in New Somali Childcare Fraud Scandal, RINO Governor Ignores It

Red State Outed in New Somali Childcare Fraud Scandal, RINO Governor Ignores It

The ‘Cost of Doing Business’ Is Betrayal

While patriots like Josh Williams are ready to fight, the Mike DeWine administration is content to point to flimsy “anti-fraud measures” that they implicitly admit are broken. They see a raging fire and respond by drafting a memo about the historical prevalence of arson.

This weak-kneed response is an insult to every Ohioan. It signals that the governor’s mansion is occupied by an administrator, not a leader. In an era where conservatives are demanding fighters who will defend their values and their wallets, Governor DeWine has shown he is merely a caretaker of a corrupt system.

And here’s the truly infuriating part. This isn’t some brand-new scheme nobody saw coming. We’ve already seen this horror movie. It played out right next door in Minnesota, which was rocked by one of the largest COVID-era fraud schemes in the nation. Hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars were stolen through fake meal programs, much of it orchestrated within the state’s large Somali community.

The warning signs for Ohio could not be clearer. As the Breitbart report notes, “Columbus is the second largest home to Somalis in the country after Minneapolis, Minnesota.” This is not an attack on a community; it is a recognition of a pattern.

A massive, brazen fraud was perpetrated by members of a specific community in one state, and now an identical situation is brewing in another state with a large population from that same community.

Governor DeWine to choose J.D. Vance's Senate replacement

Ohio Governor Working On Filling JD Vance's Senate Seat

Governor Mike DeWine is tasked with a significant decision: selecting a replacement for Senator JD Vance, who recently ascended to the vice presidency.

Ohio's political landscape is in flux as Governor DeWine prepares to appoint a senator to serve until 2026. The Columbus Dispatch reported that Vance's election to the vice presidency has vacated his U.S. Senate seat, just two years after his initial Senate victory.

Governor DeWine now holds the responsibility of appointing Vance's successor, who will serve alongside the newly elected Senator Bernie Moreno.

The appointee will assume office when Vance officially resigns, which is typically when new senators take their oaths in early January. This appointee will then serve until the 2026 elections, where Ohio voters will decide who will complete the final two years of Vance’s term.

Cats and Furry Friends population is down 🤣

The mainstream media has been laughing at Donald Trump’s claims that pets were being eaten by Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio — but a reporter's recent findings might just confirm the former president’s claims.

The reporter, who was visiting outside Springfield, Ohio, stumbled upon what he believed to be a skinned cat sizzling on a barbecue.

“The reporter found that there’s a lot of good evidence that it actually is happening,” Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed” comments. “I don’t know if it’s prevalent, I don’t know if all Haitians are eating all cats in the area, I don’t know. But apparently, it’s happened.”

While it was just outside of Springfield where this happened, Gray notes that “it was a Haitian refugee, and it was a cat, and it was being barbecued.”

Lots of humor in this video.

Sheriff's Office removed from Security Detail for getting Political

Ohio Sheriff Removed From Election Security After Comments on Harris Yard Signs

The Portage County Board of Elections in Ohio has voted to remove the sheriff’s office from its election security plan after the sheriff made a controversial post about people who display yard signs in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Portage County Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski came under fire after posting on his personal Facebook account a screenshot of a Fox News segment that criticized the Biden–Harris administration for the border crisis.

In the Sept. 13 post, Zuchowski suggested to “write down all the addresses of the people who had [Harris] signs in their yards” so they will know where to send illegal immigrants, whom he referred to as “human locust.” 😆

Woman stomped cat to death and ate it

Woman with ‘Fur on Her Lips’ Arrested for Eating Cat in Ohio

Police in Ohio have released grisly footage of a woman who allegedly stomped on a cat’s head before feasting on the animal in full view of horrified witnesses.

Allexis Ferrell, 27, was found with ‘fur on her lips and blood on her hands’ when police were called by shocked neighbors in the town of Canton on August 16.

Ferrell is a native of the town, which is 172 miles from Springfield – where claims that Haitian migrants are ‘eating pets’ have sparked a national scandal. [truepress]

Democrat took campaign donations from dead person

Sen. Sherrod Brown took campaign donations from dead woman

Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown's campaign has been caught doing something that is generally frowned upon. Brown's campaign accepted donations from a woman who had been dead for months, records show.

How often do these things happen?

This isn't likely to help Brown's reputation, and he is already locked in a tight fight for reelection with Republican Bernie Moreno ho got Trump's endorsement.

Despite the small amount, it is illegal. Brown's campaign knew they couldn't accept donations from dead people, yet it happened anyway.

If you believe this was all just one big misunderstanding, then I've got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

Biden just didn't follow the well-established rule

Democrats face possibility Biden might not be on Ohio ballot!

Law requires candidate's name BEFORE party nominating convention

Democrats in power in Washington, and in certain states, have spent months and likely uncounted dollars trying to get President Donald Trump banned from the 2024 presidential ballot.

They've pushed the "insurrectionist" talking point over the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol, ever since those events happened.

They've worked at the state level, in Colorado, to obtain a ruling from an all-Democrat state Supreme Court that his name shouldn't appear. Of course that agenda was stopped in its tracks by the U.S. Supreme Court.

In a letter to Democrat party chief Liz Walters, LaRose confirmed, "The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to convene on August 19, 2024, which occurs more than a week after the August 7 deadline to certify a presidential candidate to the office…"

Operation Buyer’s Remorse

Over 100 Survivors Rescued and 160 Arrests Made in North East Ohio Human Trafficking Sting

Including EMTs, Nurses, and Educators

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced on Monday the successful outcome of a week-long statewide operation to address human trafficking, aptly named ‘Operation Buyer’s Remorse’.

The purpose of this initiative was to identify and apprehend those looking to purchase sex and also recognize the survivors of human trafficking.

“Operation Buyer’s Remorse” is a weeklong statewide human trafficking crackdown in Ohio. The operation was led by the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force and local law enforcement agencies.

“Law enforcement across Ohio teamed up in a concerted effort to stem the demand that fuels human trafficking,” Yost said.

Buttigieg finally showed up to East Palestine

East Palestine Mayor Meets Rudy Giuliani, Leaving Buttigieg Waiting in Hall

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg waited 20 days to visit the wreckage of this month's Ohio train derailment and toxic fallout, and he reportedly was left waiting 30 minutes more Thursday.

Buttigieg was in East Palestine, Ohio; but town Mayor Trent Conaway was meeting with former President Donald Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, leaving the transportation secretary waiting in the hall.

"I've grown concerned about the lack of a response by our federal government to help the people of East Palestine," Giuliani told the Daily Mail. "I wanted to offer my knowledge and experience when dealing with crisis management and most importantly — to help the people here who are our fellow Americans."

Too many strange "coincidences"

Strange Coincidence One Week Before Ohio Train Derailment

"Ever think about how many bizarre things have been happening in our world? There seems to be an ever-increasing number of strange events. If you consider them all together, things are even weirder. Are they all just coincidences? Was it a coincidence that every investigation into a deadly global pandemic was thwarted by an authoritarian dictatorship?

How about the collective Draconian responses by governments all over the world as a result of a virus killing people? And speaking of governments, was it just a fluke that a feeble old man campaigned from his basement during that deadliest health crisis in 100 years and subsequently got more votes than any U.S. presidential candidate in history?

After that remarkable, very suspicious election, this same feeble old man started to wipe out policies in the country that supposedly elected him. Is it a coincidence that Joe Biden slammed the door shut on U.S. energy production at the same time he flung open the door to millions of illegal migrants and deadly illicit drugs?"
