ABC says microphones will be muted during debate despite objections from Harris

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are scheduled to square off in a debate hosted by ABC on September 10.

While the vice president's campaign sought a major change in the rules, ABC has shut that demand down.

As Breitbart noted earlier this week, Trump and President Joe Biden previously agreed that each candidate's microphone would be muted when the other candidate is speaking.

"The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules," he continued.

"If Kamala Harris isn’t smart enough to repeat the messaging points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s their problem," said Jason Miller, Trump's Campaign Adviser.

Actually, she wanted open mics so that she could use her infamous statement, "I'm speaking" against Trump who interrupts when someone is lying or does not knows the facts.

They've worked at the state level, in Colorado, to obtain a ruling from an all-Democrat state Supreme Court that his name shouldn't appear. Of course that agenda was stopped in its tracks by the U.S. Supreme Court.

In a letter to Democrat party chief Liz Walters, LaRose confirmed, "The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to convene on August 19, 2024, which occurs more than a week after the August 7 deadline to certify a presidential candidate to the office…"

I have definitely one owner who has had bizarre outbursts directed at me as president. She has told others she will have my head on a platter at our annual meeting and her lies towards me are incessant. The other one hates rules and has aligned herself with the nut job. I wanted to find out whether they were simply narcissistic or if they might be a psychopath or Sociopath.

I've decided, after viewing this video, that both of the later categories are dangerous and one of these owners falls into one of these categories. They get a perverse pleasure in breaking rules but don't think about consequences...they lie and malign those in authority with whom they disagree and one actually has used cruelty to gain empowerment in her quest for relevance.

Last night's Lake Worth Commission Meeting on Rules of Procedure

Resolution 44-2019 was on last night's agenda to Change the Rules of Procedure of placing items on the Agenda and how long discussion takes place. This was all done for Omari Hardy and his attempted coup of June 25 to get a vote passed when two of our commissioners were out of town. He thought he would have a majority on the dais to agree with him on ADU's with him and Herman Robinson "for" and Scott Maxwell against. Fortunately it didn't work out that way.

The best part of this video is the last 5 minutes.  Scott Maxwell moved to close the discussion and that passed on a 3/2 vote. At that point it should have gone to a workshop as it was over their 30 minute rule.

The Commission then went back to the original motion to approve the Resolution. I asked the city clerk about the original motion and she said, "I believe the motion to approve Resolution 44-2019 was made by Commissioner Maxwell, seconded by Vice Mayor Amoroso and failed by a vote of 2/3 with Amoroso, Robinson and Hardy against. Still confusing.

It looks like Lake Worth will be going down Chaz Steven's road. He doesn't believe in turning the other cheek other than slapping it down.

Is the city cowering in fear of another lawsuit? Wringing their hands?  Their solution to the atheists and satanists is to not invite any pastor to give an invocation; the commission will tackle God's word themselves, if they choose, which they probably won't.  A tiny minority has made it into a game of will and the humongous majority of those who believe in God and those who believe in Free Speech, our Constitution, will probably roll over tomorrow night.

On November 10th's Consent Agenda:
9. CONSENT AGENDA: (public comment allowed during Public Participation of Non-Agendaed items)
A. Resolution No. 59-2015 - amend the Commission's Rules of Procedures to include a policy for Invocation and Moment of Silence.

In the back-up Resolution it says: (7) The Invocation or Moment of Silence shall be offered by the Mayor or a member of the Commission on a rotating basis.

Apparently some people are scared of atheist Chaz Stevens as he has requested that he be among those granted to give his "prayer" message before our city commission meetings. The city doesn't acknowledge that this is a game he's been playing all over Florida where he has brought down city governments. He won't have to worry about inclusion now--No one of any faith will be included other than elected officials.  He won't be able to use Lake Worth for his two minutes of shame.

The commission should be tolerant of all beliefs unless they promote voodoo, bodily harm or self sacrifices. But no, now we will have to listen to an elected official. If they vote to eliminate a 2 minute invocation, this WILL be their legacy...the day the city died.
