Trump Invokes a 1798 law

A 1798 law is being used right now to defend American sovereignty

John Adams wrote it.

Jefferson tried to repeal it the moment he took office. He couldn’t. It had no expiration date.

Donald Trump invoked it on March 15, 2025 — 227 years after Adams signed it.

Same law. Same fight.

Elon merges X with his Artificial Intelligence Company

Elon Musk Sells X to His xAI Company

"Elon Musk said on Friday that his startup xAI has merged with X, his social network, in an all-stock transaction that values the artificial intelligence company at $80 billion and the social media company at $33 billion.

“xAI and X’s futures are intertwined,” Musk, the world’s richest person, wrote in a post on X. “Today, we officially take the step to combine the data, models, compute, distribution and talent.”

Musk launched xAI less than two years ago with a stated goal to “understand the true nature of the universe.” The startup has been trying to compete directly with OpenAI, the richly valued AI startup that Musk co-founded in 2015 as a non-profit research lab. He later left OpenAI and has recently been involved in a public relations and legal spat with the company and CEO Sam Altman over the direction that it’s taken.

xAI has been developing large language models and AI software, competing with OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, Meta, and others. Its chatbot, Grok, is already integrated into X. In June, xAI announced plans to build a supercomputer in Memphis, Tennessee, to train Grok, and by September, part of the system—now called Colossus—was online.

SEC going after Elon now

SEC to Seek Sanctions Against Musk for Not Appearing for Testimony Over Twitter Acquisition

Musk’s attorney argued that his client’s absence was due to an unavoidable emergency regarding the Polaris Dawn launch.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said on Sept. 20 that in plans to pursue sanctions against Elon Musk for not attending court-ordered testimony in connection with the agency’s investigation into his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.

The SEC stated in a filing with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, that it plans to file a motion seeking an order requiring Musk to explain why he should not be held in civil contempt for failing to comply with a May 31, 2024, court order requiring him to testify on Sept. 10 at the SEC’s Los Angeles office.

Well, hell yeah, why not go after the wealthiest man on the planet who is helping the government bring back our stranded astronauts in space.

The SEC wants to know if Musk made timely filings when he acquired Twitter. He turned Twitter into a social media site where people had free speech. What a joke.

Kamala wants to shut down free speech

Musk and RFK Jr. Use Kamala’s Words Against Her, Warn Americans of Her 1st Amendment Issues

Kamala’s own words have come back to haunt her, thanks to X owner Elon Musk and former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. They both just teamed up to sound the alarm about what Harris may do to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, if she wins the presidential election.

Musk warned that Harris potentially would want to “shut down” X if she becomes president. To make this point, he shared a clip from a CNN interview that Harris did back in 2019.

In the interview, she slammed social media sites for “directly speaking to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight and regulation,” something she said “has to stop.”

“Translation: If they don’t police content to conform to government-approved narratives, they will be shut down,” Kennedy wrote in response, agreeing with Musk wholeheartedly.

And Democrats call Trump a "dictator." LOL

“This guy @Alexandre is an outright criminal of the worst kind, masquerading as a judge,” said Elon

Elon's X banned in Brazil

A Brazilian Supreme Court justice on Friday ordered the suspension of Elon Musk’s social media giant X in Brazil after the tech billionaire refused to name a legal representative in the country, according to a copy of the decision seen by The Associated Press.

Justice Alexandre de Moraes had warned Musk on Wednesday night that X could be blocked in Brazil if he failed to comply with his order to name a representative, and established a 24-hour deadline. The company hasn’t had a representative in the country since earlier this month.

In his decision, de Moraes gave internet service providers and app stores five days to block access to X, and said the platform will remain blocked until it complies with his orders. He also said people or companies who use virtual private networks, or VPNs, to access X will be subject to daily fines of 50,000 reais ($8,900).

Musk, a self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist,” has repeatedly claimed the justice’s actions amount to censorship, and his argument has been echoed by Brazil’s political right. He has often insulted de Moraes on his platform, characterizing him as a dictator and tyrant.

Bulldog Jack Smith still after Trump

Jack Smith Uses a Warrant To Ransack Trump’s Twitter Account

Including Direct Messages — for Incriminating Clues

"An unsealed edition of a warrant for the former president’s X account discloses that the special counsel gained access to direct messages, and draft ones.

The unsealing of a redacted search warrant, obtained by Special Counsel Jack Smith in January, to ransack President Trump’s account on X — formerly known as Twitter — surfaces just how deep the prosecutor has dug in his effort to convict the 45th president for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election.

Mr. Smith’s warrant, approved by a court at the District of Columbia, covered “information associated with the Twitter account ‘@realDonaldTrump.’” That “information” comprises the “content of all tweets created, drafted, favorited, liked, or retweeted” by Mr. Trump, “including all such deleted tweets.”

Liberal Advocacy Group, Media Matters manipulated data on X

Texas AG Launches Fraud Probe on Media Matters

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into the left-wing media watchdog group Media Matters for "potential fraudulent activity" following accusations from X CEO Elon Musk.

The billionaire tech mogul accused the group of manipulating data on social media platform X, leading to a mass exodus of advertisers including IBM, Apple, Disney, Lionsgate, and Paramount.

Musk, who had previously promised to hit Media Matters with a "thermonuclear lawsuit," was outraged by a report published by the group on Friday.

The report claimed that X was allowing ads to appear next to "white nationalist hashtags," but Musk believes that this is a misrepresentation of the platform's user experience designed to mislead advertisers. Elon is suing Media Matters.

Debate viewers vs. Trump on X

Fox's Debate Ratings Disaster: 50% Drop Since 2016 Election

Fox News’ first Republican primary debate got a terrible response from American television viewers, with the broadcast losing about half the audience Fox’s kickoff debate had during the 2016 election.

The chairman of Fox, billionaire Rupert Murdoch, claimed in a 2021 email he was seeking to make Trump a "non-person." The reverse has happened since that decision as well as their decision to fire Tucker Carlson.

According to Nielsen, an estimated 12.8 million people watched Wednesday’s Republican debate.

But that’s a decline of almost 50% from the more than 24 million people who tuned in when Donald Trump appeared in his first presidential debate in August 2015, Nielsen reported.

The "Trump effect" was again witnessed in a January 2016 Republican primary debate hosted by Fox News that Trump also skipped — that debate also drew about 12.5 million people.

Trump said he boycotted the Republican debate this week for a number of reasons, including his large lead over other GOP rivals in the polls.

Social media platform X, formerly Twitter, reported that Tucker Carlson's interview with Trump had 236.7 million views — a count of how many times someone scrolled by Carlson's interview with Trump in their feeds.

Elon Musk totally revamping X

Elon Musk Goes to War to Save 1 Big Freedom – He Just Made an Incredible Promise

You’ve probably heard of the phrase “cancel culture.” It’s when far-left Democrats get outraged over something someone does. Usually, it’s something they’ve said that contradicts the left’s radical agenda. The “woke mob” then wages a campaign to get that person–famous or otherwise–fired from their job. Often, cancel culture results in the ruining of someone’s livelihood, all in the name of controlling speech online.

But cancel culture received a huge blow after Elon Musk bought Twitter. He has rapidly transformed the leftist social network into a free speech haven. He’s even re-branding the site, in an apparent attempt to scrub away every trace of its dark, censorship past. And now, he is making a startling vow to everyone who was canceled over something they’ve said. This is huge.

Elon Musk is inviting people who have been “unfairly treated” by an employer for posting something that he will “fund” their legal bill. He said there will be “no limit.”
