Now Democrats are trying to screw Veterans?

Democratic lawmaker lambastes omnibus bill as ‘harmful’ attempt to privatize veterans health care

An omnibus bill, H.R. 8371, to increase community services for disabled and aging veterans and their caretakers was attacked by the top Democrat on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee as a thinly veiled attempt to privatize health services and drain dollars from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

“House Republicans have hijacked a historically bipartisan, bicameral process for veterans’ packages, to push their main priority of privatizing VA health care,” Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif., said about the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act.

Sponsored by Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz., a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, the bill has 21 Republican co-sponsors. No Democrats have signed onto the bill.

But Takano said the scope of the new legislation needs to be scaled back or it will lead to further erosion of support for traditional VA programs.

The bill has received support from veterans organizations, including the Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Joe, he's really an embarrassment

Oh, the Irony! Big-Spending Biden Calls GOP ‘Fiscally Demented,’ and Boy Do They Fire Back

Joe Biden and lying go together like peanut butter and jelly. I mean, let’s be honest: we’re more surprised when the 46th president of the United States tells the truth than when he tells a big fat whopper. But it’s Joe’s world of delusions that’s something else. It’s almost like he caricatures himself on purpose.

Such was the case on Monday when Biden delivered a ridiculous speech — hosted by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, no less — purportedly marking Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. How ridiculous was it? Pandering Joe suggested to the mostly black audience that car insurance is racist and homes owned by black people are worth less than similar homes owned by white people. That ridiculous.

People are all wondering how anyone can be this obtuse. 💩 The world see through him.

Biden attacked the GOP for opposing his out-of-control, drunken-sailor spending habits — most recently, his massive, pork-stuffed, $1.7 trillion omnibus package — ironically calling Republicans “fiscally demented.” 😂

Biden: America spends $millions on border security for foreign countries

Biden won't spend a dime at our border

The $1.7 trillion year-end omnibus spending bill uses hundreds of millions of dollars of American taxpayer money to fund border security initiatives overseas as the United States, at its own border, is projected to set illegal immigration records next year.

President Joe Biden’s administration is projected to oversee 2.6 million border crossers and illegal aliens arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border next year — a figure that would eclipse this year’s record of about 2.3 million encounters. [Breitbart]

Biden's incompetence has endangered America.

White House and Democrats have NO intention of enforcing the law

Page 753 of Spending Bill Includes Sneaky Provisions on Border Funding, But That's Not Worst Part

A provision buried 753 pages deep into the 2023 omnibus bill blocks the Department of Homeland Security from using a new round of funding for enforcing America’s immigration laws.

Sen. Bill Hagerty of Tennessee pointed out that in the bill, both Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement are barred from using a combined $1.9 billion for immigration enforcement in a Tuesday tweet.

ICE and CBP are barred from using federal funds for enforcement in two different ways.

The legislation requires ICE to use its $339 million for “non-detention border management requirements.”

This means they can’t build new facilities to actually detain the illegal aliens who infiltrate the border.

4,155 Pages of $1.7 Trillion Omnibus bill

Rand Paul Wheels Out Pelosi-Schumer's 4,000+ Page Spending Bill on Cart

Shows Just How Absurd It Is

Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul is known for, each year around Christmastime, highlighting the wasteful and thoughtless ways the federal government sees fit to spend your money. Well, he should consider himself lucky this year: Santa brought him a present big enough that it had to be wheeled out onto a stage for all to see.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., took to Twitter on Tuesday to mock the 4,155 page $1.7 trillion omnibus bill that was made public earlier.

Standing behind a cart holding all 4,155 pages of the bill, Paul tweeted "I wonder how long it would take the clerk to read this…"
