Florida AG calls for impeachment after judge acquits mother who killed baby and blamed COVID
Precious Bland of Miami drowned her 15-month-old daughter Emii in a bathtub on Aug. 23, 2021, then proceeded to stab her husband — who attempted to save the infant — in the head and neck. When her stepdaughter tried to grab the drowned toddler, Bland slashed her, then proceeded to cut her own wrists.
According to a police report reviewed by CourtTV, Bland's husband told police that the killer had been ranting about how "COVID is going to kill us all," how Christ's return was imminent, and how she wanted to baptize her family in the bathtub.
'I’m sure that my family is very vigilant now.'
Bland, who subsequently spent four years in jail and additional time on house arrest while awaiting trial, was initially charged with murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, and two counts of aggravated child abuse.
On Tuesday, Miami-Dade Judge Miguel Manuel de la O of the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida found the 43-year-old mother — who admitted to killing her child — not guilty of aggravated manslaughter and first-degree attempted murder by reason of insanity.
Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, went on Fox News this week and didn’t mince words. He called the U.S. practice of automatic birthright citizenship “insane.”
Turley’s point was blunt. He said the country is one of the few in the world that still hands citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil, regardless of their parents’ status. He warned this is being abused and that it poses a real danger to the republic.
That warning landed as the Supreme Court heard arguments about President Donald Trump’s executive order that aimed to end birthright citizenship for children born to illegal aliens. The case has forced the justices to look at the 14th Amendment, its original meaning, and whether modern realities change that meaning.
Turley told the hosts: “The fact that we are one of the few countries that continues to embrace birthright citizenship is perfectly insane, and it is a great danger to this government and to this republic,” Turley said. ” So the question for these justices is not necessarily if they agree with birthright citizenship. I expect the majority does not.”

On Monday, DeSantis’ office notified the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) about threatening messages that were made online to DeSantis.
The FDLE then contacted the local Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and instructed them to investigate the threats.

That’s basically how most Americans react to much of what they see going on around them every single day.
From the Biden administration’s enthusiastic support for amputating body parts of troubled children, to its obsession with bringing as many millions of illegal aliens as possible into America, to its recent demand that U.S. airlines employ more people, including pilots, with “severe intellectual” and “psychiatric” problems, it’s increasingly clear that many of America’s current leaders are, to put it plainly, stark raving mad.
But making this statement is not an exercise in calling one’s political opponents nasty names, as happens so often today.
Rather, it’s about taking a serious look at the reality that America’s current leaders are indeed genuinely insane – in a clinically diagnosable way. We’re talking about rampant sociopathy, psychopathy, Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder and other scary-sounding conditions whose clinical symptom-pictures perfectly match many of today’s leaders.
Of course, many cases of what the secular psychiatric world labels serious “mental illness” ultimately boil down to individuals who, one way or another, willingly or unwillingly, have fallen into the grip of dark spiritual forces.
Yet it’s illuminating to briefly explore how current research in psychiatry – a field ironically dominated largely by the left – nevertheless has concluded that leftist radicals and leaders are, more often than not, “way out there” on the spectrum of serious mental illness.
For example, in a groundbreaking peer-reviewed study published in March 2023, titled “Understanding left-wing authoritarianism: Relations to the dark personality traits, altruism, and social justice commitment,” authors Dr. Ann Krispenz and Dr. Alexander Bertrams found that left-wing extremism is closely associated with “psychopathic tendencies.”
“Narcissistic individuals and those with psychopathic tendencies are more likely to strongly endorse left-wing antihierarchical aggression,” summarized the widely cited PsyPost website, which reports the latest research on human behavior.
“Individuals with dark personalities – such as high narcissistic and psychopathic traits – are attracted to certain forms of political and social activism which they can use as a vehicle to satisfy their own ego-focused needs instead of actually aiming at social justice and equality,” the authors explain.
Stated simply, left-wing psychopaths pretend to care about “social justice and equality,” but in reality are just feeding their massive “ego-focused” lust for power, glory and revenge.

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is housing a man who raped his own daughter in a women’s prison because he said he identifies as a woman himself—and the DOC is refusing to offer any kind of insight or explanation on the matter.
Mark Campbell is currently incarcerated in Taycheedah Correctional Institution, a women’s prison in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, inmate records show. He is a registered sex offender convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
That child was his own 10-year-old daughter, court documents allege. Born in 1971, Campbell is currently 52 years old, weighs 225 pounds, and stands at 5 feet 9 inches, according to the DOC inmate locator.

Vending machines are preferable to a clinic because it removes the task of having to talk to an actual person.
The administration will spend $3.6 million to test how well this works in Appalachia, starting in Northern Kentucky. The kiosks will contain items and substances such as naloxone, syringes, fentanyl test strips and condoms, according to a report from the Washington Free Beacon.
As an alternative to treatment for addiction, the Biden administration is attempting to make illegal drug use safer in some instances. Safe smoking kits and syringe exchanges are other hard reduction initiatives taken by the Biden administration.

It is not just the total amount of electricity required, but the transmission lines and fast charging capacity that must be built at existing filling stations. In order to match the 2,000 cars that a typical filling station can service in a busy 12 hours, an EV charging station would require 600, 50-watt chargers at an estimated cost of $24 million and a supply of 30 megawatts of power from the grid. That is enough to power 20,000 homes. No one likely thinks about the fact that it can take 30 minutes to 8 hours to recharge a vehicle between empty or just topping off. What are the drivers doing during that time?
ICSC-Canada board member New Zealand-based consulting engineer Bryan Leyland describes why installing electric car charging stations in a city is impractical:
“If you’ve got cars coming into a petrol station, they would stay for an average of five minutes. If you’ve got cars coming into an electric charging station, they would be at least 30 minutes, possibly an hour, but let’s say its 30 minutes. So that’s six times the surface area to park the cars while they’re being charged. So, multiply every petrol station in a city by six. Where are you going to find the place to put them?”
The government of the United Kingdom is already starting to plan for power shortages caused by the charging of thousands of EVs. Starting in June 2022, the government will restrict the time of day you can charge your EV battery. To do this, they will employ smart meters that are programmed to automatically switch off EV charging in peak times to avoid potential blackouts.
In particular, the latest UK chargers will be pre-set to not function during 9-hours of peak loads, from 8 am to 11 am (3-hours), and 4 pm to 10 pm (6-hours). Unbelievably, the UK technology decides when and if an EV can be charged, and even allows EV batteries to be drained into the UK grid if required. Imagine charging your car all night only to discover in the morning that your battery is flat since the state took the power back. Better keep your gas-powered car as a reliable and immediately available backup! While EV charging will be an attractive source of revenue generation for the government, American citizens will be up in arms.

The average used EV will need a new battery before an owner can sell it, pricing them well above used internal combustion cars. The average age of an American car on the road is 12 years. A 12-year-old EV will be on its third battery. A Tesla battery typically costs $10,000 so there will not be many 12-year-old EVs on the road.
