Jimmy Kimmel got his show pulled off the air for joking about a conservative's death.

Less than a year ago, ABC yanked Kimmel off the air after FCC Chairman Brendan Carr called his Charlie Kirk death jokes "truly sick" and threatened Disney's broadcast licenses. Nexstar and Sinclair – two of the country's biggest affiliate groups – immediately pulled the show from their stations.

Kimmel returned only after apologizing on air, voice breaking, swearing he never meant to make light of anyone's death.

The show has become a revolving door of left-wing politics disguised as late night entertainment – and now it's openly daring regulators to respond.

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr was blunt when Kimmel's show was suspended last fall: companies either act on their own or face regulatory action.

Jimmy Kimmel bombed acceptance speech with one insult about Donald Trump that was obnoxious

Last September, ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! off the air indefinitely after the host made controversial comments about Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Jimmy Kimmel took the stage Sunday night at the Critics Choice Awards to accept the trophy for Best Talk Show.

Kimmel claimed during his September 15 monologue that the "MAGA gang" was trying to score political points by characterizing Kirk's alleged killer as anything other than one of their own.

Kimmel made sure to thank the person he blamed for nearly ending his career.

"And most of all, I want to thank our president, Donald Jennifer Trump, without whom, we would be going home empty-handed tonight," Kimmel told the audience at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles.

The audience burst out laughing at the intentional mocking of Trump's middle initial...obviously all Democrats.

"So thank you, Mr. President, for all the many ridiculous things you do each and every day," Kimmel continued. "It's been a banner couple of weeks, and we can't wait to get back on the air tomorrow night to talk about them."

Kimmel signed a contract extension with ABC in December that will keep Jimmy Kimmel Live! on the air through 2027.

Trump 'Going to Test ABC Out' After Airing Kimmel Again

An apoplectic President Donald Trump "can't believe" Jimmy Kimmel is back on ABC, but teased potential legal action as "a major illegal campaign contribution."

"I can't believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back," Trump wrote Tuesday night on Truth Social. "The White House was told by ABC that his Show was canceled!

"Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his 'talent' was never there."

Trump railed on Kimmel's political bias and sagging ratings, suggesting litigious action and another lawsuit after Kimmel attempted to suggest conservative leader Charlie Kirk's assassin "was anything but one of theirs."

"Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who's not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE," Trump's post continued.
