An employee of the federal government was just arrested after BETRAYING his country in one of the worst ways possible… simply because he doesn’t like President Donald Trump.According to the DOJ, 28-year-old Nathan Vilas Laatsch, an IT specialist for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) was caught.
The Justice Department says that Laatsch offered to transmit classified information to the foreign government because and was therefore “willing to share classified information.”
The “values” of this administration have been pretty clearly America-first from the start so if Laatsch hates America… then it’s not exactly surprising that he would try to betray it in this way.
Laatsch had Top Secret clearance which means he had access to sensitive materials including “completed intelligence products, some unprocessed intelligence, and other assorted classified documentation.”

Here’s what Title 18 U.S. Code section 2381 actually says:
"Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."
