Just Prove it Governor Walz

Trump administration freezes another $91 million in Minnesota Medicaid funds over fraud concerns

The Trump administration notified Minnesota on Thursday that it is deferring an additional $91 million in Medicaid funding, citing fresh evidence of fraud vulnerabilities in state-run social service programs, a move that pushes the total amount of frozen federal dollars past $300 million and deepens the standoff between Washington and the state Tim Walz governed until recently.

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz announced the deferral in a video statement, tying it directly to federal raids earlier in the week.

On Tuesday, federal agents searched childcare and learning centers and other sites in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area that receive federal Medicaid funding. Two days later, the freeze landed.

The new deferral sits on top of roughly $243 million that Vice President JD Vance told Walz in February was being temporarily withheld over the same category of concerns. CMS approved Minnesota's corrective action plan in March, yet none of that earlier money has been released. Now the bill has grown.

CMS wants documentation before it releases another dollar.

Oz framed the action as cooperative, not punitive:
"This isn't about punishment, it's about partnership and accountability. We're offering Minnesota the support they need to fix these problems. But at the same time, we cannot and will not pay claims that don't meet federal standards. So we're asking for additional documentation to verify these charges."

Massive Medicaid fraud in Maine.

Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali

House panel probes Somali health contractor fraud

Another potential government boondoggle is under the microscope as the House Oversight Committee digs into allegations of massive Medicaid fraud tied to a Somali-led health contractor in Maine.

The investigation centers on Gateway Community Financial Services, with possible links to similar schemes in Minnesota, prompting Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services to slam the brakes on Medicaid payments to the company after damning whistleblower claims and media exposure, as NewsNation reports.

The Oversight Committee was already sniffing around questionable Medicaid dealings among Somali contractors in Minnesota when their radar pinged on Gateway in Maine. NewsNation’s sharp reporting brought this mess into the spotlight.

The committee isn’t messing around, naming Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali, as a person of interest in this unfolding drama. Maine State Rep. Deqa Dhalac, a Democrat and former assistant executive director at Gateway, also landed on the radar.

Even Maine’s Democrat Gov. Janet Mills has gone radio silent on the matter, dodging NewsNation’s calls for a statement. The Maine Department of Health and Human Services also clammed up when pressed for answers.

Somali Fraud in Maine

Taxpayer Alert: Massive Medicaid Fraud Uncovered in Maine’s Somali Community

It's not just in Minnesota

The corrupt underbelly of America’s broken immigration and welfare system has been exposed once again, this time in the state of Maine, where a whistleblower has come forward to allege a massive Somali-led Medicaid fraud scheme.

This scandal is a direct consequence of the open-border, America-last policies championed by the left and their media allies, who would rather cover up this theft than investigate it, because it exposes the catastrophic failure of their progressive utopian vision.

Just as in Minnesota, the city of Lewiston, Maine, has become a hub for this alleged criminal enterprise, where taxpayer dollars meant for the needy are instead being systematically looted.

The whistleblower, Christopher Bernardini, a former employee of the state-contracted organization Gateway Community Services, has blown the lid off this operation.

He describes a brazen system of fraud where, “We started getting some clients calling and saying months later that their client owed them hours. They hadn’t come in for these shifts and stuff. But I had a time card for it.” When asked point-blank if this was fraud, Bernardini stated, “Absolutely. No doubt about it.”

This is the sickening reality that the liberal media refuses to spotlight: a coordinated effort to file false records and bill American taxpayers for services never rendered, draining vital resources from our own citizens.

This is not an isolated incident but a pattern of exploitation made possible by the Democrat Party’s commitment to unchecked immigration and its refusal to enforce basic accountability for how public funds are spent.

Somali Widespread Fraud

Allegations emerge of Somali immigrant-led fraud in blue state of Maine

Maine is now ground zero for a Medicaid fraud scandal that has conservatives fuming and progressives scrambling for cover.

Accusations of widespread fraud tied to Gateway Community Services, a Portland-based outfit led by Somali-American CEO Abdullahi Ali, have erupted, echoing a massive scandal in Minnesota and raising questions about oversight in Democrat-run states, as the Daily Mail reports.

Let’s start with the whistleblower, Christopher Bernardini, who spent seven years as a billing expert at Gateway until he walked away in April 2025. He’s now alleging the organization bilked Maine’s Medicaid program, known as MaineCare, out of millions.

Gateway, under Ali’s leadership, reportedly raked in $28.8 million through MaineCare payments. Reports from The Maine Wire even suggest he bragged about funding a militia back home, which doesn’t exactly scream “trustworthy steward of public funds.”

Ali took to X to push back, declaring, “I make no apologies for building a successful business in Maine, working hard to earn a living, earning my PhD, giving back to my Maine community, and running for office in Jubaland.”

In Minnesota, a jaw-dropping $300 million was allegedly stolen from a federal meals program, with some estimates suggesting the total fraud across schemes could top $1 billion. Over 50 people have been convicted, with dozens more cases pending.

Court filings there hint that stolen funds were shipped to Somalia or used to snap up East African properties.

The Minnesota Autism Fraud

Under Their Noses--How Could They Miss This?

Making headlines over the last couple of days is one of the most blatant scandals in recent memory. If you missed the initial release of the report and have not been outraged yet, you will be.

An explosive investigation by Ryan Thorpe and Christopher Rufo of the Manhattan Institute exposed the unthinkable: Minnesota taxpayer dollars—hard-earned American money—are flowing straight into the coffers of Al-Shabaab, the al-Qaeda-linked terror group that’s slaughtered thousands in Somalia and beyond.

This isn’t some distant conspiracy; this was a transcontinental operation initiated right here in America, under the watch of Governor Tim Walz’s administration. Yes, the same Tim Walz who pranced across rally stages around the country last year trying to convince us that he was fit to be vice president.

The fraud web centers on programs like Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services (HSS), Feeding Our Future, and autism services for children—supposedly designed to help the needy. But instead, they became cash cows for scammers, many from the Somali community. HSS, projected at $2.6 million, ballooned to over $100 million in payouts before being shut down in August 2025 amid “credible allegations of fraud” against 77 providers.

Feeding Our Future exploded from $3.4 million in 2019 to nearly $200 million in 2021, with $250 million stolen through fake meal counts and invoices. The autism scheme? Another $14 million vanished, often via fraudulent diagnoses and kickbacks of $300–$1,500 per child per month.

In short, they used programs intended to help children and the less fortunate to funnel money to terrorists. Let that sink in. The depravity of it all is nauseating.

Illegals are more important to Democrats than American citizens

What Do Democrats and Republicans Want in Government Shutdown Dispute?

  • Democrats say they’re protecting health care subsidies
  • Republicans say would restore loopholes that let illegal immigrants access taxpayer-funded care
With Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress, Democrats lack the numbers to pass legislation outright, but they retain leverage in the Senate, where 60 votes are needed to advance a spending bill. They are using that leverage to push for continued ACA subsidies and to roll back OBBB/WFTCA provisions enacted in July that they say unfairly target immigrants and low-income households.

Republicans say they are open to considering a fix for the expiring ACA tax breaks, but they say the issue should be handled separately. They are backing a straightforward stopgap spending bill with no “riders” that was passed by the House and would fund the government through Nov. 21 at the existing spending level before the shutdown. It does not include any changes to ACA subsidies.

Previously, hospitals treating illegal immigrants in emergencies could claim an enhanced federal match rate through Medicaid—in some cases higher than what children or seniors generated. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act ends this “bonus” emergency Medicaid reimbursement beginning in October 2026, saving an estimated $28.2 billion. The Democrat version of the continuing resolution bill would restore it.

Also, pre-July rules allowed many asylum seekers and parolees to qualify for Medicaid or ACA coverage, but the One Big Beautiful Bill Act redefined “lawfully present” to exclude them. The Democrat-proposed repeal reopens eligibility to a group that Republicans say is routinely used to mask illegal entry.

Planned Parenthood faces an uncertain fiscal future

Federal appeals court overrides decision affecting Planned Parenthood funding

A recent federal appeals court ruling has impacted Planned Parenthood's funding, setting a precedent in the ongoing legal tug-of-war over Medicaid and abortion support, Breitbart report.

In a significant legal development, a federal appeals court blocked a lower court's mandate for taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood, suspending Medicaid contributions as judicial proceedings continue.

The controversy began with a legislative action embedded in this summer's "Big, Beautiful Bill," which specifically eliminated Planned Parenthood’s Medicaid funding for one year.

This move prompted Planned Parenthood to challenge the measure in court, claiming it was unconstitutional and unfairly targeted the organization.

Violent voicemail message: Jordan “a dead f***"

Ohio Man Charged With Threatening To Decapitate Jim Jordan Over Medicaid

“If you vote to take my f**king Medicaid away, I’m gonna cut your f**king head off,” his tirade continued unabated.

A federal criminal complaint has charged Jeffrey Dorsey, a 60-year-old resident of Dayton, Ohio, with making violent threats against Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), after Jordan backed a GOP budget reported by left-wing sources to purportedly include wide-reaching reductions to Medicaid, potentially resulting in 10 million fewer Americans enrolled by 2034.

However, President Trump has repeatedly made clear: there will be no cuts to Medicaid.

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act aims to protect and strengthen Medicaid for those who depend on it — including pregnant women, children, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income families.

The law targets waste, fraud, and abuse by removing ineligible recipients, such as illegal immigrants, and by enforcing work requirements. Supporters argue that the reforms ensure Medicaid remains sustainable and reserved for the truly vulnerable.

Trump demanding Big Pharma lower drug prices

President Trump takes action against Drug Companies

President Trump just sent a letter 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 the top drug companies in this nation lower drug prices or “we will deploy every tool in our arsenal to protect American families from continued abusive drug pricing practices.”

Karoline mentioned the drug companies have been asking for subsidies to lower prices but the admin refused. We pay 3 times what any other country pays and it’s time that changed.

He gave drugmakers 60 days to commit to four demands: extend “most-favored-nation” pricing to Medicaid, guarantee it for all new drugs, reinvest foreign profits into U.S. patients, and allow direct purchasing at those lower rates.

Trump said Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Medicare chief Dr. Mehmet Oz are ready to implement these measures and called for companies to engage with them “immediately in good faith.”

“If you refuse to step up, we’ll use every tool we have to stop this abuse,” Trump warned. “This is a vital national priority — and Americans need relief now.”

Cutting Medicaid Fraud

Dr. Oz: DOGE Found $14 Billion in Medicaid Fraud

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz said that his agency and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have identified at least $14 billion in fraud, waste, and abuse.

“There’s about $14 billion we’ve identified with DOGE, of folks who are duly enrolled wrongly in multiple states for Medicaid,” Oz told Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

As an example, Oz said, “You live in New Jersey, but you move to Pennsylvania, and which state gets your Medicaid? Turns out both states collect money from the federal government.”

He said that some people who are eligible to get a job or seek education are receiving Medicaid, echoing statements made by GOP lawmakers, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.). who in recent days said that able-bodied individuals and illegal aliens have received Medicaid benefits.

Lying Democrats love to say that Trump is cutting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. That is their constant fear tactic. Nope. They are finding and getting rid of the fraud so that these services can provide benefits to worthy individuals such as people with disabilities and others who need it or in the case of social security, who have earned it.

Cracking down on Government Waste and Fraud

Waste, Fraud and Dysfunction

Kim Rogalin: "Cracking down on waste isn't just about saving money; it's about restoring integrity to safety-net programs and protecting taxpayers. And if fixing this problem is not quintessential 'efficiency,' what is?"--Veronique de Rugy

"Before the election last year, nobody was talking about cutting anything...on the margin, it may still wash out pretty positive relative to the counterfactual where DOGE didn't exist."--Ryan Bourne.

"Given the incentives of federal workers and the tendency of government to only ever get bigger, it's possible to regard DOGE's work as a smashing success."—Christian Britchgi

The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) estimates that the federal regulatory burden is a hidden tax costing well over $1 trillion.

The $101.4 billion of improper payments made by Medicare and Medicaid in 2023 accounted for 40% of all improper payments across the entire government that year, according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

But 75% of spending goes to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, defense, veterans' benefits, and interest payments on the national debt. Those so-called "mandatory" spending programs constitute the majority of federal spending and most of the expected spending growth in the coming years. Achieving the substantial $2 trillion in savings our nation urgently needs, we must address the primary driver of federal debt: unchecked mandatory spending.

The executive branch has very limited authority with respect to spending. While there is tremendous waste and dysfunction within the federal budget, the largest problem is the government doing too many things it shouldn't and subsidizing nearly everything under the sun. Congress has primary responsibility for the size, scope, and spending of the federal government.

Large-scale federal government reform is not under the executive control. DOGE must also put together a package of budget cuts for Congress to work on. DOGE must also focus on government subsidies to private businesses and look at wasteful grant programs delivering billions of dollars to state governments.

"There is an entire industry of economists, policy wonks, and government auditors who have spent decades identifying wasteful spending and drafting savings blueprints for an ambitious Congress or president to adopt."--Jessica Ried

Funding Planned Parenthood on cutting block

Supreme Court set to hear arguments in Planned Parenthood funding dispute

The reversal of the abortion precedent of Roe v. Wade back in 2023 was a serious blow to abortion advocates across the country, and that contingent may be poised to suffer another setback, depending on the U.S. Supreme Court's response to arguments set to take place this week.

On Wednesday, the nation's highest court will consider whether states -- in this case, South Carolina -- can prevent abortion provider Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid funds, as the Daily Caller reports

As the Daily Caller reported at the time, Planned Parenthood filed suit against the Palmetto State in an effort to reverse its governor's executive order banning any abortion provider from receiving Medicaid dollars within its boundaries.

That order stipulated that “no grants, contracts, or state-administered federal funds can go to support abortion clinics.”

The Truth about Medicaid

Medicaid By: Mike Thompson

Good morning to you all. I have some interesting news that you're gonna want to read. It has to do with the claims of Medicare and Medicaid being taken away by Trump.

As many of you may remember, I spent nearly 30 years in the industry. This is from a person who currently works in this industry:

REGARDING MEDICAID...

I work in the Medicare field so I am an expert in what is happening with Medicaid!

What the Democrats are trying to do is mix the facts of a situation with flat out lies! They are claiming that President Trump is taking away people’s Medicaid!

There are 10’s of thousands losing their Medicaid if not 100’s of thousands, and many are losing their cost share coverage but maintaining a lower level of Medicaid! This has nothing to do with President Trump!

What happened is, that all these people losing Medicaid and getting lower levels of Medicaid only got their Medicaid and higher levels of Medicaid due to Covid exceptions where the government under the Biden administration lowered the bar for Medicaid! Then Biden officially, on April 10, 2023, called an end to the National emergency! That then made those people who all gained Medicaid and higher levels of Medicaid no longer eligible for those additional benefits!

Obviously they don’t just cut you off immediately, they allowed for an extended time! A period long enough so they could blame it on Trump if they lost the election!

This is the type of evil, conniving, scum of the Earth we are up against! These lies are hurting America and I can tell you it is working because I am talking to these people! The only way to combat this is to spread the truth!

So, I ask you to copy and paste this and share it on all social media sites! Let the people hear the truth!

TRUMP IS NOT TAKING AWAY YOUR MEDICAID! IT'S AN MSM AND DEMOCRAT PLOY TO PASS BLAME ONCE AGAIN.

Sneaky Expensive Gimmick for Government paid Healthcare for all

Biden and Newsom Push Forward Insane New Proposal

You want socialized medicine?

The Biden Administration and California Governor Gavin Newsom have just taken a bold move that flies in the face of the legacy of Robin Hood: tax the working and middle-class to fund the healthcare of the wealthy.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently authorized California’s request to dissolve the asset verification requirement of its Medicaid Program (known as Medi-Cal). This would expand Medi-Cal eligibility to wealthier Californians since it no longer requires a person to prove they are poor or of modest means.

The Social Security Act of 1940 states that Medicaid’s eligibility guidelines must include verification of assets, income, and employment status. But, due to the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, emergency measures were taken and Medicaid enrollment grew without proper eligibility verification.

At least 50% of California’s Medicaid Program (Medi-Cal) is funded by the Federal Medical Assistance Program. So, if California waives the asset verification requirement, then Americans who are not from California will be paying for the healthcare of California’s wealthy.

This gimmick opens it up for other states to follow. Let's just grow our national debt--it's what Democrats do best.

Biden loves to give $$$ away

Florida Medicaid

There was an Op Ed in the Palm Beach Post on Thursday entitled "Medicaid cuts leave thousands without coverage."

The Palm Beach Post will take every opportunity to put DeSantis or Trump in a bad light

It was written by two members, Christopher Irizarry CEO and David Dosdson on the Board of Directors of FoundCare, a non-profit reimbursed by the federal government. Their complaint was that 130,000 Medicaid recipients would be without coverage.

But States have begun to remove people from Medicaid, something they could not do for three years during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hundreds of thousands of people are losing coverage – not because of their income, but because of administrative problems, like missing a renewal notification in the mail.

And a poll this week from KFF found that 65% of Medicaid enrollees across the country didn't know states can now remove people from the program if they are not eligible or don't complete the renewal process.

In Florida, a four-person household must make less than $39,900 in annual income to qualify for Medicaid. That seems like a lot to me.

The state's early data indicates that 44% of those who have lost coverage in recent weeks were removed for procedural reasons, like a failure to return paperwork on time.

The article that was given a prominent spot on the Palm Beach Post Editorial page implies that big bad Florida and Ron DeSantis arbitrarily (just another way to take a crack at a Red State) are purposely not renewing Medicaid for 130,000 poor. It does not mention that their business is losing patients and therefore a big part of their income due to people failing to follow renewal procedure.

Nevada State Senator wants state to pay for Medicaid for Illegals

Nevada State Senator, Fabian Doate
He was appointed to the seat after incumbent Democrat Yvanna Cancela resigned to join the
Biden Administration

Nevada Democrats Seek to Spend Tens of Millions to Give Illegals Access to Medicaid

Lots of sick Democrats in our country

Illegal immigrants will reportedly now be eligible for Medicaid under a proposed measure that will be introduced by Democratic state legislators in Nevada.

The bill’s projected first cost is $78.5 million and could be much more.

State Senator Fabian Doate, whose parents immigrated from Mexico, serves as the Co-Majority Whip for the Senate Democrats, and the one who drafted the proposed piece of legislation.

However, he gave the impression that the actual cost could end up being higher because there is no exact data on the total number of illegal immigrants in Nevada and people are frequently scared to honestly admit their immigration status.

Immigrants who enter our country illegally are criminals. That's the bottom line. So what's up with these Democrats who continue to coddle criminals and spend millions of dollars of citizen's money?

Biden signs Executive Order for women to have access to abortion

BREAKING: Biden Signs ILLEGAL Executive Order FORCING YOU To PAY For it

"Our DEMENTED illegitimate president has openly slammed the Supreme Court along with his entire Socialist Party over the ruling on the Dobbs case that ultimately overturned the 1973 Roe v Wade decision.

Liberals are in a complete meltdown over this ruling on killing babies (abortion) because they think SCOTUS made the murdering of babies illegal.

If these scumbags had a functional brain cell they would understand the simple fact is that SCOTUS simply gave the states the right to make their own choices about abortion and that every liberal state like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and other failing democrat states will not be affected by the ruling."

Biden restoring Obama's failed socialist legacy

He went on to attack former President Donald Trump while signing a pair of orders to “undo the damage Trump has done,” he said.

“There’s nothing new that we’re doing here, other than restoring the Affordable Care Act and restoring the Medicaid to the way it was before Trump became president,” Biden stated.

This schism turned Obamacare into another government benefit program for lower- and moderate-income Americans. The typical enrollee has an income of only 165% of the federal poverty level, or $40,000 for a family of four. Government will pick up the tab with subsidies--socialized medicine.

HHS Holding California Accountable

Trump Admin Blocks Hundreds of Millions of Dollars from California as DOJ Takes Legal Action

California has always been in its own little world

In a statement on the HHS website, the OCR announced that it will “disallow $200 million in federal Medicaid funds going to California in the upcoming quarter due to the state illegally mandating that all health care plans subject to regulation by the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) cover abortion without exclusion or limitation.”

Negotiations to bring the state into compliance failed, according to HHS, leading to the decision to disallow up to $800 million in Medicaid costs per year until the state comes into compliance.
