Supreme Court set to hear arguments in Planned Parenthood funding dispute

The reversal of the abortion precedent of Roe v. Wade back in 2023 was a serious blow to abortion advocates across the country, and that contingent may be poised to suffer another setback, depending on the U.S. Supreme Court's response to arguments set to take place this week.

On Wednesday, the nation's highest court will consider whether states -- in this case, South Carolina -- can prevent abortion provider Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid funds, as the Daily Caller reports

As the Daily Caller reported at the time, Planned Parenthood filed suit against the Palmetto State in an effort to reverse its governor's executive order banning any abortion provider from receiving Medicaid dollars within its boundaries.

That order stipulated that “no grants, contracts, or state-administered federal funds can go to support abortion clinics.”

These extremists called for violence and vandalism against churches, and their latest attack burned a historic West Virginia Catholic Church to the ground Sunday. St. Colman Catholic Church in West Virginia was burned to the ground. The church was built in 1878 and was declared an official historical site in 1984. The church was already a smoldering ruin when firefighters from the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the scene Sunday. The destruction was total.

The 135-year-old little white church registered in the National Register of Historic Places was considered “The Little Catholic Church on Irish Mountain.”

Axios obtained a Department of Homeland Security memo that forecasts nationwide violent riots.

The memo warns that agencies are investigating some sinister threats of terrorism and more. The memo even mentioned burning government buildings to the ground and murdering major figures.

The memo goes on to justify many of the attacks we may soon see across the country. The Department of Homeland Security expects violent attacks from the left in defense of the infanticide they refer to as “abortion rights.” The memo, however, goes on to defend these actions. “The mere advocacy of political or social positions, political activism, use of strong rhetoric, or generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics does not constitute domestic violent extremism or illegal activity and is constitutionally protected.”

A pro-abortion group has threatened to burn down the Supreme Court building and murder the conservative justices and their clerks. Don’t doubt it. They already kill more than 600,000 babies a year. According to CNN, it seems as though five justices will vote to overturn Roe v. Wade. According to sources, Chief Justice John Roberts did not want to overturn Roe v. Wade in its entirety, which means he would have dissented from some of Alito’s draft judgment, presumably along with the court’s three liberal justices.

On Thursday, Chief Justice John Roberts termed the leak of the draft court judgment overturning Roe v. Wade “absolutely appalling.”

'If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, that WON'T ban abortion. It will return the power to the people. That's it'

Glenn said that people in this country who lament that "just five people are going to make the decision for the rest of us" in reference to the five Supreme Court Justices who are in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade, should actually welcome the idea of having duly elected state officials making decisions instead of Supreme Court justices who are appointed by the president.

"What the Supreme Court did yesterday was very clear. It did not ban abortion. It didn't. What it did was return the power to the people," Glenn stated.

Democrats know this but they, once again, are trying to fool their constituents. They must believe that people are really dumber than dirt.

A draft opinion circulating around the Supreme Court indicates the court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and Casey in a major change to abortion rights.

Politico first reported the news of the Opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito.

Politico reports:

The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Rowe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.
