The LWB City Commission is paving the way for a massive hotel takeover of our public beach and golf course. For seven months, they’ve let the developer’s lobbyist influence public opinion while city staff quietly rewrites the rules that protect our public access. They’re trying to dismantle decades of public protections and hand over our beach and parks to private developers.

To push these unsupported developments forward they must remove laws from our City Charter that limit private use of the public beach and restrict building heights. These laws, called Charter Amendments, were passed by voters specifically to protect our public assets from this type of private development. Under the current laws you would get a vote on this scale of development. They want to remove that right.

Mayor Resch and Commissioners May, Segrich, and Malega are calling for a March 2026 special election for these Charter changes that would take away your right to help protect our beloved public beach, parks, and shoreline.

Tell your Commissioners and the Mayor to leave the Charter alone! Let them know you want to keep the existing protections for our beach and public shorelines.

ACLJ files petition to protect kids from porn in school libraries

Petition seeks court order protecting kids from state-promoted pornography in schools

'At no time has the U.S. Supreme Court held that the First Amendment protects the inclusion of this type of sexually explicit material' in libraries.

The American Center for Law and Justice is stepping up its fight to protect kids in New York schools from pornography that leftist librarians are insisting on adding to their collections.

The organization has filed a petition in New York state court asking to overturn a decision from state education officials providing those books to children.

"As we explain in our petition, both federal and state laws emphasize the important role and compelling interest of public schools in protecting children from exposure to lewd and obscene content. Public schools and boards of education owe a duty of care to both parents and students to ensure that the curriculum and other materials provided to students are free of pornography and are age appropriate," the ACLJ reported.

"In fact, the United States Supreme Court has made abundantly clear that schools have a compelling interest in protecting children from inappropriate and lewd content," the ACLJ reported. "Once more, the court has unanimously held that a school board maintains the right and the power to remove such content from its schools."

Amistad Project Files Emergency Petition in Wisconsin Over 150,000 Fraudulent Ballots

The Amistad Project filed an emergency petition Tuesday in the Wisconsin Supreme Court challenging the state’s unofficial results in the 2020 presidential election, saying it has identified over 150,000 potentially fraudulent ballots.

The petition takes issue with 156,807 Wisconsin votes, of which it states that some are illegal votes counted and others are legal votes not yet counted.

The proposed ADU ordinance by Commissioner Omari Hardy allowing Accessory Dwelling Units (rental units) on every residential lot would effectively change the zoning of all single family residential (SFR) neighborhoods to multi family residential in Lake Worth Beach.

This would double or triple the number of homes, people, cars lining the streets, garbage and crime in every existing single family neighborhood. The enormous increase in home density would have a devastating effect on the community, environment, aesthetics and property values of our existing Lake Worth Beach single family homes.

Unsure if it's just all Democrats these days but this particular one ran unopposed in the Detroit area of Michigan and has become a Congresswoman and the first anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian who is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. She is a first generation American who supports domestic reforms including Medicare For All and a $15 minimum wage. Basically, she stands for everything conservatives oppose--socialism.
