Last night at Coral Sky - Noise

Well, it's definitely a bunch of "noise" from someone of my era. Green Day and Blink 182 appeared at Coral Sky last night.  Someone who was there reported that it got a little rowdy and they left the show.

The band has generated controversy over whether the band's musical style and major-label status constitutes "true punk." {Wikipedia]  There is no controversy as far as I am concerned that the touring members of this group ARE punks.

As the lead singer, whoever he was, was performing on stage, he lit a joint that supposedly someone had thrown on the stage. He just so happened to have a match. Around 21:45 into the video you will see him say, "If the president isn't going to say something (about Nazis) then I'm going to say something." And the entire crowd was going bananas.

These are the people influencing our youth.
 

Trump Rally today West Palm Beach

Katie and I left for the South Florida Fairgrounds Expo Center at 7:30 this morning and arrived around 8am. The doors were supposed to open at 9am but did not open until 9:20. There were no seats..standing room only.  Donald Trump arrived to speak around 1:10pm and the crowd went wild. See the entire rally below on YouTube.

Several people spoke to warm up the crown: Our 18th Lt. Governor of Florida, Jennifer Carroll, the first black American and the first woman elected to the position, she assumed the office on January 4, 2011.

And Rudy Giuliani spoke right before Donald Trump. Rudy Giuliani was the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York during the 1980s. Giuliani prosecuted pivotal cases against the American Mafia, and against corrupt corporate financiers and was the former mayor of New York.

Today at the NRA Gun Show

Yesterday and today, the South Florida Fairgrounds had its monthly gun show. I expected a record crowd today because of the anniversary date of 9/11. The place was mobbed.

Randy, Katie and I had an opportunity to meet with local and out-of-state firearm dealers to inspect and buy a variety of weapons like AR-15s, handguns, rifles, shotguns, holsters ammo and accessories. Vendors also sold a plethora of ammunition, tactical gear, scopes and other firearm accessories for every type of buyer. I never saw so many knives in my life, Mace, and other protections. What was really frightening was to learn that anyone can enter my home with ease even if I have it dead-bolted. No one is safe.

We learned that there are a few more firearm stores that have opened, one in Pompano. Guns and Range Training Center on Clare avenue in West Palm Beach has a concealed carry license course for all you enthusiasts.

I was surprised to see a table set up promoting Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate for president. One of the guys at his table explained that Gary was for guns and against war. I asked him what Gary Johnson would do about ISIS attacking us or an ally. The only other political table inside was the Tea-Party's. The Trump truck was there and Katie picked up some Trump signs. As we were leaving, Paul Spain's RV was out front handing out literature. Paul was chatting with the folks. He is running against Lois Frankel.
