Border Vets laying Razor Wire in California

Border Vets

Border vets’ take it upon themselves to seal off gaps in the wall

BOULEVARD, Calif. (Border Report) — Members of a group calling themselves the “Border Vets” felt it was their duty to spend part of their afternoon in the mountains east of San Diego pounding metal stakes into rocks and stringing razor wire.

They were trying to seal a gap in the border barrier where migrants have been entering the U.S. in recent months.

“It’s really serious for everybody here that we protect our nation. The holes that we can find (in the border wall), we’re going to go ahead and get the razor wire and do our best to defend our country,” said Kate Monroe, a retired Marine.

“Whoever it is you’re waiting to do this for you, they’re not coming. It’s going to be people like us, people like America’s veterans.”

Restricting Administration Zealots from Obliging Raiders (RAZOR) Act

Proposed a law called the RAZOR Act to defend GOP-led Texas’ border barriers from the feds

Declaring that “President Biden is aiding and abetting illegal aliens” invading the nation, House Republicans have seen themselves forced to act to counter the invasion, as they have now proposed a law called the RAZOR Act to defend GOP-led Texas’ border barriers from the feds.

On Thursday, US Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) introduced a bill to prevent the Biden administration from dismantling some security measures, including razor wire, that the Texas authorities have implemented along the Southern Border.

The proposed legislation, named the Restricting Administration Zealots from Obliging Raiders (RAZOR) Act, explicitly prohibits the removal or modification of any state-built barriers that are intended to curb illegal immigration.

Texas using Razor Wire as a deterrent

Gov. Abbott Slams Biden by Citing US Constitution

In a severe blow to Joe Biden over the illegal alien invasion he has allowed since taking office, the GOP Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has exposed the president’s violation of the US Constitution and defended his state’s right to defend the nation’s border.

In a statement directed at Biden, the governor reaffirmed the state’s commitment to its “constitutional right to self-defense,” following a significant ruling by the Supreme Court that allowed the US government to remove razor wire installed on the border by Texas authorities.

Abbott strongly reiterated the state’s stance, drawing on the principles laid out by the Founding Fathers of the United States.

“The federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States. The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now. President Biden has ignored Texas’s demand that he perform his constitutional duties,” the Texas governor said.

Department of Homeland Security argued that federal law gives Border Patrol agents authority to access private land within 25 miles of the border and that state laws cannot be used to stop those agents from carrying out their work.

This must be the reason why Justice Roberts and Amy Comey Barrett voted the way they did.

Temporary Restraining Order issued for Government Destroying Texas' razor wire at border

Judge temporarily bars federal government from cutting razor wire along the Texas border

Judge Alia Moses granted the state’s request for a temporary restraining order

Judge Alia Moses granted the state’s request for a temporary restraining order as part of a lawsuit Texas filed last week, but left an exception if cutting the wire would prevent "serious bodily injury or death."

The state of Texas is suing the Biden administration over what they call CBP’s practice of "cutting, destroying, or otherwise damaging Texas’s concertina wire that had been strategically positioned for the purpose of securing the border and stemming the flow of illegal migration."
