Ret General Michael Flynn got screwed

Michael Flynn: newly declassified FBI notes prove he never should have been charged

Retired General Michael Flynn says fully unredacted FBI interview notes, released this week by the White House, show the bureau's own agents knew he did not lie, and that he would never have accepted his 2018 guilty plea had he seen the evidence at the time.

The Trump administration's Government Transparency Task Force on Wednesday declassified the complete, unredacted handwritten and typed notes from Flynn's January 24, 2017 FBI interview, documents that had been partially blacked out for years, even from Flynn's own defense team. Flynn, appearing on the Just the News, No Noise television show that evening, said the newly visible material changes the entire picture of his prosecution under Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The core of Flynn's argument is simple: the agents' own contemporaneous notes show he gave hedged, qualified answers about his December 2016 phone call with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, answers the FBI then repackaged into flat denials in the official typed summary filed weeks later. That repackaging, Flynn contends, manufactured the false-statement charge that upended his life.

Handwritten notes versus the official FBI summary--Two FBI agents, Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka, sat across from Flynn in that January 2017 interview. Both took handwritten notes. The FBI later produced a typed summary called an FD-302, the bureau's standard interview report. The FD-302 was not entered into the FBI's system until more than 20 days after the sit-down.

Strzok's text messages and the 20-day gap--

The delay between the interview and the filing of the FD-302 has long raised questions. Text messages between Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page, publicly exposed in 2020, shed light on why. Strzok told Page he was "trying not to completely revise" the summary because of its poor original state. Page, who did not attend the Flynn interview, also provided edits, the messages show.

An FBI lawyer who was not in the room editing the official record of a witness interview, weeks after the fact, is not standard procedure. It is the kind of irregularity that, in any other context, would prompt serious questions about the reliability of the document.

In Flynn's case, that document became the evidentiary foundation for a federal felony charge.

Flynn said the declassified documents contain information he had never seen before. "There is a lot of new information that I was not aware of," he said. What specific sections were previously hidden behind redactions, and why the FBI kept them blacked out for years, even from the defendant, remain open questions.

The government eventually paid Flynn $1.2 million and walked away from the conviction.

$2 million in settlements went to Strzok and Page

Brian Netter Approved $2M Payout to Russia Hoaxers

The Department of Justice (DOJ) official who approved a $2 million in settlements for disgraced Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page — whose anti-Trump texts became central to allegations of political bias in the bureau’s 2016 Trump-Russia probe — is a left-wing activist, according to a Friday report.

Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by the Center to Advance Security in America in 2024, it was revealed the DOJ’s former Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Federal Programs Branch, Brian Netter, was responsible for approving the settlement agreements, according to The Federalist.

Netter, who served under Attorney General (AG) Merrick Garland, has since been working as the Legal Director for Democracy Forward.

The annex showed the FBI ignored information suggesting Hillary Clinton’s campaign planned to falsely link Trump to Russian organized crime. Strzok and Page settled with $1.2 million and $800,000, respectively, according to Politico.

Peter Strzok says privacy rights violated--gets $1.2 million from the DOJ

US Government Agrees to Pay Peter Strzok $1.2 Million in Lawsuit Settlement

The Justice Department agreed to pay former FBI special agent Peter Strzok a $1.2 settlement over the release of his anti-Trump text messages.

Peter Strzok sued the DOJ for ‘unlawfully disclosing’ his text messages to his paramour Lisa Page.

Strzok and Lisa Page discussed an “insurance policy” to keep Trump out of office.

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office…that there’s no way [Trump] gets elected…but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok text messaged to Page in an Aug. 15, 2016 exchange, referring to Andrew McCabe.

Peter Strzok, the corrupt FBI Agent

Outrageous! Former FBI Agent Refers to Waco Massacre in Threat to Trump Supporters!

On Friday fired FBI agent Peter Strzok posted a veiled death threat against President Trump just hours before his historic rally Saturday in Waco, Texas.

Strzok, who is famous for running an illicit coup on the US president and banging a colleague in the broom closet (his wife, Melissa Hodgman, discovered his affair with FBI lawyer Lisa Page on his phone in 2017), posted a photo of the government-led massacre at the religious compound in Waco, Texas.

Everyone knows it was the feds who were ultimately blamed for this horrible mass killing.

And, now Peter Strzok is posting this warning to Trump and his supporters.

Trump in Waco

Fired FBI Goon Peter Strzok Issues Veiled Death Threat to Donald Trump as Leading GOP Candidate Heads to Waco, Texas for Historic Rally

It’s been 30 years since the ATF-FBI siege on the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco, Texas in 1993. The government siege led to a massacre of 76 people including 25 children.

The deadly assault on David Koresh’s Branch Davidian compound took place from February 28 through April 19, 1993, over suspected weapons violations. The ATF had attempted to raid the compound and a gun battle ensued, leaving four government agents and six Branch Davidians dead. For the next 50 days, the government would use psychological warfare, such as playing the sound of animals being slaughtered, until ultimately the compound was burned to the ground with nearly everyone still inside.

On Friday fired FBI agent Peter Strzok posted a veiled death threat against President Trump just hours before his historic rally Saturday in Waco, Texas.

Strzok’s veiled threat did not scare away the Trump supporters. Thousands were lined up this morning at the crack of dawn.

Corrupt FBI Lawyer and Abuse of Power

Crooked Former FBI Lawyer Who Changed Email In Russia Investigation Is Begging For Mercy

Just another dishonest government employee. This guy is responsible for ruining Carter Page's life.

Democrat operatives knew exactly what they were doing in order to spy on President trump. Last month, Page sued the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI and former FBI Director James Comey for $75 million over "unlawful surveillance." The suit additionally sues former FBI Assistant Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI lawyers Kevin Clinesmith and Lisa Page, and FBI agent Peter Strzok.

David Horowitz found fault with specific aspects of the FBI's conduct, including omissions of facts and false statements to the FISA court when applying for a warrant to conduct surveillance on Page.

Peter Strzok: I can say what in the hell I want

Strzok claims anti-Trump texts protected by First Amendment, administration violated his rights

Former FBI agent and once the head of the FBI's counter intelligence Peter Strzok,  is suing the government in a bid for reinstatement of his job. "He says that his politically charged anti-Trump messages were protected by the First Amendment -- even though he sent them on bureau-issued phones while playing leading roles in the probes into both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump."

Anti-Trumpers think they can say whatever they please but Strozk used a government instrument and server to do it and on government paid time. He still insists that he displayed exemplary performance over his FBI career. But who ever heard of an employee stating his hateful and treasonous opinions against his boss and still retain his job? Strzok helped launch the bogus counterintelligence investigation into links between the Trump campaign and the Russians.

Peter Strzok Fired! It's about time

FBI fires Peter Strzok, months after anti-Trump texts revealed

It took awhile but it's about time! Hurrah!

Everyone was wondering why the FBI was allowing him to stick around. "According to Strzok's lawyer, Aitan Goelman, an internal disciplinary review had recommended Strzok's demotion and a 60-day suspension. But Goelman said Monday that the deputy director of the FBI (David L. Bowdich ) overruled that determination and decided to fire him."

New Documents Reveal Strzok Lied to Congress

During his testimony to the House, Peter Strzok testified that he was not involved in the writing of the FISA application and did not provide any information for it. But now we know differently. Strzok used a September 2016 letter from Carter Page to James Comey as a pretext to open an investigation into him. Paul Sperry of the New York Post tweeted on this subject.
