U.S. Migrant situation

What the data says about immigrants in the U.S.

The United States has long had more immigrants than any other country. In fact, the U.S. is home to one-fifth of the world’s international migrants. These immigrants come from just about every country in the world.

Pew Research Center regularly publishes research on U.S. immigrants. Based on this research, here are answers to some key questions about the U.S. immigrant population.

The U.S. foreign-born population reached a record 47.8 million in 2023, an increase of 1.6 million from the previous year. This is the largest annual increase in more than 20 years, since 2000.

Most immigrants (77%) are in the country legally. As of 2022:

49% were naturalized U.S. citizens.
24% were lawful permanent residents.
4% were legal temporary residents.
23% were unauthorized immigrants.

And it's no wonder why migrants are coing here...open borders under Biden/Harris which is an indictable act.

What PEW has to say...

The Socialists are winning...

Obama Holds Lead; Romney Trails on Most Issues
Despite the stagnant economy and broad dissatisfaction with national conditions, Barack Obama holds a significant lead over Mitt Romney. Currently, Obama is favored by a 50% to 43% margin among registered voters. Unfavorable ratings of the Supreme Court, meanwhile, have increased -- especially among Republicans -- following last month's health care ruling. Read more

Pervasive Gloom About the World Economy
The economic mood is exceedingly glum all around the world. A median of just 27% of publics around the world think their national economy is doing well, according to a survey in 21 countries. Those in emerging markets are more upbeat than those in the European Union and the U.S. In addition, the global economic crisis has eroded support for capitalism. Read more

The Latest Pew Survey on Republicans and Democrats

Comment Up
"Another new survey shows that Republican supporters know more about politics and political history than Democrats.

Democrats only know about revisionist history (awh gee, I thought Wes Blackman coined that expression) and have been using it to hide the truth from their brain-dead flock. On eight of 13 questions about politics, Republicans outscored Democrats by an average of 18 percentage points, according to a new Pew survey “Partisan Differences in Knowledge.”

The Pew survey adds to a wave of surveys and studies showing that GOP-sympathizers are better informed, more intellectually consistent, more open-minded, more empathetic and more receptive to criticism than their fellow Americans who support the Democratic Party. (They should do a survey on Lake Worth politics...the results would probably blow your mind)

Again, this shows that liberals are not the open-minded caring folks they pretend to be.

Republicans fare substantially better than Democrats on several questions in the survey, as is typically the case in surveys about political knowledge, said the study."

Islam--Three Things you Need to Know

White Roses, a group headquartered in Sweden, created a video to inform non-Muslims about Islam. The name of this video is: Three Things About Islam.

The name White Roses is based on a student resistance group "Die weiße Rose" in Nazi Germany. The group became known for an anonymous leaflet campaign, from June 1942 until February 1943, which called for active opposition to Adolf Hitler's regime.

We continue to listen to Muslims defending the building of a Mosque near the 911 Site saying that they are the "peaceful" Muslims. The leader of the proposed site, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, says that the opposition to the project are just "very small, loud and vociferous voices." According to a recent CNN Poll, 70% of Americans do not want it built there.

Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, says it is all "politics." Only 54% of Democrats oppose it whereas 82% of Republicans disapprove. We continue to listen to President Obama also saying that Muslims have the right. These sort of statements just show how out of touch the Democratic Party has become.

In a recent poll by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, 34% of respondents said they believe Obama is a Christian, down from 48% in March 2009. Eighteen percent said he is a Muslim, up from 11% in March 2009. No matter what religion he is, Obama better pray, starting now and up until the election in 2012.
