Trump Admin Declares June Is No Longer 'Pride Month', Retail Stores Backtrack on LGBT Displays

The White House has officially declared that June will no longer be LGBT-Pride Month. This comes as GOP leaders in Congress head in the same direction and more companies back away from pushing rainbow flags and other LGBT-themed items in retail stores.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters Tuesday the White House has "no plans" to issue a proclamation recognizing June as Pride Month.

"There are no plans for a proclamation for the month of June," Leavitt said, "but I can tell you this president is very proud to be a president for all Americans, regardless of race, religion, or creed."

Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Education published a new report Monday declaring that June will now be recognized as "Title IX" Month, in honor of the 53rd anniversary of Title IX of the Educational Amendments (1972) being signed into law.

"June will now be dedicated to commemorating women and celebrating their struggle for, and achievement of, equal educational opportunity.

Throughout the month, the Department will highlight actions taken to reverse the Biden Administration's legacy of undermining Title IX and announce additional actions to protect women in line with the true purpose of Title IX," the declaration reads.

It's still recognized in Lake Worth Beach where there is a large LGBTQ community. Pride Month, sometimes specified as LGBTQ Pride Month, is a month-long observance dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ pride, commemorating the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer culture and community.

Vance slams the woke Left as weird

J.D. Vance used his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to take aim at the Left’s war on men.

Barack Obama changed Title IX rules to allow woke activists to set up kangaroo courts on college campuses that categorized all sex as rape and allowed so-called “victim” rights’ groups to target male students for expulsion in Kafka-like hearings where they had no due process rights and the deck was stacked against them.

The Left also attacked any men who engaged in physical activities or played sports as exhibiting “toxic masculinity.”

Vance took issue with how the dominant left-wing culture indoctrinated young men into being ashamed of who they are and how they should feel guilty about the so-called “patriarchy’s” historical supposed oppression of women.

Unlike Joe Biden and the woke Left, Vance said that he and President Trump would honor actual science that says there are two genders, where men and women are born biologically different.

“We actually think God made male and female for a purpose. And we want you guys to thrive as young men and as young women. And we’re going to help with our public policy to make it possible to do that,” Vance concluded.

Federal Title IX Transgender Rule Blocked in 6 More States

‘A rule that compels speech and engages in such viewpoint discrimination is impermissible,’ the judge wrote in the ruling.

A federal judge on June 17 issued an order temporarily blocking the Biden administration’s new Title IX transgender rule in an additional six states. The rule has sparked controversy for changing the definition of “sex” to include “gender identity” and giving female-identifying male students access to girls’ locker rooms and bathrooms.

“There are two sexes: male and female,” begins the memorandum and opinion written by U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves, filed on June 17 at the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Kentucky, Covington Division.

The judge’s order grants a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of the new rule in six states: Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The rule has also been blocked in at least five other states.

At least 15 states have sued the Biden administration for changes to the 1972 civil rights law meant to protect females from discrimination.

Republican-led states are suing the Biden administration and advising schools to ignore the new federal Title IX changes that expand sex discrimination protection to students who identify as the opposite sex, or transgender.

The rule change, published on April 19, formalizes the Department of Education’s redefinition of the meaning of sex to include gender identity.

The changes, which go into effect Aug. 1, give males identifying as female the right to use female restrooms, locker rooms, and join female-only organizations. Under the new rule, “harassment” can include the use of biologically accurate pronouns.

The American Civil Liberties Union’s deputy legal director Louise Melling applauded the definition change to include young people who identify as transgender. Note, you don't have to have actually transgendered through surgery, just identify as a different sex. This is such BS.

About 1.03% of the nation's adult population identifies as transgender.
