Mazie Hirono Asks Pam Bondi If She Ever Made ‘Unwanted’ Sexual Advances On Someone
Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii asked Attorney General-designate Pam Bondi if she had ever engaged in sexual harassment Wednesday.President-elect Donald Trump nominated Bondi to be Attorney General after former Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida withdrew his name from consideration after Trump initially nominated him. Hirono said during Bondi’s hearing Wednesday she asks two questions of every nominee who appears before committees she sits on. Hirono is a piece of work.
“First, since you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors or committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature?” Hirono asked Bondi, who responded, “No, senator.”
