Fox News and legacy media refuse to publish Ron Johnson's op-ed on COVID vaccine safety findings

Sen. Ron Johnson says every major media outlet in the country, including Fox News, either declined or ignored his request to publish an op-ed laying out what a Senate investigation found about federal officials allegedly concealing COVID-19 vaccine safety signals. So the Wisconsin Republican posted it himself.

Johnson self-published the piece on his X account and his Senate website on June 18, titling it "The story the media, and the government, don't want you to hear." The op-ed draws on a Majority Staff Interim Report from the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which Johnson chairs, dated April 29, 2026.

That report, as the Daily Caller News Foundation reported, details how Biden-era health officials allegedly "purposely turned a blind eye toward COVID-19 vaccine safety signals."

The senator named names, not just the left-leaning outlets you'd expect, but Fox Digital and The Wall Street Journal alongside The New York Times, The Washington Post, and USA TODAY. All five, Johnson stated, "declined or ignored requests to publish this op-ed."

The subcommittee's interim report centers on the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, the FDA division responsible for approving vaccines and monitoring their safety after they reach the public. 

Johnson alleges the CBER team received data "for over three months" pointing to dangers associated with COVID-19 vaccines, and that officials shut the analysis down.

His account is specific. Johnson claims Peter Marks, the former CBER director, was briefed that an algorithm used to analyze Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System data would "mask" or cover up adverse events.

When a data analyst flagged the problem, Johnson alleges, officials "ordered the data analyst to 'cease and desist' and then lied to the American public that 'they weren't seeing safety signals.'"

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sat through what can only be described as a political lynching disguised as a Senate hearing.

Senator Ron Wyden from Oregon led the charge, accusing Kennedy of "endangering children" and pushing "conspiracy-driven policies" during the Finance Committee hearing.

The Democrat attack dog went full throttle, claiming Kennedy had "no regrets" about a "fundamentally cruel" agenda.

Kennedy fired right back, pointing out that Wyden has been in Washington, D.C. for decades while chronic disease rates have climbed to a staggering 76 percent.

"When I see all these senators trying to lecture and ‘gotcha’ Bobby Kennedy today all I can think is: You all support off-label, untested, and irreversible hormonal ‘therapies’ for children, mutilating our kids and enriching big pharma," Vance wrote on X.

Then came his knockout punch.

The Florida Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, is demanding answers from Dr. Robert M. Califf, the Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), regarding the detection of host cell DNA fragments in mRNA COVID-19 vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna.

The Florida Surgeon General sent a letter to FDA Commissioner Califf and CDC Director Mandy Cohen on December 6, pressing for greater transparency about the potential for DNA integration into the human genome—a concern that could have far-reaching implications.

The Florida Public Health Integrity Committee discussed these issues on November 14, 2023, and Ladapo urged the FDA to consider their findings. In addition, he reminded Califf of a previous communication dated May 10, 2023, which had yet to receive a response.

On May 10, Ladapo sent a letter to Califf and former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky regarding the risks of the experimental COVID-19 vaccines.

Official data: Fully vaccinated people account for 9 of 10 COVID deaths

The fully vaccinated account for 9 of every 10 deaths from COVID-19 in England and 4 of 5 deaths among the triple-vaccinated, according to the latest data published by the U.K. Health Security Agency.

The independent British news site The Exposé reported the government report, published Feb. 22, includes a table on page 41 confirming the vast majority of deaths were among the vaccinated.

About 73.5% of the population of England has been fully vaccinated, and 56.9% have received a booster shot, as of Feb. 28.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is looking into authorizing a second coronavirus booster shot.

Remember back when the powers that be claimed that two doses of a coronavirus vaccine would suffice? How about when they said that only one booster shot would be needed?

Well, they lied. Now, if the FDA approves a second booster shot, then the tally will be up to four coronavirus vaccine doses: the initial two followed by two boosters.

It is looking more and more as though those who have argued that the new norm will be routine coronavirus booster vaccines are going to be proven to be right.

A new piece of legislation in Washington state would allow for government forced internment of the unvaccinated. A new COVID protocol, WAC 246-100-040 has been proposed as a revision to state guidelines.

It would change the “procedures for isolation and quarantine.” The order, if passed, would give local health officials the right to use an emergency decree to detain people. It would be at the local health official’s sole discretion.

• HB 1-B is one of these bills. Among other actions, HB 1-B prohibits government entities from imposing vaccine mandates on employees, vaccine mandates, and it prevents vaccine mandates for students. The bill also prevents public schools from forcing students to wear face masks, and it requires employers to give their employees certain COVID-19 vaccine exemptions. This bill could have been far stronger — not only could the list of exemptions have been larger, but the bill’s provisions expire on June 1, 2023 — but it still helps push back against the current COVID tyranny in Florida.

• HB 3-B enacts additional protections to Floridians’ medical and religious information, ensuring personal privacy when the government investigates an employer’s refusal to provide exemptions to forced vaccinations.

• HB 5-B allows Florida to begin the process of withdrawing the state from the federal government’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Such an action is not perfect — Florida would create its own “state plan” pursuant to federal law, and the federal government would need to approve this plan — but it is a significant step toward asserting state, not federal, control over workplace matters.

• HB 7-B enacts a significant protection against forced vaccinations. Under Florida law, the chief public health officer — currently the surgeon general — had full power to require individuals to be vaccinated against their will during a “public health emergency.” Although Governor DeSantis and Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo both strongly oppose forced vaccines, nothing was preventing a future governor or surgeon general from mandating vaccinations. HB 7-B fixes this dangerous loophole. We had previously supported legislation in the 2022 regular session to accomplish this, but the just-enacted bill makes this unnecessary.

Moderna, the vax I got from Palm Beach County, said that its Covid vaccine was more than 90% effective at protecting against Covid and more than 95% effective against severe disease up to six months after the second dose. So, all those who say they got the vaccine but still got Covid, no Pharmaceutical company has ever said everyone was 100% safe from getting the virus after vaccination. All we hear on social media are the horror stories.
