Lake Worth Beach real estate: Peters sisters say they rejected $43 million offer for 47 properties
The Peters family first began buying property in Lake Worth Beach in 2002 when Douglas Peters, the sisters' father, bought a small strip of stores on Dixie Highway that the family still owns. Later, he retired and turned it over to his three daughters. They opened a real estate company on Lake Avenue in one of the buildings they own.They had a few offers in later last year to sell their holdings in Lake Worth. At the time they said they would "mull" it over.
Now they have announced they will hold on to their properties in Lake Worth Beach, 50 at the moment with another one soon to close making it 51. They are the largest commercial property owner in our city.
