The Commission further stated, " I do NOT want anyone from the public, especially a taxpayer, questioning me on this entitlement expense or giving me a hard F-ing time about it. It's in the freaking budget and we don't have to explain squat to you." And Suzanne, how dare you promote the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival at a sister city, etc., etc., etc.
If the traveler is a City Commissioner or appointed board member, now the City Manager will approve travel, not the Commission. Extra-ordinary travel outside the US will require City Commission approval.
