All this construction has frazzled everyone's nerves. The cause was not mentioned for this shooting but we are all frustrated about the extensive amount of road work going on. Everywhere we turn, construction!

Now the County is wasting millions of taxpayer dollars and building a sidewalk on the east side of Lake Osborne Drive when we have a sidewalk directly across the street at John Prince Park. What we need out here is speed bumps.

I have put in calls regarding this ridiculous sidewalk project out here to the County: the director of right-of-ways, the project engineer who both directed me elsewhere. I finally was told to contact the head of Traffic, Bobby Nassar at 561-684-4022 who has not returned my call.

Illegals criminally assaulted a woman -- Lake Osborne Drive

Deputies: 3 Illegals arrested after woman sexually battered

Three undocumented immigrants from Guatemala are accused of forcing a woman into a vehicle and sexually battering her at two locations just west of Lake Worth Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

This abduction occurred at 1 a.m. Monday in a residential area in the 5000 block of Lake Osborne Drive, which is near John Prince Park, just west of Interstate 95.

"Thankfully, the victim was able to escape and flag down a passerby to help her," PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera said in a news release. Barbera said she didn't have the two locations of the assault.

Andres Felipe Morales, 29; Darinel Ordonez Jjimenez, 30, and Marcos Felipe Ramirez, 31, were arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail around 7 p.m. Monday. During their first appearance Tuesday, bond was set at $200,000 for each one with their next court date set for 10:30 a.m. April 10. [WFLX]

Weather advisory crossed my desk that said Northeast winds will be 25 to 35mph through Saturday. I predict a postponement to December 22.

Well look who Elfing showed up to "try" and "rain on" the best boat parade eva! The Christmas Pirate Bros! 😡 🏴‍☠️Grinch along with his pal ☠Scrooge are messing with us this year!

As your El Capitàn, you can trust me... I will keep my one eye on the conditions as the week progresses. I WILL NOT put people into hazardous conditions! "IF" we "HAVE To"....we will "POSTPONE" the parade until next weekend. FRI DEC 22nd @7pm. But it will come down to the wire the afternoon of friday. Hopefully we will get a break in the weather and pull it off, but as of now, I'm seeing 50% / 30% chance of rain from NOAA, which isn't bad, and we've lucked out 8yrs in a row, well all except for that one yr...lol and the show still went on!! Wind between 20/30mph with heavy gusts concerns me more.

Keeping my Christmas fingers crossed for the best, but also keeping the safety for the boaters and spectators a Top Priority!

Lake Osborne Holiday Boat Parade Friday December 16

This is the eighth year for the annual Boat Parade on Lake Osborne and organizers say there are 50-55 boats in the event. The Parade is two hours long and starts in Lantana. The best place to park is right here on Lake Osborne Drive. Bring your lawn chair and have a great time.

Not only do we constantly put up with speeders, but quite often we have truckers crashing into the bridge. I asked PBSO, "How are you going to get that truck out of here?" He said, "Very Carefully."
