President Lee Jae Myung Downplays Political Motive, Calls It Lawful Oversight

Before stepping into the meeting with Lee, Trump had already previewed his unease. In a Truth Social post earlier that morning, he wrote: “WHAT IS GOING ON IN SOUTH KOREA? Seems like a Purge or Revolution. We can’t have that and do business there. I am seeing the new President today at the White House. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!”

In the Oval Office meeting, President Lee sought to calm the waters. Through an interpreter, he told Trump that the government was not targeting religion but was instead conducting a “fact-finding investigation” tied to decisions made under the previous administration.

Lee described the law enforcement actions as part of a broader effort to restore public trust and ensure accountability — framing them as legally justified rather than ideologically driven. He also praised Trump for his efforts to promote peace worldwide, including on the fractured Korean peninsula.

Within a single year the world has experienced a 61% increase in terrorist attacks, according to the 2014 edition of The Global Terrorism Index from the Institute for Economics & Peace. Now we are witnessing these evil cowards plowing into innocent people as they walk on sidewalks.

Syria is the least peaceful country as well as the most unstable and now Russia is threatening the United States in its attack on  ISIS  The U.S. Central command said:  “The Coalition’s mission is to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. The Coalition does not seek to fight Syrian regime, Russian, or pro-regime forces partnered with them, but will not hesitate to defend Coalition or partner forces from any threat."

You all have heard of a Peace Pipe but this is a Peace Cup offered to two individuals who continually attack pastor Mike Olive and his church as well as those who attend. Hope that they both take him up on the coffee clutch at the Common Grounds Coffee Bar. Everyone needs a little spiritual help in their lives not to mention a good cup of java.

The Mayor of Riviera Beach, Thomas Masters, brought up The Peace Keepers at yesterday's Sister Cities meeting and invited all of us to visit its web site.  He mentioned Trayvon Martin and at that very moment he spoke the name, the lights went out in the room. No joke! I was wondering if it was an omen.

The Peace Keepers, founded by a black Muslim, have a global initiative that speaks to peace, love and unity in a community that is plagued by crime and gun violence.  They want to establish new rules of conduct and behavior in the community by which young people can be governed; they want all communities to be safe; and believe that by behavior change, our neighborhoods can be safe.
