Trump Vows US Will Retrieve Uranium From Iran

President Donald Trump vowed on Thursday that the United States will eventually recover Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium despite comments from ‌Iran that it ​will not hand over the material.

"We will get it. ⁠We don't need it, we ​don't want it. We'll probably destroy it ⁠after we get it, but we're not going to let them have it," Trump ‌told reporters at the ​White House. Iran is ‌believed to possess about 900 pounds ‌of highly enriched uranium, which Trump says was buried by U.S. and ⁠Israeli airstrikes nearly a ‌year ago.

Retrieving ⁠the uranium is part of Trump's ⁠central ⁠objective of his war on Iran that Tehran ‌will not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon.

Iran's Supreme Leader has issued ‌a ​directive that ‌the country's near-weapons-grade uranium should not be sent abroad, two senior Iranian ​sources told Reuters.

The land in question is almost a million acres, including land far away from the Grand Canyon, the area the new monument designation was supposed to protect. There’s also a question about how much land is being taken from private citizens and how it may affect their rights.

On top of that, he didn’t seem to understand what the number and nature of the wonders of the world were, and he showed off some full-blown hypocrisy with a huge gas-guzzling motorcade while sermonizing about climate change.

A Russian government sought federal government approval to purchase a Canadian company called Uranium One which controlled 20 percent of American uranium assets. This required the approval of several federal government agencies, because the deal involved a material (uranium) of national strategic importance.

Hillary Clinton’s State Department was one of those agencies which signed off on the deal. And she has the nerve to attempt to try and connect Trump to Putin when she is the ONLY one connected to him in any way.
