Trump left Venezuela in place after Maduro capture
Delcy Rodriguez, a socialist, met with CIA Director, John Ratcliff on Thursday
Trump Says He Left Maduro Regime in Place to Avoid Repeat of Iraq
The U.S. president warned that a power vacuum could create more problems, pointing to historical examples as a cautionary tale.(The Epoch Times)—President Donald Trump told reporters while departing the White House on Jan. 16 that he is working with interim Venezuelan leader Delcy Rodriguez rather than aligning with opposition leader Maria Corina Machado because he wants to maintain stability in the region.
He said his decision was based on a desire to avoid a power vacuum that might emerge if the entire regime was swiftly dismantled, noting the challenges faced in Iraq after American forces invaded.
“If you ever remember a place called Iraq where everybody was fired, every single person, the police, the generals, everybody was fired, and they ended up being ISIS,” Trump said. “Instead of just getting down to business, they ended up being ISIS.”
The remarks came a day after he met with Machado, who presented the president with the Nobel Peace Prize she was awarded last year.
“I had a great meeting yesterday with a person who I have a lot of respect for, and she has respect, obviously, for me and our country,” Trump said. “But I’ll tell you what, I got to know her. I never met her before, and I was very, very impressed. She’s a really, this is a fine woman.”
Trump earlier expressed his doubts about the level of domestic support Machado had in order to lead the nation through existing political headwinds. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters the president’s perspective was “based on realities on the ground.”

Leaker arrested
Leaker to News Media about Jan capture of Muduro
You may recall that both the Washington Post and New York Times knew about the military’s plans to arrest Maduro and his wife shortly before the January 3 raid. Both papers declined to use the story.President Trump told reporters on Wednesday, “And another piece of information that I think is very important is that a leaker has been found and is in jail right now.
“And that’s the leaker on Venezuela. We had a very bad leaker. There could be some others. We’re hot on their trail but the leaker has been found and the leaker’s in jail and will probably be in jail for a long time.”
The warrant said that law enforcement was investigating Aurelio Perez-Lugones, a system administrator in Maryland who has a top-secret security clearance and has been accused of accessing and taking home classified intelligence reports that were found in his lunchbox and his basement, according to an FBI affidavit.”

Marxist Networks behind Pro-Maduro
Marxist Network Behind Pro-Maduro, Anti-ICE Protests Faces Congressional Scrutiny
The groups have organized dozens of pro-Maduro and anti-ICE protests in recent weeks
Article by Eva Fu from The Epoch Times. After the U.S. capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro sent shockwaves worldwide, activist groups aligned with Marxist ideology and sympathetic to Chinese communist causes staged protests in America.
The same network of groups that fueled anti-Israel protests and the June 2025 Los Angeles riots against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has organized dozens of pro-Maduro and anti-ICE protests around the country.
One group, Answer Coalition, declared on social media an “emergency day of action” on Jan. 3.
ANSWER is closely associated with the Party for Socialism and Liberation and characterizes itself as anti-imperialist, and its steering committee consists of socialists, communists, civil rights advocates, and left-wing or progressive organizations from the Muslim, Arab, Palestinian, Filipino, Haitian, and Latin American communities.

Chuckie Schumer and Dems Hypocrisy
Dems start fundraising off Maduro arrest
Up until Trump arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, everyone agreed this was a bad man.In fact, when Trump was about to leave office after his first term, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) obliterated Trump on the Senate floor for not having his regime removed. Now, however, Democrats want to impeach Trump over this, and they are using the arrest to fundraise against the bad orange man.
After Donald Trump gave his State of the Union (SOTU) address in 2020, Schumer went nuclear on the floor.
He stated, "Maybe his best metaphor was his claim to bring democracy to Venezuela. There’s a big policy there. It flopped.”
He continued, "The president brags about his Venezuela policy? Give us a break. He hasn’t brought an end to the Maduro regime.”
Schumer then stated, “The Maduro regime is more powerful today and more entrenched today than it was when the president began his anti-Maduro. Same thing with North Korea, same thing with China, same thing with Russia. Same thing with Syria."
After the arrest, Schumer’s history would have one believe he would have been excited about the arrest, but that was not the case.
While there have been a limited number of Democrats who did support the arrest, most are pushing the same narrative as Schumer, and now we know why… they are fundraising off this.

The Hypocrisy of the Left
Constitutional Hypocrisy
The Marxist left parade in America chanting “No Kings,” yet when America, the Trump administration, removes a brutal tyrant & dictator that they even said was illegitimate, they support the dictator.Leftist outlets continue to ring out about the constitutionality of the operation to apprehend Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. I did find it interesting that The New York Times had an op-ed that actually agreed with Maduro being removed.
Needless to say, we can go back to December 1989 and Operation Just Cause in Panama to apprehend one Manuel Noriega as a precedent. Truthfully, we can go even farther back to the early 1800s when the Barbary pirates were attacking and seizing American ships and citizens on the high seas. Thomas Jefferson was the President then and dispatched our US Navy and Marines against Pasha Karamanli as he demanded tribute from America.
Under Article II powers of the Constitution, the President, as Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, is charged with the protection of our country.
This is something that Joe Biden did not do, and enabled one Nicolas Maduro to infiltrate criminal gangs, Tren de Aragua, and massive amounts of illicit drugs into our nation.
The result was the deaths, assaults, rapes, and crimes perpetrated against hundreds of thousands of Americans. At no time did we ever hear voices from the left speaking out against the unconstitutional open borders policy of the Biden administration.

Mexico on Notice
After Maduro, Trump puts MEXICO on Notice
Trump: Armada, Maduro Captured, Mexico On Notice
Short version: Trump says U.S. forces pulled off a surgical operation in Venezuela. Nicolás Maduro was taken. He and his wife were put on a ship. They’ll face charges in New York, Trump said. This happened fast, Trump told Fox and Friends. He said Maduro was holed up in a house that was more like a fortress. The team hit hard. They moved quick. No U.S. personnel killed, Trump said. Some were injured and came back.
Trump tied the operation to a broader law-and-order message. He made it clear the cartels and drug flows matter here at home. On Mexico, he said bluntly: Regarding Claudia Sheinbaum, 66th President of Mexico“--It wasn’t meant to be, we’re very friendly with her, she’s a good woman, but the cartels are running Mexico. She’s not running Mexico. The cartels are running Mexico. And we can be politically correct and be nice and say, ‘Oh yes, she is.’ No, No, she’s very, you know, she’s very frightened of the cartels.
They’re running Mexico. And I’ve asked her numerous times, would you like us to take out the cartels? ‘No, no no, Mr. President, no no, no, please.’ So, we have to do something, because we lost— the real number is 300,000 people, in my opinion.”
The tone was unapologetic. Short sentences. Clear aims. Trump framed this as decisive action against a brutal regime and as a message about border security and cartel violence. He promised the American people that the Maduro mission was precise and that the military was prepared for more if needed.

"Liberty! Liberty! Liberty!"
Venezuelans in South Florida celebrate ouster of Maduro government
DORAL, Fla. (AP) — Revelers chanted "liberty" and draped Venezuelan flags over their shoulders in South Florida on Saturday to celebrate the American military attack that toppled Nicolás Maduro's government — a stunning outcome they had longed for but left them wondering what comes next in their troubled homeland. For some Venezuelan natives, the military action — culminating months of stepped-up U.S. pressure — brought their dreams of reuniting with loved ones closer to reality after years of heartbreaking separations.
People gathered for a rally in Doral, Florida — the Miami suburb where President Donald Trump has a golf resort and where roughly half the population is of Venezuelan descent — as word spread that Venezuela's now-deposed president had been captured and flown out of the country.
Outside the El Arepazo restaurant, a hub of the Venezuelan culture of Doral, one man held a piece of cardboard with "Libertad" scrawled with a black marker. It was a sentiment expressed by other native Venezuelans hoping for a new beginning for their home country as they chanted "Liberty! Liberty! Liberty!"

Mamdani weighs in on Narco-Terrorist Maduro capture
Mamdani Slammed After Commenting on Maduro Capture
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani weighed in after U.S. forces captured Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro. He called the operation a violation of law and warned about fallout for Venezuelans in the city. The reaction online was fast and brutal. The raid in Caracas reportedly resulted in Maduro and his wife being taken into U.S. custody. Officials on multiple outlets said both have been indicted in the Southern District of New York. Explosions and air activity were reported in several Venezuelan locations as the operation unfolded.>br />
Mamdani posted on X about the event. His words drew a volley of criticism.
“I was briefed this morning on the U.S. military capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, as well as their planned imprisonment in federal custody here in New York City,” he wrote. “Unilaterally attacking a sovereign nation is an act of war and a violation of federal and international law.”That message set off a flood of replies. People on social platforms mocked the mayor, questioned his priorities, and told him to focus on local problems. Others criticized his ideological stance and his tone on U.S. action.
“This blatant pursuit of regime change doesn’t just affect those abroad, it directly impacts New Yorkers, including tens of thousands of Venezuelans who call this city home,” he added. “My focus is their safety and the safety of every New Yorker, and my administration will continue to monitor the situation and issue relevant guidance.”

Democrats complain about everything.
Congressional Democrats rage at Trump's Venezuela operation
Democratic lawmakers railed against President Donald Trump's overnight military operation in Venezuela on Saturday that resulted in the successful capture and indictment of socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife.Congressional Democrats argued Trump lacked legal authority and that it was counter to American interests to use military force against Maduro's regime....of course they did.
Republican lawmakers largely praised Trump's military operation with those representing South Florida's large Venezuelan community describing it as an "historic day" for the Venezuelan people and Latin America.
"Second unjustified war in my life time," Arizona Sen. Ruben Gallego, a Democrat with reported presidential ambitions, wrote on X shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday. "This war is illegal, it's embarrassing that we went from the world cop to the world bully in less than one year. There is no reason for us to be at war with Venezuela."

We are not at war with Venezuela. What we are is at war with a narco-terrorist and he's been captured and arrested. Democrats would not be happy unless they could complain about something.

Maduro "sucked Joe Biden"
Rubio: "They Sucked Joe Biden. They're Not Going To Sucker Donald Trump."
Secretary of State Marco Rubio sharply criticized the corrupt regime of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, confirming President Donald Trump is intensifying pressure on the dictator. Rubio told Fox News host Sean Hannity that the Maduro regime is not a legitimate government at all., Rubio confirmed the regime is actively involved in drug trafficking. He said, "What it is, is a transshipment organization. It allows cocaine and other drugs that are produced in Colombia to be trafficked through Venezuelan territory."
The Secretary added that elements of the regime "are allowed to leave Venezuela on airplanes and ships headed towards the United States." The Trump administration has responded by expanding its military presence and launching counter-drug strikes in the region.
And now Maduro is gone.

Maduro wants Trump to start talking seriously 🤣
Maduro Signals Openness To Drug And Oil Talks After Military Strikes
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced on Thursday that his government is "ready" to negotiate a drug-trafficking agreement with the United States. This follows months of escalating military pressure from the Trump administration, including a recent land strike on a Venezuelan port.
Maduro made the comments during a pre-taped interview with Spanish journalist Ignacio Ramonet, stating that Venezuela is prepared to talk "whenever they want it, wherever they want it and however they want it."
He called on the U.S. to "start talking seriously, with data in hand," regarding narcotics and oil investment.
In the meantime, the Trump administration has continued to intensify pressure, recently designating the Maduro regime as a foreign terrorist organization.

Trump intensifies both legal and military posture against Venezuela
Trump Told Maduro to Leave: Save Yourself, Your Family
President Donald Trump confirmed his call with Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro on Sunday night, but declined to provide details amid a report that he warned the dictator to leave to protect himself and his family. The report comes from sources who told The Miami Herald that Trump warned: You can save yourself and those closest to you, but you must leave the country now.
"I don't want to comment on it. The answer is yes," Trump told reporters Sunday aboard Air Force One when asked whether he had spoken with Maduro.
Trump reportedly delivered a stark message to Maduro during the high-stakes phone call last week: He, his wife Cilia Flores, and his son would be granted safe passage out of Venezuela — but only if they left immediately, the Herald reported.
The call, brokered by Brazil, Qatar, and Turkey, was intended as a last-ditch diplomatic effort as Washington prepares to expand its military campaign against Venezuela's ruling cartel, but it quickly collapsed over irreconcilable demands.

Russian official warns America
Russian Lawmaker Hints at Missile Transfers to Venezuela, Warns Washington of “Surprises”
In a striking signal of Moscow’s growing assertiveness in the Western Hemisphere, a senior Russian legislator has floated the prospect of supplying Venezuela with advanced hypersonic weaponry—an overt gesture of solidarity with a beleaguered ally and a pointed warning to the United States.Alexei Zhuravlyov, deputy chairman of the Russian parliament’s defense committee, told Gazeta.Ru that there were “no obstacles” to sending cutting-edge missiles such as the Oreshnik or Kalibr to Caracas. “I see no obstacles to supplying a friendly country with new developments such as the Oreshnik or, let’s say, the well-proven Kalibr missiles,” Zhuravlyov said, as reported by The Telegraph.
He added ominously that Americans “may be in for some surprises,” signaling Moscow’s readiness to counter Washington’s military posture in the Caribbean.
The White House, meanwhile, has sought to contain fears of a broader confrontation. Trump last week dismissed intelligence reports suggesting imminent attacks on Venezuelan soil, asserting, “I have not made a final decision.” The comment left open the door for further escalation even as Washington’s allies urge restraint.
Analysts caution that any Russian arms shipment to Venezuela could transform Latin America’s security calculus, introducing nuclear-capable systems into a volatile theater.
