House committee votes to release Trump’s tax returns

Ways and Means and all other anti-Trump members of committees releasing reports before Republicans take over House

The motion approved by all 24 Democrats on the committee, and voted against by all 16 Republicans on the panel, will reportedly pave the way for the release of the returns to the entire House of Representatives.

The JCT said it could not determine if Trump should have paid more or less taxes, citing a lack of investigatory power to demand documents from Trump and his businesses and to seek interviews with IRS agents assigned to audit Trump. 

“I think we need to leave that to the tax folks,” committee Chairman Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass) said when asked by reporters if he saw any red flags in Trump’s taxes.

How does this nonsense improve life for working people, or any people for that matter. This just shows how useless the House of Representatives and their committees are. We're paying 435 people for this wasted effort. Trump is not the president anymore. Did anybody tell the House Committee that?
