DeSantis drawing a line in the sand

Ron DeSantis Is Locked in What Might Be the Most Important Fight in America Right Now

It always gets worse before it gets better, but that’s usually a sign that the thing you’re fighting is getting desperate. Cornered animals become more vicious, lightbulbs burn brighter before they go out, and transgender activists push very hard to get your kids to watch them dance in lewd ways before they’re defeated.

Right now, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is doing his absolute best to make sure Florida children stay safe from predators who are attempting to indoctrinate them into a life of hyper-sexualization and normalized pedophilia.

DeSantis warned venues that minors were not to attend a touring Christmas drag show lest they face the loss of their business licenses due to the graphic and grotesque nature of the performances. The warning came from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) which made it very clear that if children attended the show, the state would come down on the business.

@FloridaDBPR
is warning The Plaza Live in Orlando about a drag show scheduled there later tonight.

“If minors are allowed to attend this drag show, the Department will take any and all actions available to ensure that you do not pose a threat to minors in the future.”

Well, guess what? The Plaza allowed all ages to attend the show in spite of receiving the letter from the DBPR and Despite the warning, children were in attendance at the show which included a raunchy version of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” retitled “Screwdolph” and featuring glowing breasts.

Read about it...

Protecting our children from this immoral crap is the right way to go.

Did these kids drive to the show themselves? Why are the parents being held responsible? If they're not able to take care of their kids, DeSantis needs to drag them out of these shows, cuff them, and haul them off to jail with the rest of the groomers. And then DCF needs to take their kids and put them in foster homes. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor is a serious thing. Sending letters to concert halls doesn't protect kids. Taking kids from their parents will scare the hell out of anyone who is thinking of taking their kid to one of those pervert shows. Send in the cops and start banging heads.

I see the venue as complicit with the bad parents. Movies have had G, Pg, R and X ratings for as long as I can remember. This was responsibility for the movie houses and it helped parents to know that certain movies would not be appropriate for their kids.

I just need to add to my earlier post....good parents should not need to be assisted by the event venues in order to know if their children should attend--- in fact it would be disgusting if a parent was so clueless that this form of "help" was needed.
Even so...as a society we need all businesses to accept that they have an absolute duty to prevent young children from being exposed to material that would be R or X Rated ..or worse, if this was a movie.
